Yes, illegal immigration needs to be stopped, the violators deported and the facilitators charged with a felony. Killing them after three catches is a bit harsh, don't you think? Perhaps sending them to Iraq would be a better solution.

What someone earns is theirs, not yours, not mine and certainly not the governments. While reasonable taxes are necessary, moneys earned through the utilization of the US infrastructure should be taxed. However, I am completely against the seizure of legally gained wealth.

Falling through the cracks is totally different than exploiting loopholes and creating generations of takers. What we have is the ne'er-do-wells taking from the pot that is/was intended for the truly needy. They should be caught and treated like the criminals that they are, but what the hell, they keep voting in their benefactors.

Next, I challenge your assertions that US corporations are INTENTIONALLY refusing to create jobs here. They are doing exactly what their shareholders are demanding that they do, they are employing the equity where it will return the most to the people who have invested. What has created the imbalance in cost of doing business between the US and emerging countries is the roadblocks imposed on business in the US. Wages are but one factor, the highest corporate tax rate in the world is another. For better or worse, the EPA regulations have added costs to the businesses in the US, costs that are not imposed in other countries.

Why do the industries that are being shut down thrive in other countries?? What are the differences.

To get a better view, look at the automobile industry in the Southern US, have they put Detroit out of business? Or have the idiots who ran the companies and gave away the huge salaries and benefits to the unions, put Detroit out of business? Why is it that car makers in the South are build high quality vehicles for far less cost, yet they are paying highly competitive wages? The automation that the UAW fought tooth and nail is now commonplace, the only thing different is that the UAW is no longer representing the true industry.

One reason people came to the United States originally was because of the government in their home country. They came to what is now the United States, settled and created a new country. The united States government, the oppression, the excessive legislation, the ridiculously high cost of living, the shitty job market, the loss of freedom and the lack of opportunity of today are now driving many people away. No, they are not leeches and scum - they are people looking for opportunity, freedom and a new life elsewhere.

 

quite a few of the people i know that want to leave the U are not poor or destitute they have means and influence and have, like me< gotten tired of the continuous bullshit in-fighting
we do not mind paying our taxes but when we pay our due and proper and some asshole gets away with paying a settlement because they dodged paying for years or because they paid lawyers and politicians to keep them safe it irks us

then add onto that the fact that politicians use the fact that the normal american is an idiot that turns on their fellow citizens before they blame the group at fault to better their finances as they sell you out to the highest bidder
