They involved themselves in any and all drama they were involved in because they were not impartial, which I think is a reason why the owner chose the course of action that he chose. The ship won't go down, HC - if the owner figures out how to deal with the mature, professional porn industry.

It is amazing really that regardless of the fact that not much new stuff is being produced that globally the number of porn viewers is increasing and fairly rapidly. That is BOTH the number of male and female porn surfers is increasing. One hint I will give is that mobile has a lot to do with it. Actually, here is another hint: porn is not taboo in most societies anymore as it's gained universal acceptance. Yep, I'll pat old Hef on the back for getting the ball rolling way back in 1953 when he launched the first Playboy issue with Marilyn on the cover.

 

Thought I saw a Playboy thread, but maybe not. Playboy is smart as fuck from a business point of view. Partially covering the models is a tactful move on its part. Think about it ... Playboy cannot go up against all of the free hardcore and free everything else involving nude models and expand the business. Partially covering models eliminates the age requirements for viewing its website and reading its mags. Now, people can read Playboy at work openly, people less than 18 or whatever the required age may be can read Playboy, ..., etc. Ok, off topic.

 

There was a playboy thread announcing Hef wasn't going to have porn anymore and was going to focus on articles, but I don't know where it went. Musta been eaten by the thread monster.

 

Yep, I thought so - but can't find it now either. It's really, as I said, a very tactful move on Playboy's part. There will still be sexy women but just not fully nude and of course, no sexual acts. It'll open up many new markets for Playboy. They cannot compete with all of the free stuff available and they know it.
