It's been depressing watching what has happened to the site over the last few months. Though I've been mostly a lurker for the last 5ish years, and only contributed one story of my own, I love the site. I checked almost every day for new stories or chapters from favorite writers and interesting reads from new ones. I've yet to find a place that matches it. Here's hoping things work out in the end.

Oh, and my one story is apparently now against the rules too. Oh well. I have a copy. Wish I had copies of the stories that have gone away.

 

Pm the author, most of them still pop in from time to time to check PMs I pop in all the time just to read the rants, some funny shit!

I'm still seeing stories with 13 and 14 year olds being posted every day, and are still here. so is anyone actually enforcing the rule anyway? Not aiming that at the mods at all, just a real question?


what about spammers? what about people who write the first few chapters of a story here, only to say "i've sold the story to a publisher, so you have to go to ______ to pay to read the rest of it", kind of abusing the site for free advertising? all that is allowed?

I've come here for years as a person who enjoys reading. I do enjoy the 'porn' part of it, but a story with a good plot will definitely get a positive rating from me faster than one that just has fast hard sex in it. I will say I don't read the stories that have titles so long they tell what's going to happen, I mean why would I? I already know what's gonna go down......

several of my favorite writers seem to have disappeared, and with the changes and what I've read in this very thread from some of the rest of you, I can't say I blame them. I'm in the middle of a couple of multi chapter stories I figure will never be finished now. Hate it when a writer leaves it stuck somewhere.

anyway, yeah the site is going to die a slow painful death. In the mean time, some of us will continue to hope our favorite writers come and finish the story, or least that we can find what site they went to to start putting their stories there.....
