There are common themes in just about every religion. That tends to give some credence to the idea that there really is a God.
But for me, the most obvious proof that there is a God is to stand on a river bank early in the morning or at the end of the day.
Then, I can feel the all being presence.

I understand what evidence is. You accept certain evidence and reject other evidence. It's human nature to believe what you believe is true. Your conviction that the things you have accepted are correct is no different than a religious person's beliefs in God and the Angels, or reincarnation, Heaven, Hell, etc. You feel superior to those who think differently than you, but that is also human nature. You have demonstrated my position to be quite valid.

Bron, no ones feels superior, we just like to use logic and reason for our arguments. Religion and God are the complete opposite of logic and reason, so it has to be called out. Your arguments are extremely weak.

 

I have yet to see you use logic or reason, and your reading comprehension is poor, as well. This not a discussion about whether God is real or science is a contradiction of religion. This is a discussion about human knowledge and apprehension of truth. Submitting irrelevant facts, just for the pleasure of being correct is not an argument, and certainly not logical.

Okay, reading comprehension lesson #1. The word "irrelevant" and the word "incorrect" do not mean the same thing. As for looking superior to you, some things cannot be prevented.
