So the family thing was basically a family and friend cookout to sort of celebrate all the October birthdays they have in the family. Like six or seven, apparently this family likes fucking in February.

Anyway, made some amateur observations while i was there. Bianca hates her step-father. I'm guessing it's because her mother married again rather quickly after Bianca's dad died. Gossiping grandmothers are a wonderful source of information, by the way, in case you're wondering. Bianca's mom is a control freak/perfectionist. Bianca's married sister is a less bitchy version of Bianca. Bianca's step-father is a nice guy, kinda rundown by the women in his life but nice. Bianca's brother-in-law looked happy to have another sane person around. And basically all the women in the family, blood-related to Bianca, are rather attractive. I mean, seriously, this family hit the jackpot in the looks department.

Everything was going as well as it could until Bianca, her step-father, mom, and I went inside to get out of the sun for a bit. By this point, most people had headed home but Bianca was helping her mom cleanup and I was Bianca's ride so I was a bit stuck. Unfortunately, alcohol had been imbibed by all, but me, and that's when the screaming match started between Bianca and step-dad. I honestly have no idea how it started but I knew I wasn't sticking around for the end.

So I started walking to the door when Bianca stopped screaming. I was at the door when she reached me and grabbed my arm. She asked "where are you going?" "Home," I replied. "Why?" she asked. "Because I have a headache and I have better things to do with my weekend than be a witness to family dysfunction."

And here internet denizens, a miracle occurred. Bianca said "I'm sorry." And it seemed like she actually meant it. But I did really have a headache so I said, "Apology accepted. Now if you want a ride home I suggest you get your purse and meet me at my truck, because I was serious about going home." Then I opened the door and walked to my truck.

She knocked on the passenger side window before I managed to turn the key. She was quiet on the ride back, for which my headache was thankful. She asked me in when we got to her place. I agreed, because I sure as hell wasn't going to suffer through someone else's family gathering without getting some pussy in return.
