  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

    StanleyOG.

He should check out the different colored plastic sheets...they're kind of like an overhead projector transparency. It may help him and he wouldn't have to focus so hard on reading anything.

Ah ok...I've heard that people with blue eyes are more prone to light sensitivity than other eye colors. I have blue/gray eyes and bright light hurts them, especially florescent lights!! I once had to wear sunglasses in a room that had too many florescent lights in it when I was in teller training school (and yes, I felt really stupid), but the instructor would not turn any of them off when I told her that they were hurting my eyes...the bitch!!! I went to the eye doctor after that and he told me my eyes were sensitive to light. I got glasses with automatic tint in them so whenever I'm out in the sun or in a brightly lit room.

Well Green eyes are the product of low to moderate melanin, just like Blue eyes so it would seem that the light sensitivity would have something to do with that. I get Migraines a LOT on sunny days...bright rooms or while looking at my laptop for a long period of time.

I tried tinted glasses but my optician decided they weren't good for my eyes, because apparently your eyes eventually adjust to the tint in the glasses and when not wearing them it distorts your colour.

So I opted for my glasses to be fitted with a special lens and coating that refracts light keeping the glare out of my eyes. I wore my glasses all day today (really sunny) and managed to keep the migraine at bay...however I think my prescription needs looking at.

I recently looked on a website about migraines and sunlight was mentioned as a common migraine trigger...so can certain foods, computers, noise, and scents along with some other things.

That makes sense...Mine started however when I was in school and a girl who didn't like me very much picked a fight with me...she was pregnant so I refused point blank to hit her....anyway she smashed my head of the stone floor about 35 times before a teacher finally came along and pulled her off....soooo it could be a head trauma thing.

    Types of environmental triggers

    • Weather changes including: temperature changes, extreme heat or extremely cold weather, humidity, barometric pressure changes and storms
    • Odors, pollution and smells including: smog, cigarette smoke, perfumes and chemical odors
    • Lights, such as: bright lights or glaring lights, fluorescent lights, flashing lights or screens
    • High altitude
    • Flying, jet lag, travel or motion
    • Dusty conditions
    • Dry conditions
    • Patterns, including: stripes, checkers or zigzag lines
A 2008 study of 200 migraine sufferers found that 74 percent of female migraine sufferers and 45 percent of males named environmental factors as a migraine trigger. The average sufferer named three environmental factors that led to migraine attacks. In the same study, 35 percent of patients counted smell as a trigger, while 26 percent blamed air conditioning, 14 percent pointed to the sun and 11 percent named cigarette smoke.

I had a head X-Ray to check nothing was fractured...but apart from that...No never had a MRI. The NHS don't like spending money where they don't have too, and tbh up until now i've never really sat down and thought about when all my health problems started...but it all boils down to that one fateful day.

I regret not fighting back...but I didn't wanna harm her unborn child! She clearly by attacking me showed she couldn't give a shit though!

It sounds like you suffered permanent head trauma from a concussion, Carri, and I'm not sure what can be done for that after the fact. But if you keep having problems, personally, I would insist on a medical specialist check it out.

I frequent my doctors often...I have a stomach condition which has been ongoing for 4 nearly 5 years and the doctors and team of specialists i've been to see are still none the wiser about what it is that is causing my pain....

I however did watch a program today and a young girl had the same complaints and it was something to do with the bile in her duodenum passing into the stomach acid and reacting with it...this happened because she (like me) suffered with bulimia and as a result had weakened her valve in her stomach.

So I gotta run off to my doctors and demand a camera be shoved into my stomach to check for problems...because I am SICK of necking Tramadol, Codine and all manner of other painkillers that are no doubt going to make me worse in the long run

    Rant over :p

My friend got me watching the show last year so I've been watching the new season online. Just watched that episode, thought it was decent.

    Lol I'd say that's a possibility.

Mine started after a head injury too..

I love the way Bill says Sookie. It makes me laugh every time I hear it. "Sookie" "Sookie" I can even hear it when I type it. It just sounds ridiculous and that makes it funny.

    That show is great really.

I really enjoyed the first two seasons a lot, but for me, the third one took a long time to get going and has been my least favorite so far. The first 3 episodes of this season have all been good so I have high hopes.

Agreed. It's hard for shows to not become like that though. They all end up going away from what made them great and doing "inside joke" type of episodes.. cheesy shit, etc. Even Rescue Me did last year.

Haven't seen this season yet. Need to update myself :p
