At the risk of inflicting another English lessons, a claim of mitigating circumstances is an admission of guilt, accompanied by a request for a lesser punishment.

 

Mitigation does not excuse the guilt it merely explains it and believe me I punished myself enough!

I have always felt Dirty old men were the real scum bags of the sexual predator world. As far as the cheating part goes, there are many people out there that have managed to get away with a little fun for a short time or even a long time. But the longer you go the higher the risk. There are some dead give aways too, like an STD (now often called STI).
I had a short term affair on the ex and she never knew and it was 10 years later that she ended it because she was having an affair but could not stop.
So we can't tell you what to do, just use the written word to try to push you one direction or another.

It is perfectly fine to be attracted to younger women so long as they are above age of consent. A 22 year old can make her own decisions. A man would have to be nearly dead to not be attracted.
