      Oh it will happen T1, time stops for nobody. Forget politics and just keep contributing to your retirement plan. When it happens, you might not be rich but you'll be okay if you're debt free. Debt free, social Security and even a small IRA, you'll live comfortable and not be so rich that you're taxed heavily.

      Or, you might retire someday and you'll find out that Social Security doesn't cover all the bills and leave any extra for anything else.

      Best thing you can do is go talk to one of those financial people at Ed Jones, or Fidelity or one of those outfits.

      Doesn't cost anything, they should do a financial planner thingy for you that will look at where you're at, where you want to be, and when and then a plan to get there. Painless. Eye opening. You aren't obligated, in fact, Shooter suggests you go to several of them and hear what they say; it'll be pretty much the same thing if you give them the same information, assuming they're legitimate.

      Then you can decide; save a little bit now so I can afford all the dope and medications I want later, or spend it all now and eat cat food in my old age.

      Your choice.

    Democrat Joe Biden is now leading President Donald Trump in the battleground state of Georgia.

    By Friday morning, Biden overtook Trump in the number of ballots counted in the battleground, a must-win state for Trump that has long been a Republican stronghold. Biden now has a 917-vote advantage.

    The contest is still too early for The Associated Press to call. Thousands of ballots are still left to be counted — many in counties where the former vice president was in the lead.


    An AP analysis showed that Biden’s vote margins grew as counties processed mail ballots cast in his favor.

    There is a potential that the race could go to a recount. Under Georgia law, if the margin between Biden and Trump is under half a percentage point of difference, a recount can be requested.
