I am starting to think this whole age thing is just a way to generate posts, meaning hits, meaning money to the site. The controversy of the age being changed to 16 has just settled down and then they raise it again.

 

I think he is just trying to shut the website down and wants to drive everyone away.

 

Next month they're raising the age limit to 21. By the end of the year only stories featuring MILFs will be allowed.

 

Apparently sexstories.com cost him $200,000, and he also bought asianporn.com for the same amount. Or I suppose it could be someone who's buying those domains and this site.

They're asking $750k for 'cock.com' so I guess it was a bargain.

So I dunno. Preparing it for re-sale, with a nominal politically correct policy?? I do hope he sells it to somebody. It's weird he can't edit the story site, and weird he wants to halve or whatever the number of stories.

 

This new age change is a fucking joke! There will now be a whole raft of stories disappearing, and writers! This author will be one.

Well done ILMJ, good way to kill a site that was already in decline!

With respect WSF, i accept what you say but that is nothing to do with the main part of my comment! The changing of the ages is a joke and you choose to criticise the fact that I aimed my criticism at the wrong person! Come on, you are better than that!

 

I have been coming to this site for years to read stories yet in the last year or so those in charge of the site have seam intent on driving the site into the ground. Well I've had it if they want to kill the site so be it. I will find somewhere else to go to read stories. I wish everyone goodbye and have a nice life.

Perhaps he's tired of seeing character assassinations taking place?

Your point is valid. Quite valid. Even more than quite valid. More stories will get chopped. (Not by me.) More authors will leave. More readers will leave.

However, you should consider an apology to ILMJ. She's the site's admin, not the site's owner. Direct your wrath toward him (Nophest) if you wish to aim accurately.

Been nailed twice with warnings: One completely my mistake, the last retrofitted after the change but I think I'll hang in there if I don't get kicked off before for fouling up??

If ILMJ is offended by my rant then I should say two things. Firstly, my humble apologies for being so cruel and secondly, if THAT offended you, perhaps the site needs a less sensitive administrator!!!

The same message goes to any mod on the site. If you agree that the changes are detrimental to the site, show your protest by quitting! It's not as if you are being paid, surely you do it to make the site better?

Just my opinion or do I need to apologise again and pay for counselling???

ANd can I just say, from the heart, that after much thought, I would like to apologise to ALL mods. This change cannot be easy for those who loved this site enough to want to help to run it and then see the owners, systematically ruin it. It must hurt you all, as it does to the writers and readers.
