Look at them all packed in close. I see lots of MAGA hats, but no face masks.

Trump tells his cult followers "Real men don't wear face masks." I doubt Trumpers eat quiche. They eat lots of red meat and get heart attacks and strokes.

Four years. Over 1,400 days. Nefarious plot after nefarious plot fails to get Trump.
They've had all that time to come up with someone who can beat Trump.
      Its a low bar.
But no matter what, they're gonna need a bunch of people who voted for Trump in 2016 to vote for Biden in 2020.

And whats their strategy to get them?
Call them stupid, and cult followers and gaping hinds in flyover country.

And still they wonder, how did Trump ever beat us?

AP FACT CHECK: Trump fabricates election corruption

By CALVIN WOODWARD and MARYCLAIRE DALE
    Yesterday

WASHINGTON (AP) — Citing “horror stories,” President Donald Trump unleashed a torrent of fabricated accusations Thursday in an audacious attempt to undermine the legitimacy of the U.S. election.

Standing behind the presidential seal, Trump used a White House setting symbolizing the power of his office to assail an election he portrayed as rife with fraud and corruption. One allegation after another had no basis in fact, such as his accusation that election officials in Pennsylvania and Detroit tried to ban election observers from polling stations.

A look at his remarks, coming as Democrat Joe Biden made progress toward the electoral votes needed to claim the presidency.

TRUMP: “We’re hearing stories that are horror stories. ... We think there is going to be a lot of litigation because we have so much evidence and so much proof.”

THE FACTS: Trump has produced no evidence of systemic problems in voting or counting. In fact, the ballot-counting process across the country has been running smoothly for the most part, even with the U.S. in the throes of the coronavirus pandemic.

One of his main complaints, that counting spilled over past Election Day, is meritless. No presidential election has had all the votes counted the same day, and there is no law or even expectation that that should be the case. The surge in mailed ballots and the high turnout have made the process slower than usual in some, but not all, cases.

    ___

    PENNSYLVANIA

TRUMP: “In Pennsylvania partisan Democrats have allowed ballots in the state to be received three days after the election and we think much more than that and they are counting those without any postmarks or any identification whatsoever.”

THE FACTS: “Partisan Democrats” didn't ordain this. It was the state Supreme Court that ruled ballots mailed before the end of Election Day could be received up to three days later and still be counted. The U.S. Supreme Court examined the case and did not stand in the way of the three-day timeframe. It may review the matter again later.

A number of other states have also made accommodations for the crush of mailed ballots.

    ___

TRUMP: “Pennsylvania Democrats have gone to the state Supreme Court to try and ban our election observers. ... They don’t want anybody in there. They don’t want anybody watching them while they are counting the ballots.”

THE FACTS: That’s false. He is wholly misrepresenting a court case in the state. No one tried to ban poll watchers representing each side in the election. Democrats did not try to stop Republican representatives from being able to observe the process.

The main issue in the case was how close observers representing the parties could get to election workers who are processing mail-in ballots in Philadelphia. The Trump campaign sued to allow the observers to get closer than the guidelines had allowed. A court ruled in favor of that request.

    ___

    MICHIGAN

TRUMP: “Our campaign has been denied access to observe any counting in Detroit.”

    THE FACTS: That’s false.

Absentee ballots were counted at a downtown convention center, where some 134 counting boards were set up. Each party was allowed one poll watcher per board, said City Clerk Janice Winfrey.

She said she was not aware of any Republican poll watchers being removed but noted some had been “very aggressive, trying to intimidate the poll workers and processors.”

Mark Brewer, former chairman of the Michigan Democratic Party, said he was inside the convention center and access was cut off to some people from both sides at one point because of capacity restrictions related to the pandemic.

    ___

    GEORGIA

TRUMP: “The election apparatus in Georgia is run by Democrats.”

THE FACTS: No, the state’s elections are overseen by a Republican, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.

    ___

TRUMP: “The 11th Circuit ruled that in Georgia the votes have to be in by Election Day, that they should be in by Election Day. And they weren’t. Votes are coming in after Election Day.”

THE FACTS: That’s not an accurate description of the ruling in question or what happened in the election in Georgia.

Although the court ruled that votes must be in by 7 p.m. Election Day for them to count, an exception was made for ballots from the members of U.S. Military serving overseas. Those can be received until 5 p.m. Friday and still count. Election officials in Georgia are still counting votes, but they are votes that have been lawfully received.

