Shooter replied, the 450,000 AMERICAN kids in foster care. 80% of whom are abused, 60% of whom are sexually abused. 20% of whom are never returned to their families or adopted.

Shooter would very much prefer that no child, anywhere, have to experience the pain of being separated from their parents, or grow up in poverty, or have to fear any form of violence.

But when people bring their kids here uninvited, offering nothing to us but more burden on our welfare systems, shooter will have a problem feeling much empathy for them knowing we have 450,000 of our own kids dealing with far worse than "being ripped from their mothers arm and locked in cages".

Because the reality is, when the liberal rhetoric and spin is eliminated, those kids are being treated more humanely and are better protected than American foster kids. Their circumstances are better than they were where they came from and will remain better until they are sent back.

Shooter can make allowance for the froth and rage aimed at trump because most people are clueless about the welfare system in America.

The last thing we need is more rich opportunities to attack Trump. If anything, it would be great for the general welfare, if the Trump administration could somehow stem the flow of constant fuckups.

Claiming that immigrant children in custody are better off than the foster children of citizen drug addicts, child abusers, and the imprisoned, seems a hollow argument, and just another version of the typical conservative principle of "Increase suffering, to effect change." The only purpose of this policy is to inflict anguish on parents and children. The only way a non-sociopathic person could stomach such an action is to accept the delusion that these parents have brought this on themselves and their children. There's nothing new in that.

 

One can respect the Koran without being a Muslim. I study and respect each of the world's great religions, although I respect some more than others. I would like to know the context in which Obama said several times, "The Holy Koran teaches us." I suspect that he was talking to Muslims and wanted to show respect for their religion, even though it is not his. I am confident that Obama is a Christian who was born in the United States.

I am a Christian by birth and practice, although I admit that I cannot prove Christianity to a non believer the way I can prove what is asserted in a multiplication table.

I am an ecumenical Christian, and I love Christianity in all of its variety. I understand and regret religious animosities.

 

Those ILLEGAL immigrant kids are in fact better off than the American foster kids.

And American foster kids being abused while in state care, over half of them sexually, are better off than with their drug addled families?

Maybe.

Are those immigrant kids being abused? Sexually?

No.

Are they at risk of being murdered?

No.

Are they being given better medical care?

Almost certainly.

Are they being used to advance political agendas?

Yes. By both Democrats and Republicans.
