What type of story do you prefer or do you like both.

Also please forgive my placing poll in the title.

 

Well the question isn't really clear. It's like asking if I prefer whiskey or lemonade. Depending on the circumstances, only one answer is correct. Then there are the times when you can combine the two for something special.
I like my erotic fiction to have a plot, whether I'm reading or writing. A good story that has a well written sex scene is great. A story that is pure sex is only good for one thing... But sometimes that's what you are looking for.

 

Non Erotic Stories

I prefer non erotic stories. I dislike explicit sex and obscene words. If I encounter them in a story I usually stop reading it.

I am more interested in the emotional aspects of human sexual attraction than the sexual aspects. I like a story to be told with plausibility, emotional depth, and psychological insight. I know what naked bodies look like. I know what happens during sexual intercourse. A story about naked bodies engaging in sexual intercourse bores me.

A story of a sixteen year old girl who seduces her father irritates me morally. It also violates my understanding of how sixteen year old girls behave. A story of a man who seduces his sixteen year old daughter offends me morally. Such events do happen. They often leave emotional scars on the daughter.

I do have kinks. I can be attracted to an incest nosex story. This would be a story about an incestuous attraction that is in some way acted on, but which by mutual agreement is not consummated.

I can also be attracted to a story about wife sharing. These used to strike me as bizarre. Now they sometimes arouse me for reasons I do not quite understand. It may be because, while I am getting older, to my great misfortune I am attracted to younger women.

Unfortunately, I could not keep up with a younger wife without Viagra.

In an incest nosex story, or a wife sharing story there should be a shared reluctance, a feeling that a standard is being violated.

 

There's a time and place for everything. People's tastes differ.

I have no problem with vulgarity in a story. People use words in a fight or in bed they don't use in church. I like stories which may or may not have sex more than hardcore porn. Situations should be plausible unless the entire thing is fantasy, and even then they should make some degree of sense.

People have sex, so if it makes sense for the people in the story to have sex, I'm fine with it. Some of my own stuff has no sex, or sex scenes you could show on TV.

Neither a reader nor a writer NEEDS a full description of a cumshot, but some plot lines can lead to it. Others don't, and they shouldn't be forced.

Since this is a porn site, a lot of people want porn. Porn can be vanilla softcore or downright filthy XXX hardcore. I feel there should be the same variety in stories.

Moderation in all things, especially moderation.

If you look at my favorites in my profile you will see I'm about evenly split myself. However recently I haven't seen that many new stories that have peeked my interest on both sides.

 

Non erotic mostly. Still havn't found another site that has a format I like.
This one was the best sadly a lot of the good non erotic writers left and took both their erotic and non erotic stories with them.

 

Here's another question do non erotic stories belong on the site? I bring this up after another member stated that this is a porn site and only porn and porn related subjects belong on it. I personally think if the site didn't want them there wouldn't be a non erotic theme listed.

 

Yes they have every right to be here as the erotic ones. If this site was just for porn then GD would not exist and the forum would slow way down.
