I have still not talked to deidre79 on the telephone. I have not met her in person. Consequently, I cannot prove that she is a woman. No one else can prove otherwise.

The rumor that deidre79 is a man was invented to ridicule me. If deidre79 created an earlier profile claiming to be a man, the old timers here would have remembered "him." deidre79 had a distinctive personality. I do not believe it was fabricated.

 

Deidre79 had some big balls didn't she?, knowing for a fact she didn't have any titties.

 

She had a lot of courage to brave the flames of the bullies and stand up for what she believed in. I was not always around to stand by her. I usually disagreed with her myself. She was and is a fascinating female.

It has been over two years since my last e-mail letter from her. I hope she is happy.

 

From what I remember Deidre posted at least 3 pictures in the picture section, each picture she claimed was of her. Problem was that each picture was of a different girl, which then sparked the debate as to whether or not Deidre was really a girl or some guy playing out a fantasy.

Contrary to what D.L. thinks, it is quite easy for a guy to adopt a female persona and do it successfully. There are a few things to remember, like manner of phrasing and word choice, but if the male took a little time and did some background checking then with a little practise it becomes very easy.

So basically 70 out of every 100 accounts are MALE, and out of those 70 accounts ONLY 21 relate to MALE avatars, which leaves 49 MALE accounts using FEMALE avatars.

 

Deidre79, was a man, it has been confirmed, DL is deranged about Deidre79. Politically, I agreed with 80% of 'his' political views.

I mod on a couple of boards and all of this sounds so familiar. A forum can be run with either the least rules, which means no spam or criminal conspiracies, or the most rules, which means everybody has to play nice, no insults, no flaming, all playing nice. In a least rules forum, the only thing you can do with a member who breaks the rules is ban them. The most rules forum has warnings and infraction points, if somebody gets too many points, they get suspended for a few days. It is a real pain in the ass.
The problem is, there is no in between. A forum is either a zoo, or a daycare center. I don't envy the mods of this place one bit. I don't know where they would start.

 

I can deal with Rules that are strict or lenient. I want the Rules to be fairly enforced. If you obey them, you are safe. If you disobey them you are banned. What I dislike are Rules that are arbitrarily enforced: if the admin and the mods like you, you get away with stuff; if they dislike you, you get banned, even though you were obeying the Rules.

deidre79, of beloved memory, was banned simply because nophest disliked her.

 

So this is a daycare for all the animals in the zoo ..........

Excuse me, but you, ejls, smc and other long standing members thought otherwise, even after the first 15000 posts you were convinced. Go back through her profile page on Vb, see how many commented on her pics. All you are doing is taking Chunky's word as gospel and he ain't religious!

I've chatted to her on yahoo, seen a pic, and knew her profession, where she lived, saw her holiday photos and such.
