I'm reading a company email, marked Urgent Warning: Rattlesnakes. It seems one of our Directional Drillers went to walk out of the Company Man's Office/Living quarters, stepped on what he thought was a loose rock, and instead it was a coiled up prarie rattler that struck him on the boot, but did not manage to inject venom.

Now let me tell you the rest of the story. If he was anything like most the DD's I've seen, he was packing close to a quarter ton of ass with him and the poor little snake never had a prayer.
