After work sometimes, me and the fellas go to happyhour, or over the river to the nudey-bars. sometimes my buddies will slip-off their wedding bands. I usually wait for an opportune time to ask about their wives. This makes me feel a lot better about myself. i don't know why, though.

 

Nope. Not out here on the rigs and haven't for 35 years. The get hung on things and cut your finger off, get smashed on your finger, and if you get real creatifve they can electrocute you.

If you do where a wedding ring and take it off, it leaves a visible mark so distinctive that it has come to be known as a cheater's ring. And were they hoping to find dates in a strip club. The only place worse to try to find one would be your own family reunion. Those girls are performers (artists actually in my opinion) and they've already got a man if they want one, a full life, and a real bad opinion of men looking for cheap thrills when they will sell them to you for a dollar, heat you up and send you home to your wife.

And if all you are really looking for is sex, you can find someone of the opposite sex lookin for the same thing and wedding rings are of no consequence to either of them.

I know TwistedOblivion (aka Mr. Furred) wears his all the time. He actually got into a fight with his boss because he didn't want to remove his wedding ring while working. He freaks out if it falls off his hand in his sleep. I don't wear mine anymore though, my fingers swelled up badly after a while and the ring snapped so I wear my engagement ring on my pinky.

My husband never had a ring - his excuse, sportsman and all that!! but for a while I had an annoying habbit if sitting watching games with him pointing out everyone who wore them! Sill not sweating over it!

me too - and no I do not wear a wedding band - no jewelery - I used to wear a wedding band - once a girl was hitting on me and her friend (no so subtely) pointed to my wedding band - she turned all red!
