The "T" gets changed to a "D" so, for example.. if you are trying to say "laughing at you", you should be saying "laughing adyu". If you are trying to say "With you" it is not "witchu" or "with chu" or any of that. It is "widyu".

A person who desperately needs money from the tourism department No really.. well let's see... There's lots of history, lots of culture (though the fucking hipsters sure don't seem to be helping it), authentic food from plenty of different heritages, great sports town, strip clubs, decent nightlife, and it's not just Philly either. Every area around Philly has plenty to offer when it comes to history, authentic food, etc. Right now, there should be a summer league going with pro players up in Aston I believe... unless they cancelled it due to the NBA lockout. There's the Delco league if semi-pro baseball is your thing. The only problem is that some of the more rough areas are the ones with the most to offer so you basically just need to know where to go and when to go there.

Plus, there's a ton of "real" dudes, the type you go for, without the bullshit on the side... if you're looking to hook up or meet people or whatever. You just have to know where to go to find them.

Oh and there's a lot of great local music, including a very underrated underground hip hop scene.