    ___

    ‘ILLEGAL’ VOTES

TRUMP: “If you count the legal votes, I easily win. if you count the illegal votes, they can try to steal the election from us.”

    THE FACTS: This is baseless.

Neither Trump’s campaign aides nor election officials have identified substantial numbers of “illegal” votes, much less the mammoth numbers it would take to ruin an easy win by Trump. He frequently speaks as if mail-in voting itself is illegitimate. But it unfolded in accordance with state voting rules, in some cases adapted by officials to help voters get through the pandemic safely.

    ___

TRUMP, complaining that underhanded activity sapped his leads in important races: “We were winning all the key locations, by a lot actually.”

THE FACTS: The change in fortunes he speaks about is explained by the nature of vote counting in the states, not by any sudden surge of malfeasance that others have not seen.

Often, big cities are slower to report their numbers, and those votes tend skew Democratic. Likewise, many states tend to count mail-in ballots at the end of the process. That portion of the vote has tended to favor Biden, particularly because Trump urged his supporters in advance to avoid mail-in voting and to vote in person either early or on Election Day.

Trump finished election night with leads in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin and Georgia, among the states most in play, then saw his advantage begin to fray Wednesday and past that. Biden won Wisconsin and Michigan; Georgia and Pennsylvania can’t yet be called.

tRumps campaign is broke and cannot afford to challenge the election so his comments mean nothing at this point other than that is a sign of his desperation because he knows that he will soon be charged for the crimes he has committed.

Trump may have broken his own record for most dangerous lies in one speech

In 16 minutes, the liar-in-chief offered a downright dishonest take on the election that risked inciting violence

It seemed like a desperate last stand from a fearful strongman who can feel power slipping inexorably away.

The US president on Thursday returned to the White House briefing room, scene of past triumphs such as that time he proposed bleach as a cure for coronavirus and that other time he condemned QAnon with the words “They like me”.

Trump offered a downright dangerous and dishonest take on this week’s election that current vote counting trends suggest he will lose. It was possibly an attempt to intimidate and deter TV networks from declaring a winner in the next few hours.

It also risked inciting protests and violence from supporters encouraged to view Joe Biden as an illegitimate president-elect.

Sombre and downbeat, Trump made false claims from a prepared statement ( is that better or worse than ad-libbing lies?)

“If you count the legal votes, I easily win,” he said with a straight face. “If you count the illegal votes, they can try to steal the election from us. If you count the votes that came in late – we’re looking at them very strongly, a lot of votes came in late.”

It was a bold, dramatic claim with massive implications and absolutely no foundation.

Having often dismissed the significance of Vladmir Putin’s hackers’ meddling four years ago, Trump implied that opinion polls are a more sinister threat.

“Media polling was election interference, in the truest sense of that word by powerful special interests,” he said. “These really phony polls ... were designed to keep our voters at home, create the illusion of momentum for Mr Biden and diminish Republicans’ ability to raise funds. They were what’s called suppression polls.”

Chris Murphy, a Democratic senator from Connecticut, tweeted: “This is just extraordinary. It’s a lie every 5 second. Not small lies either. Just nuclear grade whoppers.”

The president went on to throw in some racism for good measure, targeting Philadelphia and Detroit, both African American majority cities in the battlegrounds Pennsylvania and Michigan respectively.

“They’re trying to rig an election, and we can’t let that happen,” he said. “Detroit and Philadelphia – known as two of the most corrupt political places anywhere in our country.”

The man who, during his property developing career, perfected the dark art of “truthful hyperbole” sounded a wholly unrealistic note. “We think we will win the election very easily.

“We think there’s going to be a lot of litigation because we have so much evidence, so much proof, and it’s going to end up perhaps at the highest court in the land … We can’t have an election stolen like this.”

In a circular argument, he claimed he had predicted this debacle all along: in effect, his old lies were proof of his new ones. Gesturing towards the press, he said: “I have been talking about this for many months with all of you and I’ve said very strongly that mail-in ballots are going to be a disaster ... We’re hearing stories that are horror stories.”

He was done after 16 minutes and walked from the podium, ignoring a loud barrage of questions. To the simplest of all, “where’s the evidence?”, he clearly had no answer.

