Pelosi unveils bill to create commission on President’s fitness for office using 25th Amendment

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has introduced new legislation to officially evaluate the President Trump’s fitness for office. On Friday, she announced a bill that would introduce the Commission on Presidential Capacity to Discharge the Powers and Duties of Office to determine if the President is “physically and mentally” fit to continue serving in office.

During a press conference alongside Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.), Pelosi stated the bill would set up a 16 member bipartisan panel of doctors and former administration officials to conduct a medical examination of President Trump.

Pelosi has claimed the bill has nothing to do with the President.

“This legislation applies to future presidents, but we are reminded by the necessities of the action by the health of the current President,” she said.

Her remarks came just one day after she accused President Trump of being in an “altered state” from his coronavirus treatment.

This latest move by Democrats came despite the professional opinion of White House physician Dr. Sean Conley, who recently confirmed the President has completed his coronavirus treatment and should be ready to hit the campaign trail again soon.

Meanwhile, President Trump has railed against the House speaker, calling her “crazy” and a “nut job.” He suggested “we can say it nicely or we can say it badly” that Joe Biden is in no condition to be a presidential candidate.

However, the new legislation will likely never see the light of day, especially since the House is out of session until after the election. Even if House Democrats were able to make use of the 25th Amendment, it is very unlikely Pelosi will succeed in accomplishing her goal.

President Trump can only be removed from office involuntarily if his cabinet or vice president votes to remove him, if 2/3 of both the House and Senate vote to remove him, or Pelosi’s way under Section Four, which would impanel a commission to decide if the President is fit to carry out his duties.

However, even if the House passes the bill to set up the commission, it will be dead on arrival in the Republican controlled Senate, just like the Democrats’ earlier impeachment attempt.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats recognize that Trump is mentally ill and a clear and present danger to the entire world.

And they never anticipated a time when both a president and WH doctors would withhold information and lie.

So there has to be a better way.

    Well, lets review.
    Since butthurt despicables realized their man(woman) had the throne pulled out from under her by a pompous gas bag, they have tried many things to unseat President Trump;

    1) Initiated an investigation into Trump/Russian collusion based on a bogus Steele dossier that violated the prohibition against foreign investment in our elections. It failed.
    2) Called for the dismantling/neutering of the electoral college. It failed.
    3) Attempted to impeach President Trump and remove him from office based on "obstruction of congress". It failed.
    4) Demonized and lied about this president at every opportunity, many of those opportunities created by butthurt despicables. It failed. In fact, it has come back to bite despicables right in the ass.
    5) Politicized and weaponized Covid to attack the President. It failed.
    6) Politicized and weaponized the death of black suspects at the hands of police, blaming the president. It failed.
    7) And now we see that Nancy Antoinette will apparently attempt to recall the president through the 25th amendment.

Here's the thing. If President Trump wins reelection, the only way Nancy Antoinette's latest scheme will have a prayer of working is if despicables manage to keep the House and take the Senate. And even at that, she'll need a 2/3 majority to make it veto proof, and that is highly doubtful. Simply, the bitch is disconnected from reality and keeps throwing out these goofy schemes that have no hope of success.

If the despicables had spent the last four years coming up with a better candidate than Trump there would be nothing the president could do about it. The election would take place, he would be voted out, and whoever the despicables came up with would take Trump's place. Instead, they spent the last four years pulling every dirty political trick and scheme known, and some new ones, trying to unseat this president.
    They have failed.
The American voting public are not quite as stupid as despicables seem to think they are. The question becomes why it is that despicables have so little faith in the election process, and in Americans, to make the right choice.

Rep. Doug Collins introduces resolution to push for Pelosi removal as House speaker
'Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s unwillingness to abide by the Constitution, combined with her recent actions, call into question her own mental fitness,' Collins said

By Brooke Singman | Fox News

Rep. Doug Collins on Monday introduced a resolution to push for the removal of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, claiming she “does not have the mental fitness” to lead the House of Representatives.

“Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s unwillingness to abide by the Constitution, combined with her recent actions, call into question her own mental fitness, which is why it’s critical that the House of Representatives demand her removal from the line of succession,” Collins said in a statement to Fox News.

A draft of Collins’ resolution, obtained by Fox News, argues that Pelosi “is unable to adequately serve as Speaker of the House of Representatives and should therefore be removed from her position.”

The resolution states that Pelosi “has spent the majority of the House of Representative’s time pursuing baseless and fruitless investigations” against President Trump and his administration, including launching an impeachment inquiry against him in the fall of 2019.

The resolution continues: “On October 31, 2019, Speaker Nancy Pelosi oversaw the first party-line vote to begin an impeachment inquiry into a president in the history of our country.”

    [IMG]Video
The House of Representatives, in December, voted to adopt two articles of impeachment against the president: abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.

At the center of the inquiry was Trump’s efforts to press Ukraine to launch politically related investigations — regarding former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter’s dealings in Ukraine, as well as issues related to the 2016 presidential election.

The president’s request came after millions of dollars in U.S. military aid to Ukraine had been frozen, which Democrats argue shows a “quid pro quo” arrangement. Trump has denied any wrongdoing.

