I was having a discussion with a black guy I work with. He said that if a person wouldn't have sex with someone because of the color of ther skin, it's racist. I was paraphrasing. His exact words were if a white chic won't fuck me because I'm black, she's a racists

I replied that not always. I'm sure there are racist who believe that a certain color of people are beneath them and would never have sex whit them, but I also think that there are people who are just not attracted to people of another race.

But I also see that racism might play a part in the reason why a white person might not be attracted to a black person and vice versa. For example they may have been raised by people who thought them not to mix with other races.

So what's your pinion? Can a person not want to have sex with people of a certain race and it not be racist?

 

If it is BECAUSE they're black then yeah. There are some race issues there. Racist is a commonly used term that is supposed to mean thinking ones race is superior. But it has become this word that means i judge you for the stereotypes of your race. In the first part i'm not a racist. In the second i am very much one. Thats an opinion

 

People get to choose who they want to fuck. If a person does not want to fuck a black person it is their choice.

Not sleeping with someone because of their skin colour is racist. However, generally not being attracted to a certain race is not. The difference is massive. No one is saying you have to sleep with anyone from another race but it's the reason you don't want to that's the issue.

Reading the above, there's a subtle distinction to be made. If I simply choose who I have sex with and who I don't, and there's a basis for that other than race, I don't see it as racist. On the other hand, if I say to myself, or to others, that I won't have sex with ANY black men, ever, I think there IS an element of racism, because now I'm generalizing about an entire race.

Also, if I'm raised to believe that I shouldn't "mix with other races", it's just another way of saying that I'm a racist, and that I inherited my racist views from my racist parents.

None of this, though, entitles a black man to say that ALL white chicks should be willing/eager to fuck him in particular, and that if I don't choose to, I'm a racist.
