  3. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

    StanleyOG.

On February 23, 1957, a real snorer by Russell Arms called "Cinco Robles" peaked at #23. Go figure.

    "HARLEM NOCTURNE"---The VISCOUNTS

Originally released as a single in 1959, it only managed a peak of #52.

Re-released in 1965, it crested at #39 on New Years Day, 1966.

It is The Viscounts only Top 40 hit.

The Elegants probably did not realize, especially after hitting #1 on August 25, 1958, that they would never have another Top 40 hit.

Despite several hits on the R&B charts, The Dazz Band only achieved one entry in the Billboard Top 40 Singles Chart, reaching #5 with 'Let It Whip' on July 17, 1982

Not everyone likes/liked Uriah Heep; not quite metal, a bit more than hard rock and certainly not a singles band.

They made it into the Billboard Top 40 just once, in September 23, 1972, when 'Easy Livin' just squeaked through at #39.....

Leslie Pearl has written songs for Kenny Rogers and Crystal Gayle, and has had her compositions covered by Dr. Hook & The Medicine Show, Johnny Mathis and others.

If any of that gave you a clue that as a songwriter she is, at best, mediocre.....you'd be right.

Take, for instance, her one Top 40 song: the completely banal "If The Love Fits, Wear It"
    #28 in August, 1982

Of course, there are always classics like Mark Dinning's 'Teen Angel', which hit #1 in February, 1960.

Oklahoma's Dinning never again broke the Top 40 barrier, but this is terrific.

Guess who peaked at #26 on May 26, 1979 with their only Top 40 hit?

If you guessed Tycoon with "Such A Woman", you would be correct!

Peter Nero entered the Top 40 just once in his long career.....in December, 1971 with "Theme from The Summer of 42", which hit #21

The Laurie Sisters struck copper (not silver or gold) by placing one hit in the Top 40, with 'Dixie Danny' (peaked at #30 in April, 1955)

April 15, 1961 was the day that Freddie King (mis-spelled Freddy on the single) saw his only Top 40 tune peak at #29. Here he is with "Hide Away".....
