So then, what you're saying, @stumbler is that the Iowa election of Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks's over Democrat Rita Hart in the state's 2nd Congressional District was free, fair, and secure?

.@tedcruz, you are full of it. Gun safety is not about making it harder for law abiding citizens to own firearms and repeating the lie wont make it true. It is about making it harder for those who intend harm to themselves or others to have the ability to do so.

Worthy goals have costs. Avoiding those costs has greater costs. If we do nothing to arrest global warming the result will be a less livable planet. Our descendants generations from now will not forgive our inaction. Arresting global warming costs less economic growth, higher prices, and higher taxes to develop environmentally benign sources of energy. It will be awhile before green sources of energy are cost effective and profitable. Arresting global warming also requires restrictions on national soverignty.
