There are a variety of old proverbs that apply here, but a basic summary is that those that seek power don't deserve it. I honestly don't want it and have said so for many years. I've done it before, and it's a thankless job and it sucks. I seriously don't want it, but it all works out because I never expected to get it in the first place.

But I also practice what I preach, and a particular former mod has challenged me many times to apply. You should know by now that I love challenges. If I'm going to complain, I better at least make the offer to do it.

For the record, I'm great at debating and you have no idea what a debate even looks like. But I'd make a good mod because I understand nuance and I don't play favorites. But this forum definitely needs somebody to do something, and I offered due to that challenge I mentioned earlier.

 

You and I both have several thousand posts, within those several thousand posts, I have never once seen you debate anything.

What I have seen from you, is minor attacks, nothing more, nothing less.

For you to make the claim that you posses excellent debating skills, that several have never had the privilege of witnessing,is a bit concerning to say the least.
