  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

Being an overweight American, I would have to say NO, the government should not interfere and regulate what I put inside of me. Yes, I'm overweight by quite a bit, and of course I have been trying to lose weight, and of course it's difficult for me to do so. But guess what? It was my choice to become fat, and it's now my choice to lose that weight. Doritos taste awesome, and nobody should ever be denied the opportunity to eat such a wonderful food (well, maybe not babies who don't have their teeth yet). All of the nutrition facts are already on the back of the bag as well as the ingredients, so anybody that wants to buy a bag should know what's in them. But to remove the choice from teh consumer is simply a ridiculous notion to me.

Rant over. Carry on. There's nothing to see here, folks.

Schools started putting the soda machines in because they got a kick-back from the beverage companies. In one case I read about, the school sold it's roof space to Coca-Cola and they painted a huge sign on it that could be seen from the air so anyone looking down would see the advertisement. Schools finding themselves with a leaner budget got their coffers fattened a bit by fattening up their students. And it's win-win for the beverage companies because they get lots of brand exposure and they get to "hook 'em while they're young."

Rather than limit junk foods you can buy I wish they would subsidize healthy foods.

Just tax the fat, stupid, motherfuckers whom after years of shoveling it in couldnt decide that it's a bad idea, and still fucking continued to do it. I used to be fat, and I decided to just eat 3 meals a day and what do you know it worked so I get to say what ever I want in this matter knowing it in a first person perspective for myself.

E- weight tax for fat asses taking up space, and exerting excess pressure on the concrete.

Well, as long as the drugs aren´t smoke like marjuana, all those candies, sugar and McDonalds stuff are almost more dangerous then the drugs. So I agree with you, that the goverment should do something about it.

Sweet, sugary food (yum, yum . . . chocolate chip cookies . . . ) shouldn't be regulated. America is a free country (although some would debate otherwise), and its citizens have the right to stuff their face with sugar until they fall into a diabetic coma (if they wish). The average American knows that junk food galore isn't good for the body.

P.S.: Your original post about picketing Hershey, Pennsylvania, gave me an interesting mental projection. An adorably cute town initially built around a single product (Hershey's chocolate), I think angels would fear to tread in Hershey, PA, with protest signs . . .

Fuck regulation. What the government *should* provide is proper food supply. Don't regulate sugar out of existence. Make sure every household, including those in inner cities, has access to fresh, healthy food. (Google "food desert" for more info on this phenomenon.)

The poorest people need access to REAL food that is affordable, not $1 a box Hamburger Helper and Kraft Dinner. If that's all they can afford, then that is what they will eat.

As people learn how to eat healthier, they will teach their children. And that is the process we need to start now. If the parents stop buying sugar shit for their kids and telling the kids that shit is edible and food-like, then there will be no more profit in making those products.
