They pretend they are as stupid and ignorant as she is. But to a majority of the Republicans she is being seen as liability that could become the face of the 2022 mid terms. Newsmax on Thursday cut away from Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) in the middle of her making a conspiratorial rant against the FBI.

The right-wing TV network was covering the press conference conducted by Greene and Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), in which the two right-wing lawmakers accused the federal government of orchestrating the January 6th Capitol riots.

"You know what I think needs to be the biggest investigation in United States history?" Greene said during a lengthy rant. "What is going on at the FBI and what is happening at the Department of Justice? And the American people deserve those answers because it's the American people and the taxpayers that pay for all of it! Now I don't want to have anything to do with a government that is going to be so obsessed with overturning regime change in our own country when it should be serving the American people, particularly..."



It was at this point that the Newsmax host cut away from Greene.

"All right, Marjorie Taylor Greene," the host said. "With Congressman Matt Gaetz there, putting forth some of the arguments from the Republican side that you certainly didn't hear today from President Biden and the Democrats."

Congresswoman raises concerns about Marjorie Taylor Greene's mental health — and asks Capitol Police for help

Rep. Haley Stevens (D-MI) is asking the Capitol Police for help after fellow Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) suggested that Second Amendment rights be used against Democrats.

Greene appeared on the radio show of former President Donald Trump White House aide Sebastian Gorka Tuesday. During the interview, she complained about Stacey Abrams, who has announced she's running for governor in Georgia.

"The next thing she talked about was grabbing people's guns," Greene said of Abrams' announcement speech. "She hates Georgia's Second Amendment rights. She wants to stop constitutional carry."

"Ultimately, the truth is it's our Second Amendment rights, our right to bear arms, that protects Americans and gives us the ability to defend ourselves from a tyrannical government," she said. "And I hate to use this language, but Democrats, they're exactly ... they're doing exactly what our Founders talked about when they gave us the precious rights that we have."



“No one wants violence and I say all the time I am not a violent person. I hope to never see a civil war in this country and that’s why you hear me toss around ‘national divorce,'" Greene said. The term is being used as an alternative to a splitting the country apart like what was done in the Civil War.

“The federal government has grown so big and the Democrats are willing to use the power of the federal government, that it really violates people’s rights. It’s a shame, we shouldn’t think that way," Greene continued. “I don’t know what’s going to happen in the future. But we always have to make sure we are defending our Second Amendment rights and make sure our states’ rights are protected.”

While there have been many comments from those concerned about Greene's words, at least three public figures want to see action.

Stevens requested help from the Capitol Police noting that if it was any other workplace or school, Greene would be investigated for her threats. She also noted that she's genuinely concerned about the mental health of Greene.

Harvard Law professor Laurence Tribe echoed the sentiment but suggested Greene be put in a padded cell instead.

Rep. Dean Phillips (D-MN) also noted the comments, telling House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) to act.

"This madness must be addressed or violence will ensue," he said.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) appears very unhappy that actor Tom Hanks cut an ad on behalf of President Joe Biden.

In the ad, Hanks touts progress the Biden administration has made in vaccinating Americans and leading an economic recovery that has created millions of jobs.

“We are strong," Hanks says in the ad. "We are courageous. We are resilient. We are America, land of the brave.”

Greene, however, could not stomach this message of hope and resilience.

"I was absolutely disgusted with Tom Hanks!" she fumed on Steve Bannon's "War Room" podcast on Thursday. "All I could think about was, 'Well this is definitely a Hollywood movie.' I mean, honestly, 'Be brave?!' And all of these statistics he's quoting... everything he was saying is a lie!"

Greene then ranted about "out of control" inflation and she asked Hanks if he'd been to the grocery store lately.

"We have problems all over the country -- kids are wearing masks every single day!" she ranted.

A Democratic challenger to Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) says she was prevented from going into a town hall hosted by the GOP lawmaker.

Holly McCormack, who's challenging Greene for her congressional seat, said she and some other constituents were kicked out of the event Tuesday in Catoosa County, reported Newsweek.

"My neighbors and I were barred from attending a town hall held by our Congresswoman, in my hometown, because she doesn't want to answer the tough questions about her failure to work for the people of Georgia," McCormack said. "If she truly had the best interests of Georgians at heart, she would welcome the opportunity to connect with her constituents, regardless of who they are. Instead, she takes every step possible to avoid accountability."

McCormack's campaign said that event organizers claimed the town hall was at capacity, but they claimed that attendance was actually low and the Democratic candidate says she was blocked due to her party affiliation.

"I tried to attend her town hall tonight, but because I am a Democrat, I was kicked out and not allowed to ask my Representative a question," McCormack tweeted. "That won't happen when I'm in Congress."

"For as much as Marjorie Taylor Greene talks about communism and censorship," McCormack added, "she sure doesn't like me coming to her town hall to ask her a simple question."
