Osama is probably hiding somewhere in the Afgan mountains or probably in Iran somewhere (his best option at the moment). Assuming you point your finger from NYC east towards the middle east you would kill millions of innocent people along the way. Assuming theoretically that a huge tidal wave does not form and thus killing essentially everyone within X miles of the shores in europe and northern Africa, would you really kill about 809,624,686 people in the hopes of Osama or other terrorists being among them?

 

I'd want 'The Key' from "The Lost Room" a Sci-Fi channel miniseries. It's available on DVD for anyone who hasn't seen it.

Basically it's a hotel room key that opens ANY door with a lock. No matter what the door is it leads into "the room". Once inside the room, if you close the door and then picture where you want to "exit", the door opens anywhere you want. So you could walk into your closet and exit in paris. Plus every time you leave the room and come back the bed's made and the room's clean. Great place!

Anyhow, I'd want it because I'd never have to pay to travel. No waiting around at airports. No getting sick from the re-circulated air on the plane. And no paying for hotels once I get where I'm going. I could just go back into "the room".

 

If someone in Paris saw you exit "the room" would they see your cloest or would they see the original room? If I thought this though correctly, you would still see your closet but everyone else would see the original room (in paris looking into the doorway). Essentially you would be in two places at the same time.

They would see "the room". The idea is that you walk from your house into the room. And only by closing the door can you then open it to somewhere else. So no one would ever know the origin point. They'd only see "the room".
