I have a sort of delayed emotional response to things that are upsetting. Aperger's, you know, makes things difficult for me to process emotions.

It's really hitting me hard that, some people that I've come to care for a great deal, are no longer moderators. I don't think I really let them all know how I felt. I want to thank them for all the effort they've put in. It's such a thankless job and they did it without ever letting it go to their head. (Except that one rogue guy that deleted threads and banned people like crazy, remember that? Fun times.).

So you ex-mods may stick around, or you might leave, but whatever happens, this forum is not going to be the same without you as mods.

What's your game, Nophest? What's happening, what has prompted these changes?

This is really upsetting for me. I hate change. I can say it upsets me but I think at the core change frightens me on some level.

The future is cloudy and foreboding.

 

Change is difficult for a lot of us to process. We all knew it was coming from Nophest's announcement and help-wanted ad. We just didn't know when, and the three ladies who didn't quit didn't think they'd just wake up one morning as ex-mods. Oh well, excrement occurs.

I, for one, plan to stick around, unless I say something dumb and get my ass banned. Being the cynic I am, I have morbid curiosity about what comes next.

You have been one of the staples here and my friend for a very long time. You are wise beyond your years and I'm amazed at everything you have endured in your personal life. Young man, I have such confidence in you and if we can cope (albeit not as well as most) you will too. We're still here. Just reach out to any one of us whenever you need to.

 

You expect Nophest to answer? ...... Think about that........ He doesn't even answer all his e-mails or PM's.

I try to have the attitude that whatever happens is for my highest good. I hold that for everyone else too. If for some reason this sites folds then it was meant to be and another door will open somewhere else just like when you leave a job or partner. We are always in the right place at the right time. Trust the process of the universe. The more you can learn to roll with changes the easier life will be for you. Nothing absolutely nothing stays the same forever. Count your blessings and enjoy the memories that you had the fulfillment or what this site gave you and embrace change as maybe things will get better, maybe stay the same.... You never know what lies ahead and it is not always negative. Where there is fear there is lack of joy so chose wisely what you focus on.

That would be funny for a mod to break the rules and get banned.

 

If threads can get moved when they shouldn't be moved, then members can be banned for doing nothing wrong.

Twat was something I used to use on other sites. I said it once here when I was knew and everyone sort of came down on me and said it was Richies. Okay so be it I let it go and stopped saying it although it was part of my online habit.

After writing just sayin' a few times people started to copy and said it now and then. What's his name that dupus idiot used it in his signature as soon as he read my post. Now it is commonly used left right and center and I never ever got any credit nope everyone just copied and couldn't come up with their own original thoughts or phrases or say hey that's Brandi's.

Being new to this site, I know not of the changes that occurred before I joined, I do find erotica my most enjoyable form of porn. Running a site like this must be a daunting task you do to a certain amount expect the members to police themselves...yet I read many exceptions, under age stories, hateful Comments...ect.

Yes if you read something that is against the rules, especially if it's something like finding out someone is underaged, or posting personal information like phone numbers or addresses, things like that, then you simply must report them. Other things against the rules too, of course, but the two I mentioned are the most important, in my opinion.
