To gloss this over is show indifference to folks who really do have severe personality disorders, there are folks who should not be indulging.

 

Some people are more lost about coping with the sentence of existence than others. Some people only need a little fuck-it medication. Some people end up liking it more. It has to do with a person's overall disposition to dopamines. Science might say alcoholism is an illness. Religion might even call it a genetic illness. Nihilists like me know that people simply love death because it's back where they came from.

 

Nope, sorry, but the only reason people try drugs is because they want to, not because they got high and randomly decided that they were going to try sticking a needle into their arms and shooting up. Those "severe personality disorders" are what leads them to try hard drugs, not pot.

Perhaps you do not know of anyone who followed the path of addiction through the initial use of innocuous drugs, I do, and so do many other parents who lost children to drug use.

What you seem to be missing is that the drug itself is not the culprit, I never said it was, what starts it rolling is the use of a mood altering substance to alleviate the symptoms of the disorder. Marijuana is a readily available substance that does just that, so is alcohol. The latter being the most abused drug on the planet.

 

I agree completely, the entire drug war should stop. Its an epic fail and if the cops didn't get all the perks out of it that they do i would say they would be for stopping the drug war. I think its a strong statement from the government when as much as 60% of the population wants the drug war to stop and the government goes in the opposite direction making more laws, more prisons and more people in prison for less and less. Definitely not a government for tthe people anymore

 

We can not simply "stop the drug war", that would be chaos. There has to be a different mindset in place, one that acknowledges that some folks are going to be addicted because of other disorders, but at the same time we can allow hard drugs to fall into the hands of kids.

If some adults one wants to fuck up their lives there is not much we can do about it. If some kid gets pushed into becoming a junkie, then someone needs to pay for supplying the drugs.

 

Well of course, i realize it can't just end, but the putting everyone in jail for any and every offense could be worked on fairly quickly. My thoughts on it are as follows for ending the drug war, put 3 simple rules in place to start with. First all drugs should be used inside ones home. Second while under the influence one must remain in their home. Finally no innocent party shall be harmed or take in fumes etc from the use of those drugs. Then issue punishment if say dude is smoking crack with kids in the house. But literally destroying a person's home, killing innocent people and doing massive and permanent damage to innocent people and kids is just the cost of doing business right now and that attitude needs to change. The little boy they blew up down here from raiding the wrong house will live with all the damage for life, the parents are stuck with almost two million dollars in medical bills , the cops say its their fault for being there and they don't care that its part of the job to get drug users, and a judge refuses to hear a lawsuit against the government to pay for medical bills. The sheriff thought it was funny. This kind of stuff is what i want stopped over night. Swat raids on innocent people because they have the wrong house and they kill and destroy property for fun with zero accountability. .

This asshole is holding up the medical marijuana bill here in PA. Montel Williams was out here yesterday at the town hall meeting on medical marijuana all fucked up on oxys because he couldnt smoke herb in the state lol . The bill is ready to be passed and signed 88% of the people are for it and now this one dickhead in the house still living in the past is holding up the bill .

I was watching one of those "How It's Made" shows the other day and they were making Rayon, they talked about the thousands of trees that were cut down for their cellulose to make a fabric that could be made much cheaper and more friendly to the environment if they shifted from old growth pine trees that supply only 40% of their weight as usable fiber to using paper that is being recycled or even the cellulose fibers from the hemp plant or even bamboo.
I see the use of bamboo and hemp fabric as a boon for textiles makers because it is cheaper to produce and both plants have multiple uses even while being used for cloth. All I can guess for a reason that they refuse to do it is because they want to kill the planet and the people.
