We belong to two resorts and enjoy them thoroughly.

 

There's a lot of locations in Oregon if you're interested.

 

My husband and I went to the a nudist colony as a guest one time. It was enjoyable to be nude in front of so many strangers and it was a turn on to husband having them see me nude, but we never went back.

 

But the whole idea is not for sex. Its the feeling, the freedom.

True, but you can't help it if it arouses you, especially the first time you go.

 

Most certainly this is true. I have found many places to get naked without actually going to nudist resort, but I still want to go. For now it's all about the freedom, and being one with nature.

 

I hate clothes but keep that in the comfort of my own room..or my gfs apartment

 

i probably would. not like its some sort of huge decision, but i think it would be fun to do for a summer. imagine the sorts of people you would meet!

Years ago I belonged, and I would guess that a search of Google,, Sunlovers, Nudist parks, etc. each has their own rule.. Singles were limited back when I was active, and probably are now..

I would join a nudist colony... but I don't think my wife would...
however under the right circumstances...I think I could persuade her.

That's impossible. You'd be surprised at how many ugly people go to nudist resorts, and you know what... no one cares. It's not about what you look like, it's about how nudity makes you feel. If you've never experinced that then I highly recomend you do.

The following rules of behavior are typical of what you will encounter at a nudist resort:


DRUG ABUSE
Anyone underage caught drinking alcohol or any individual using illegal controlled substances will be asked to leave the grounds.
Possession and/or use of controlled substances (cocaine, marijuana, etc.) are strictly prohibited.


ALCOHOL ABUSE
Excessive alcohol consumption and/or drunkenness are not tolerated at most nudist resorts.
Alcoholic beverages are sometimes permitted in common areas. Usually no glass containers are allowed on the grounds. Be responsible.
Drink responsibly.


UNWANTED BEHAVIOR
Abusive language, rude, or crude behavior, or advances of an unwelcome or unwanted nature is not acceptable. Avoid loud and aggressive behavior. Your behavior is your passport.
Any behavior or activity that disrupts the harmony and tranquil atmosphere of the club will not be tolerated.
Members and guests are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that would be considered acceptable in most other public gatherings attended by persons of both sexes and all age groups.
Our basic rule is that any behavior which causes others to feel embarrassed or uncomfortable is forbidden. That behavior could include language or actions, unlawful drugs, bringing a camera, or being too "friendly" in a way that causes others to feel defensive.
Be considerate of the rights, safety comfort, and anonymity of others.
Respect the property and privacy of others at all times.


LANGUAGE
Please refrain from sexually explicit language.


PUBLIC AFFECTION
At nudist resorts, no overt sexual activity is permitted. Sexually explicit behavior is unacceptable and could result in loss of membership.
Generally, if it is socially acceptable in a clothed setting, then it is acceptable in a nude setting. Public affection and/or touching among members shall be set to the same standards as acceptable affectionate behavior in a fully clothed public place.
Sexual preference involving consenting adults is an individual's own business if conducted in private. Imposing personal attitudes on others is not acceptable.
[Note: Some resorts observe a 'relaxed' attitude toward sexual behavior. One of the goals of this forum is to help nudists to make informed choices when planning a vacation.]


CHILDREN'S BEHAVIOR
Parents are responsible for the conduct, care and safety of their children at all times. NO CHILD IS TO BE LEFT UNATTENDED. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent.
Remember that children see and hear everything - act accordingly.


PORNOGRAPHY
While nudist publications and literature are usually acceptable, pornographic or sexually explicit material and literature should be viewed in the privacy of your own home.


SWINGERS
Nudist groups are not sex clubs.
If you are not familiar with the nudist lifestyle, you need to be aware of some things that nudist groups don't offer.
1. A nudist group is not a dating service.
2. A nudist group is not a swingers club.
3. Nudist groups do not allow touching between members outside of that which you would reasonably expect to see at a non-nude social gathering.
Don't come looking for sex. You're only going to be disappointed, and if you offend anyone, you will be permanently barred from the activities.


