I have an observation to make. Pardon me while I beat a dead horse just a bit more.

In this thread two album covers have been posted which---according to the Fount of All Knowledge---have girls on them which are much younger than anything that I have ever posted here.

Have there been any protests or attack posts in response to the posting of these album covers? No. Not a single "She's too young!" post is to be found in response to them. The silence is deafening!

Yet do I receive the same kind of response when I post pics of girls who only look like they are under 18? No. In my case all hell breaks loose.

I find this inconsistency to be both funny and exasperating at the same time.

Well they haven't gone unnoticed Joe, nor unconsidered.
The difficulty I have with this decision, is the fact that they are album covers and have presumably been distributed world-wide.

We have had the same problem deciding about the pics of Emma Watson. The pics that have been posted here are of her face, but not of her body (photoshopped) and her face has been published all round the world, but she is only 17.

Like any rule, the over-18 rule can sometimes be a bit tricky to apply.

There are images of both of the album covers over at Wikipedia. I guess that means that it is ok to show them.
My complaint isn't that they are being shown in this thread, chunky.
My complaint is that the very ones who flame others for posting pics of really young looking girls are silent as a tomb regarding these images.
It seems clear to me that if they were consistent they would be raising all sorts of hell regarding them.

 

Yes, you're right, there has been a deafening silence, maybe people thought about it and came to the same conclusion (or lack of) that I did...then again, maybe not ....

However, your point is a very relevant one, and I have decided to observe the letter of the under-18 rule and take them out of this forum.
Anyone who wants to find them can follow your link and make their own judgements on wikipedia rather than here!

 

Touche' (French to English translation for tooshay ) to Chunky for setting your own standards and not relying on things being "legal" because they were posted on some other site or even because they made it through government censorship some 40 years ago.

Nothing wrong with young looking people in the pics as long as they are of age, not my first preference, but neither is some of the filth that jims posts. I think it's great you stand your ground so viligiantly JD.

For me this site is about having some fun, I don't take it as a soapbox to sway the masses into my beliefs.

To all those who say she's too young - I've got one word --- BOLLOCKS!
