    The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

    Well my truck is auto had many of older chevy trucks with three on the tree back in the good ol days. Our 300 SRT can be driven both ways auto or select manual shifting no clutching the easy manual. Then our 68 Camaro has a th400 auto with 3600 stall with manual valve body that you slam like a red headed step child but she likes it. I will take a built automatic tranny any day over a manual.

    Learned to drive in a WWII Dodge Command Car that my Dad restored, big ol double clutch, that at the time I could barely depress properly because my legs weren't long enough, was a lot of fun to learn in though!
    Still prefer a manual but will drive what ever I can get behind the wheel of :)

      The “foot feed pedal” was a gas pedal. Model Ts like most early cars had hand throttles on the steering wheel, the option to have a foot feed pedal made starting out easier. Because, the clutch lever was on the left side as well as the hand throttle, it was cumbersome to release the clutch and advance the throttle at the same time.

    Prefer automatic, but can drive a stick as well. Only thing is when I do drive a stick, it takes a few for the muscle memory to come back.

      Ok, I'm googling all kinds of car stuff today. I had to find out if roll starting would work on a modern car. Turns out, it will as long as the battery has enough charge to run the computer that controls the engine, otherwise the spark plugs won't fire. So I guess you have to resist the urge to keep cranking if it doesn't turn over on the first try.

      Ok Randy let me clear something up ! If you can't get it to start by cranking it, You sure as hell are not going to get it to fire by roll starting it ! Roll starting only works as long as everything else works except when the battery is too low to crank. Unless you go back a little further in the time machine to the Magneto days when the Magneto provided the fire instead of a battery, and a generator powered the lights. Roll starting only works if you still have fire.

      Folks now you talk a out things you got no idea of. I give you exmap you forgot to switch off street Light. And when you start, battsry charge is so low that it can not move the starter. Just give a push and engine d start, another one, if a crank got broken, or smthing happen to wires. Rats often eat Car electricity wires. There are tons of examps, that show that hand shift is more reliable, but i a knowlage that in a Rush hour or traffic Jam autumatic is more

    Being in the process of installing Solar power at my home, Ive been considering buying an F-150 Lightning. So today I stopped by the Ford dealer to make some initial inquiries, they gave me the information I was looking for. Right before I left , I thought I would have a little fun, so I asked the group of salesmen I was talking with ( I was the only customer there ) if I could get it with a 5 or 6 speed stick shift !
