An extremist group that includes former U.S. Marines were hit with a third superseding indictment, the Department of Justice announced on Friday.

"Today, Paul James Kryscuk, 35, Liam Collins, 21, Jordan Duncan, 26, and Joseph Maurino, 22, were charged via a third superseding indictment obtained in the Eastern District of North Carolina. Collins and Duncan are former Marines assigned previously to Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, North Carolina. The defendants are charged with conspiracy to damage the property of an energy facility in the United States," prosecutors announced.

Members of the group were previously charged for a gun-running scheme to create a "modern day SS."

"The defendants have also been charged, in previous indictments, with conspiring to manufacture, transport, and sell hard to obtain firearms and firearm parts in a manner that would hide these purchases from the federal government," prosecutors explained. "The previous indictments allege that Collins and Kryscuk were members of and made multiple posts on the 'Iron March' forum, a gathering point for young neo-Nazis to organize and recruit for extremist organizations, until the forum was closed in late 2017. Collins and Kryscuk met through the forum and expanded their group using an encrypted messaging application as an alternate means of communication outside of the forum. Collins and Kryscuk recruited additional members, including Duncan, Hermanson, and Maurino, and conducted training, including a live-fire training in the desert near Boise."

Prosecutors recovered video evidence showing members of the group giving the "Heil Hitler" sign under a Nazi symbol.

The investigation is being conducted by the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Boise Police Department, the United States Postal Inspection Service (USPIS), Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF), and federal prosecutors in North Carolina, Idaho, New Jersey, New York and Rhode Island.

A quick google search reveals the other side of the story.

It seems the Proud Boys were engaged in a peaceful protest at waterfront park, and Antifa showed up and started some shit.
Proud boys moved to another location and were pursued by Antifa rioters who carried all manner of weapons, like bats, and paint guns and mace.
The van at issue crashed into the peaceful proud boys protest and the driver started macing the unarmed and non violent proud boys, at which point the proud boys ran the aggressor off and destroyed his ride.
Shots were fired, whether started by proud boys or antifa isn't clear from the reports.

Now, full disclosure; Shooter hasn't even tried to confirm any reports of what happened except to note that most accounts (other than from wrong story, MSNBC etc.) are that Anitfa got things started with their interference of a peaceful proud boys protest and seemed to be more the aggressors than proud boys.

But of course, political leaning will determine which version of events one believes.

California cops searching for hit and run driver accused of 'intentionally' sideswiping vaccine worker: report

According to a report from the Mercury News, police in Newhall -- a community in Santa Clarita, California -- are searching for a driver accused of hitting a health care worker with their car before speeding off.

The incident happened on Saturday, with Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department adding that the vehicular attack that also knocked over some displays appears to have been "intentional."

The Mercury News reports, "A motive for the apparent attack, which involved the driver hitting the worker with the car's side mirror at the clinic at a Los Angeles County facility on Market Street at around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday," adding, "No one else was hurt during the incident. The worker who was hit was left with minor injuries and declined to be taken to a hospital."

"Vaccination clinics, especially large facilities in Los Angeles, have been the site of protests from anti-vaccination activists spreading misinformation about the efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines," the report states. "An anti-vaccination protest in Downtown L.A. outside of City Hall last week saw violence between anti-vaccine activists and counter-protesters, with at least one man being stabbed."

Police state that the vehicle was described as a grey sedan with no description given of the driver.

Boogaloo militia member pleads guilty to destroying evidence: report

Robert Jesus Blancas, one of four "Boogaloo" militia members, pleaded guilty Monday in a virtual hearing from Santa Rita Jail in Alameda County, reported the Courthouse News Service.

Blancas declared that he was guilty of destroying evidence to obstruct an investigation into the fatal shooting of a police officer at the Oakland courthouse.

Wearing a red jumpsuit, Blancas admitted to conspiring to destroy evidence by deleting group chats and other messages with the "Grizzly Scouts" militia group. Fellow militia member, former Air Force Sgt. Steven Carrillo was the one charged with actually shooting Officer David Underwood.

