Well, my recently ex-gf is more of a football fan than most guys I know from the bar...so I'm more in your shoes than asking if I'd choose the game or the girl.

 

Firsthand experience when I visit my cousin's and the game is on. I just ignore it and try to act interested.

 

Now my boyfriend is just totally disgusted. He is losing a hundred dollars on this. He said it was money in the bank. Sighs, My guy is a genius.

For me, it depends on my sub's recent behaviour. There is always PVR and online videos for later, but being able to watch it live makes a great reward. It also makes for a very effective punishment if he is made to wait or put in a separate room while others get to watch. However, multitasking is always a good way to go, as you have done.

Placing bets is probably one of the most interesting games to play with subs. Each time his team scores, he gets a small reward. Each time the other team scores, he gets a punishment or has to do an extra chore that day. Or perhaps you could create more specific, risky bets. Remember to keep things interesting and fun!

I just thought of a fun game...Have the football game on in the background, and touch him, tease him, taunt him, and do every single thing you can to try to distract him from the game...then see how much he remembers from the football game.
