It was obvious enough for me. As I've said, the age was mentioned a few times (once as 17-year-old, another time as "not even 18"). Even in the one you've posted there's a scene where Hannah's younger sister gets outraged with the protagonist over sleeping with her, saying she thinks he might have a 'thing for little girls' because of it.

The bottom line is: This is a story about someone having sex with underage girls. And it reads like a story about someone having sex with underage girls. There's really not much room for interpretation.

Oh, I've read it. I've read it numerous times, every time Joe thought it's cool to just repost it after it got taken down for violation. Just like I read a lot of other stories, every day. So trust me, I think I can tell when someone wants to write a pedo story. What I can't tell is why someone would so fervently try to defend a pedo story, though.

 

The story reviewers aren't mods.. (well, all bar one) all they can do is say "Yes" or "No".

 

Dude there is a simple solution to this issue. You are obviously in communication with said author. Send a copy of the story along with information authorizing you to post it to I Love My Job and ask her if the story complies with site rules. If she says yes then post it. If not make the necessary changes and send it to her again to review. If she says the story's OK then people can complain all they want but it won't matter the one responsible for removing stories has given it her approval.

 

Yeah, and Playboy is a serious magazine with scholarly articles that just happens to also have the occasional photos of naked women. It may be true, but nobody cares. Whatever literary value some of the stories here may have, if the author didn't consider it to be porn they wouldn't have posted it on a porn story website to be read by people looking for porn stories. Getting married and having children is most certainly pornography if the sex act is depicted graphically, regardless of age. It doesn't matter how good the non-sex parts of the story are.

You want to cry us a river over the hypocrisy of 18 as an arbitrary age of consent? Sure. That's legitimate. Some kids are very mature by 15 and other adults over 21 still haven't grown up. But that's not for us to decide, it's the fucking law. It's to protect kids from nasty shit, even if things get fuzzy at the borderline. Web sites have to go along with it for their own protection, even if they don't want to. Accusations of underage porn brings the heat down on you hard.