PHOTOGRAPHY
ALWAYS ask permission before taking photographs or videos. At a resort, the manager's permission may be required.
Take photographs only with the full consent of subject(s) or in the case of minors, with permission of parents or legal guardians.


SPEAK UP
Members are encouraged to speak up for these standards of conduct.


SHERIFF
Be polite, especially to rangers and sheriff's deputies. At some time you may require help with legal problems regarding your nudity on public beaches, but your behavior could well jeopardize this help.


TOWEL
All nudist clubs require that you sit on a towel when you are unclothed and want to sit on anything -- such as a chair, the floor, a rock or a picnic bench -- which does not belong to you. Never sit on someone else's towel.


CLOTHING OPTIONAL
If the resort in question is clothing optional, please respect the rights of others who may wish to remain clothed.
Some resorts require nudity whenever weather and personal physical conditions permit.
Textiles (clothes, bathing suits, etc.) are usually not permitted in the pool, hot tub and sauna.


SMOKING
Smoking is often not allowed in the hot tub, pool or sauna. Also, please put your butts in the ashtrays provided around the grounds.
At indoor events ask permission of hosts and those around you. Smoke only in designated areas or go outside.


GLASS CONTAINERS
Glassware (drinking glasses, bottles, etc.) is not permitted in/around the pool & adjacent sun lawn, in/around the hot tub & adjacent deck, or in the sauna.
Please do not eat or drink in the immediate areas around the pool and hot tub.


NO LIFEGUARD
Usually there is no DIVING in the pool. Swimming is at your own risk, since there is no lifeguard on duty.


SHOWER FIRST
A cleansing shower must be taken within a short period prior to each use of the pool, sauna or hot tub.


HORSEPLAY
Running and horseplay in club area is not permitted.


CHILDREN IN HOT TUB
Persons under the age of 18 are often not allowed in the hot tub or sauna.
Infants who are not toilet-trained must wear rubber pants in the pool. Children who are not fully and reliably toilet-trained are not permitted in the hot tub.


RULES POSTED
Observe ALL posted pool, hot tub and other safety notices around the club. Notices may be posted on the bulletin board near the check-in office.


WEAPONS
No weapons are permitted on common grounds.
No firearms are allowed.


PETS
Keep your pets under control; day visitors are often not permitted to bring pets.
All animals shall be leashed at all times and/or confined to your RV or campsite. It is the owner's responsibility to clean up after their pet accidents or otherwise the owner may be charged a fine per incident. Animals are sometimes not allowed in the lodge, showers, game courts, center sunning area, hot tub area, or around any food areas, (unless they are seeing eye or hearing dogs). Please observe common courtesy in regards to your pet(s).
Some resorts prefer that you leave pets at home.


SUGGESTIVE JEWELRY OR CLOTHING
Some resorts prohibit jewelry which draws attention to the genitals. Same with clothing that is sexy, suggestive, see-through or enticing.


PROTECT WILDLIFE
Respect and protect wildlife.
PLEASE - Taking live shells is illegal in some states, so respect this law.
Fires only in provided containers or grills.
Practice basic Naturist ecological ethics concerning removal of one's trash, treatment of fragile dunes, and so forth.


PARKING
Obey parking regulations and all other posted rules.


LITTER
Everyone is expected to help keep common areas clean.
Trash containers can usually be found throughout the property. Please dispose of all trash before leaving. At some resorts, recycle containers are provided for disposal of plastic and glass recyclables.


NUDE AREAS
Don't stray from established nude areas.


SIGN IN
At some resorts, one must sign in daily. Members are responsible for their guests. Please register your guests at the reception area.


REVOCATION OF MEMBERSHIP
Abuse of Guest Privileges and non-payment of Grounds Fees will result in the loss of club membership.
Flagrant violators of these rules of conduct may be subject to expulsion.


RADIOS
As a courtesy to others, please use headphones when using portable entertainment devices (radio, CD player, TV, electronic game, etc.).
