A software modification was installed that had been inadequately tested. Guaranteed.

 

A minor inconvenience for regular users that may help in the long run.

 

I just created a new story, which I was then going to edit. Initially I saved to edit, then when I went in and made some changes, I saw it was again only offering "Publish". So, I just closed out - didn't submit at all.

A day or so later - the story is now published and live...

Pretty frustrating as I wasn't ready for it to go live... only good thing being - it's got reasonable ratings so far :}

 

Fingers crossed it'll let me in soon too XD

Need advice on a rejected story. I've posted and had approved the first two parts of my story and there was no problem. On the third part, which I posted last week, it came back as rejected for underage. Part 3 has the same characters, plus one new character who is introduced whose the same age as the first character in the story. It's never even hinted that the two girls in the story are underage or in middle school because they aren't. I've set up quite specifically that they're in high school, one, maybe two years from graduation. Do different story moderators have different criteria for approving stories? Because I can't figure out why, if it's clearly stated they're in high school, they're the same age, and the first two parts were approved, the third installment gets rejected. I've sent an email to the stories@ email address asking for a review of the decision but I don't know what to expect. To have the first two parts approved and then this next one rejected seems totally arbitrary.

 

Forum post requirement to log in is literally not a constructive change in any way. Surely you must see that by now unless you've been on vacation for the past week and haven't seen literally everyone complaining about it.

 

Are stories actually moderated then or like commented are the screened automatically for buzz words and then rejected. Understand hundreds to be read but can’t be an easy system. I’ve fortunately not had any problems with rejected stories

The fact that we need to create an almost new profile after years of use is a major pain. We can't see any of the stories we posted or saved.

 

I agree, Deniss. This recently came up for me because I saw two stories on this site that looked very familiar and, sure enough, were posted elsewhere a while ago, so I wanted to PM the author if they were the same person.

 

You shouldn’t need to create a new profile, unless your previous one was banned for some reason.

with your old ID login here at the forum and post six times, then in a day or so when your ID is validated you can login as always on sexstories.com and your old stuff will be there.

Hi guys, that underage algorithm is no doubt we'll intended but flawed. I've had two stories rejected for mentioning the age in which the protagonists meet earlier in their lives. A kinda childhood sweetheart kinda thing. I understand you can't possibly read all the stories for kiddie stuff but maybe you can put submit for appeal option for rejected stories as an option?

Some stories are just innocently trying to explain their relationship.. Hell you can't even say something happened 5 years ago without getting rejected

 

I’ve used a submit with appeal option before. I know write around it so as not to tie things up but there was a way to resubmit and enter an explanation

 

Amen to this comment. Was hell getting my first 5 stories to go live. None of the characters are under 18 but there were references to when they were younger (non sexual). Took almost a month to get them approved. Yes need to keep the kid stuff out, but need a better system to do it.

 

I don't know why it only just affected me but I just now for the first time had a Sign In rejected on the stories site for not having six post on the forum here. Not like I'm posting stories but I want to access my favorites, etc. that I previously accumulated.
