Since the partition in 1946, the neighbors of Israel have staged a constant effort to dislodge them, almost 70 years of hostilities. It almost seems like the other ME states love Israel to be there, it keeps the rabble roused against something other than their own regimes.

Of course the real question is: "Why do they want to beat them?"