The president was acquitted on both articles of impeachment by the Senate in February.

But Collins' resolution also states that Pelosi “ripped up the State of the Union speech” delivered by the president in February “before the American people," referencing when Pelosi tore her printed copy of the speech immediately after Trump wrapped his remarks at the 2020 State of the Union.

    [IMG]Video
The resolution also states that Pelosi “visited a shuttered hair salon in San Francisco where she received a blow-out without wearing a mask in violation of San Francisco’s laws concerning the coronavirus;” and “cast blame on the salon’s owner for ‘setting her up.’” Fox News first reported last month that Pelosi visited a San Francisco hair salon for a wash and blowout, despite local ordinances keeping salons closed amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“Over her tenure of her speakership, Speaker Nancy Pelosi has started to demonstrate a decline in mental fitness, calling into question her ability to adequately serve the House of Representatives and the American people,” the resolution states. Collins’ resolution referenced an interview on ABC News, saying Pelosi “appeared confused and exhibited bizarre behavior” by “blurting out randomly ‘Good Morning, Sunday morning.’”

During the interview, Pelosi's answer to a question seemed disjointed, saying: "Good morning, Sunday morning."

A spokesman for Pelosi did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment on the Collins resolution.

Collins' resolution comes after Pelosi, last week, announced legislation to create a commission that would allow Congress to oust a president from office, using the 25th Amendment, just a day after she accused President Trump of being “in an altered state” from his coronavirus treatment.

“This is not about President Trump,” Pelosi said Friday. “He will face the judgment of the voters. But he shows the need for us to create a process for future presidents.”

Pelosi denied that the timing of the legislation had anything to do with the election and argued that setting up a commission on presidential capacity is needed to "give some comfort to people" on the stability of the government.

Under the 25th Amendment, Congress, the cabinet and vice president can strip powers from a president if for some reason he or she is declared unfit under dire circumstances. But that requires a 2/3 vote of both houses.

Section 4 of the 25th Amendment also states that a majority of “such other body as Congress may by law" determine if the president cannot discharge the powers and duties of his office. The 25th Amendment was ratified in 1967, and Rep. Jamie Raksin, D-Md., who appeared with Pelosi last week, said it's time for Congress to set up this “body.”

Raskin's bill, which would have to be passed by both chambers of Congress and signed by the president, would set up “the Commission on Presidential Capacity to Discharge the Powers and Duties of the Office.”

The 17 members of the bipartisan commission would work with the vice president to determine whether the president is “unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office” due to physical or mental incapacity. Prospectively, that commission would adjudicate the need for a transfer of power.

While such a bill may pass the Democrat-controlled House, it would seem extremely unlikely to pass the Republican-held Senate unless there was a significant development in Trump’s health. However, it introduces a new political narrative just weeks before Election Day.

Pelosi was asked Friday if she thought Trump has met the threshold for the 25th Amendment to be invoked.

"That’s not for us to decide," she said.

Wow - did anybody else see Nancy blow the fuck up at Wolf Blitzer (in what seemed to be a rare 'out of lock-step' moment) asking Nancy about blocking the current bill for COVID relief spending?

Wolf is a tool of the Left, but even an innocent question was met with venom from Queen Nancy - accusing Fucking Wolf Blitzer of being an "Apologist... for the Republican position".

Nope no link for the time wasting Libtards - look it up yourself, even though I'm sure you saw it.

Call it a lie - who fucking cares, assholes?

    * Ok there are bonus laugh points to this one I will get to later.

But for now Oh thank you Moscow Mitch from the bottoms of our liberal/progressive/Democratic hearts.

And I fully suspect that Moscow Mitch is on some kind of political suicide mission. He tried to laugh his way through his debate with Amy McGrath and it went viral wondering what he thought was so funny about 217,000 dead Americans. And then why he would stick his neck so far out of his shell on this one looks like he's trying to get it chopped off.

McConnell shoots down $1.8 trillion coronavirus deal, breaking with Trump

*The bonus laughs is this is another House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's kicks right in Wolf Blitzer's teeth when they got into it on CNN the other day. She told him she wasn't holding up shit because it was the Republicans in the Senate that were deadlocked and Moscow Mitch couldn't even bring a bill to the floor. And Moscow Mitch just proved every bit of that. And the bill he claims he's bringing to the floor now is a fucking insult to the American people.

**There has been a Republican feud going on in the Senate that has paralyzed Moscow Mitch ever since Pelosi sent their stimulus package to the Senate in May. Its actually a very small number but if Moscow Mitch wants to pass something with only Republican votes they are enough to stop him. While actually Moscow Mitch could put Pelosi's stimulus package on the Senate floor right now and pass it with bipartisan votes. But instead Moscow Mitch remains paralyzed and desperate Americans see him and the Republicans for what they are.

A comment on the stimulus bill drama.

Whether held up by despicables or deplorables, the fact that $TRILLION vote buying schemes are not passing is a good thing.

    Howls that people are in desperate need and WE MUST PASS THIS STIMULUS begs the question;

How ya gonna pay for it?