"Prosecutors say the men met in person for firearms training and discussed committing acts of violence against law enforcement on WhatsApp and other messaging platforms," the report explained, citing the filings.

Prosecutors outlined in court documents that the men repeatedly referenced the term "boog," a reference to the antigovernment pro-gun movement known for promoting civil war.

An anti-masker dad in Fort Lauderdale, Florida was arrested Wednesday after he attacked a student at his daughter’s high school. Dan Bauman, 50, was standing outside Fort Lauderdale High School filming a student because she was wearing a mask, according to police. The student said “I’ve had enough for four days” before trying to grab Bauman’s phone. Bauman then shoved the student before grabbing her arm and twisting it, an arrest report says. Bauman and his daughter, Isabel, have repeatedly protested the Broward school district’s mask policy. “I want to be able to go to school like everyone does but I can’t wear a mask, I can’t breathe in it and I want to have that choice,” Isabel told CBS. Sean Curran, the school’s interim principal, said the school has tried to reason with the Bauman family and explain what exceptions are available.

“Our kids are incredible,” Curran told WFOR. “Every single one of them is wearing it and are supportive of what the measures are to keep everyone safe.”

At a local GOP political event in his home state on Sunday, Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-N.C.) warned of “bloodshed” over the 2020 election and called people arrested and charged for the Jan. 6 Capitol riot “political hostages.”

The far-right lawmaker made the comments during an event hosted by the Macon County Republican Party in Franklin, North Carolina, that the group streamed to Facebook. The post has since been removed.

During his speech, Cawthorn repeated former President Donald Trump’s lie that the 2020 election was “rigged” and warned that it would result in violence.

“If our election systems continue to be rigged and continue to be stolen, it’s gonna lead to one place, and it’s bloodshed,” he said.

He then advocated for “election security,” saying, “And I will tell you, as much as I’m willing to defend our liberty at all costs, there’s nothing that I would dread doing more than having to pick up arms against a fellow American. And the way that we can have recourse against that is if we all passionately demand that we have election security in all 50 states.”

Cawthorn, who spoke at Trump’s “Stop The Steal” rally preceding the Capitol violence on Jan. 6, referred to rioters in law enforcement custody as “political hostages” and “political prisoners” during his remarks. After an audience member asked Cawthorn what he was doing to “support the 535 Americans that were held captured from January 6?” he said his team was “seeking answers” from the federal government.

“The big problem is, we don’t actually know where all the political prisoners are,” he said. “So if we were to actually be able to go and try and bust them out ― and let me tell you, the reason why they’re taking these political prisoners is because they’re trying to make an example. ’Cause they don’t want to see the mass protests going on in Washington.”

More than 600 people have been charged in connection to the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection. They face various charges that include assaulting law enforcement and the media, stealing, and destroying federal property. A majority have been released, but some remain in jail, and those considered dangerous or flight risks have been in solitary confinement while they await trial, a fact that has prompted criticism on both sides of the aisle.

“When are you going to call us to Washington again?” the next attendee asked, prompting applause.

“We are actively working on that one,” Cawthorn answered, as can be seen in the footage below. “We have a few plans in motion I can’t make public right now, but this is something that we’re working on.”

Calls to impeach U.S. President Joe Biden have grown following the withdrawal of most of the U.S. military from Afghanistan and President Ashraf Ghani ceding power to the Taliban.
Republican Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene has said that she's working on articles of impeachment, "because i'm so disgusted with Joe Biden."
Speaking on War Room Pandemic podcast with host Steve Bannon, Greene confirmed, "I have my team right now working on articles of impeachment."
"You know I've already filed one set of articles of impeachment. But his failure as a president is unspeakable," she added.
Florida Senator Rick Scott has also raised the prospect of Biden's removal after the collapse of Afghanistan to the Taliban. Scott, who is chari fo the Senate GOP campaign arm, said on Twitter: "We must confront a serious question: Is Joe Biden capable of discharging the duties of his office or has time come to exercise the provisions of the 25th Amendment?"
