  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

Americans may not like the media, but polls are indicating that they trust it more and more — especially compared with President Donald Trump.

A Reuters/Ipsos poll out earlier this week was the latest to tap into the trend. Of the 14,300 people surveyed, 48 percent expressed a “great deal of” or “some” confidence in the press — a figure that was up from 39 percent in November 2016. People with “hardly any” confidence in the media dropped from 51 percent to 45 percent.

Other pollsters have reached similar findings. Last month, Gallup reported a 9 percentage point increase in “trust and confidence” in mass media from a year ago, rising to 41 percent from 32 percent.

And in August, 54 percent of respondents replied to a Quinnipiac University poll that they trusted the media more than Trump to tell “the truth about important issues.” Just 36 percent responded in favor of Trump.

    ---------

Trump acts like he is so popular that he can do and say anything and get away with it. Ronald Reagan was that popular. Trump is not.

Well, it isn't Shooters day to do the dogs research for him, but since it's clear that the dog missed the point of the post, and because it is after all the holidays, (Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and Goodwill to all!) Shooter will elaborate a bit.

    See, dog posted that;
"After getting a law degree from Harvard Barack Obama taught law at the University of Chicago. The University of Chicago has an academic reputation rivaling those of universities in the Ivy League."
His post was in response to other posts alleging that President Obama has never held a private sector paying job.

Shooter took dog's post to mean that because President Obama graduated from a reputable Ivy league school and later actually taught at another reputable University, it was improper to smear the mans' work ethic or reputation. That caused Shooter to Google "Famous Harvard Graduates" which ultimately led him to the web site link that was posted.

Neither Shooter or the web site (as far as Shooter is aware) allege that Harvard graduates are more (or for that matter, less) likely than graduates from other universities to violate the law. That wasn't the point at all.

The point Shooter wanted to make was, graduation from a reputable College or University, Ivy league or otherwise, does not mean much when looking into the reputation or work history of a former President. Looking into the work history and/or reputation of a former President would be more valuable.

I heard that the only way Obama was accepted was because of affirmative action.
He didn't have to have the grades or intelligence to get in on his own.

Someone just told me Obama got in as an exchange student.

If you make an assertion it is your responsibility to document it. Pointing out that a Democrat politician here or a Harvard graduate there broke the law means nothing unless it can be demonstrated that that kind of behavior is more frequently found among Democrat politicians than Republican politicians, or that it is more frequently found among Harvard graduates than graduates of other universities.

Teaching at one of the most prestigious universities in the United States is a real job.

Well, but again, Shooter's point wasn't that either Democrat or Republican politicians are the biggest crooks. If you review the posts that led up to your criticism of Shooter's post, you will discover that "Republican" and/or "Democrat" appear first in your post #28, which Shooter is now responding to. Shooter did not allege anything about "Republican" OR "Democrat" and the rascals listed in his link are not identified as "Republican" OR "Democrat".

Don't forget that Shooter is part of the revolution, old boy. He assumes that ALL Politicians are crooks until proven otherwise.

Anyway, Shooter's point was that graduation from a reputable Ivy League school does not automatically give one an automatic "A+" in reputation OR work history. When checking reputation and work history, one must examine reputation and work history, not education.

      Understand?