No one can accuse Trump of failing to rise to the big occasion. This was a record-breaking performance by the liar-in-chief. Daniel Dale, a factchecker at CNN, wrote on Twitter: “I’ve read or watched all of Trump’s speeches since 2016. This is the most dishonest speech he has ever given.”

Perhaps the bogus claims of fraud will eventually allow Trump to quietly slip away while saving face, contending that he would have won re-election but for cheating establishment forces beyond his control.

He used to promise his supporters: we’re going to win so much, you’ll be sick and tired of winning. Not half as much as he is unable to contemplate the reality of losing.

Trump fundraiser emails for legal challenges would also pay down campaign debt, fine print says
    WWW.USATODAY.COM | NOV 8, 7:33 PM

Many workers tallying election day ballots say there were many eyes on the vote count and no evidence of fraud. (Nov. 6)

In the Trump campaign's latest push to raise money for its "election defense" fund, at least half of any donation could go toward paying down debt for the president's campaign, according to the fine print.

The Trump campaign has mounted legal challenges in several battleground states that show Democratic challenger Joe Biden ahead as votes continue to be tallied in the tightly contested presidential race, including Michigan, Pennsylvania and Georgia.

Over the last four days, the Trump campaign as well as the Republican National Committee have sent a flurry of text messages and emails urging supporters to contribute to the president's court challenges.

"President Trump is FIGHTING BACK to defend the integrity of this Election, but he can't do it alone," one email reads. "He needs YOU to step up and join him by contributing to our critical Election Defense Fund."

But a disclaimer on the website states that 50% of any donation will go toward the campaign's general election debt retirement and the other half toward the campaign's recount account, the Wall Street Journal first reported.

A separate fundraising effort by the "Trump Make America Great Again Committee" states that 60% of contributions will go toward campaign debt while 40% goes to the RNC.

Republican Party election monitor says she was "impressed" with what she saw in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania and it seemed "methodical" and "very organized." (Nov. 6)

Joe Biden's campaign has also launched a fundraising effort in anticipation of a drawn-out legal battle. While the fine print does not include any disclaimer about retiring campaign debt, it does indicate that a portion of the donation would go toward the Democratic National Committee and the remainder would benefit the former vice president's recount account.

USA TODAY has reached out to both campaigns for comment. The RNC and DNC typically play a key role in the supporting election litigation efforts.

    Huh.
So, if we give money to Trump he'll use it to fund legal challenges and pay down his campaign debt, and maybe some to the RNC..
And if we give money to Biden it will go to defending the election count and to the DNC.

    What shocking news!!

Trump supporter files restraining order against neighbours who celebrated Biden win

    Graeme Massie
    Wed, November 11, 2020, 5:45 PM CST

A Trump supporter filed a restraining order against his neighbours who he claims taunted him over Joe Biden’s election win.

Michael Mason says he took legal action after being “harassed” by his Democratic supporting neighbours who he says mocked him over Trump’s loss.

Mr Mason filed a restraining order to have the neighbours stay 100 feet away from his home after Mr Biden became the president-elect.

And he says he even called the police after the neighbouring children chanted about Mr Biden’s win to upset his own children, according to CBS13.

“I didn’t want to do this. They’re making me have to do this,” said Mr Mason.

“I’m tired of getting harassed all the time,” Mason said.

“My kids don’t want to come outside.”

Mr Mason also says the neighbours wrote “BLM” and “LGBTQ” in chalk on the pavement outside his home.

“I went down there and asked them, ‘Well, why didn’t you write this in front of your house, or anybody else’s house? Why mine?’ And they just laughed at me,” he said.

Sean Millard lives between the politically warring homes.

“It’s absolutely insane. 2020 has been kind of a crazy year,” said Mr Millard.

And to think that they got off trying to label the left as the snow flakes when reality is that the only snowflakes are themselves.

I am not clicking any link I am not familiar with but Rutte is not a politician I would vote for but I think he is an outstanding prime minister of the Netherlands.......and I can confirm he does not spend time pretending to be a gay black man.

He is too busy doing an excellent job of running the country.

We do have a Christian Union minister who needs firing though.

By the way the VVD (liberals) are the conservative centre right party here. Perhaps you should spend some time getting familiar with someone you are going to defame instead of just google searching and posting the first link that suits your rhetoric!

    Try again perhaps!
