Democratic National Committee Jaime Harrison has agreed with a Democrat MSNBC contributor that his party “cannot play fair” in the midterm elections if they want to win.

The exchange happened during and appearance on MSNBC when host Tiffany Cross played a video of firebrand contributor Roland Martin saying that the Democrats have to forget the rules, Mediaite reported.

Antonio Delgado Becomes 33rd Democrat to Retire From House

U.S. Rep. Antonio Delgado, D-N.Y., makes it 33 — almost three dozen incumbent Democrats stepping down and not running again in the 2022 midterms. The number is a devastating indictment on Nancy Pelosi’s leadership and President Biden’s governance.

The Patriot Journal summarized the mass exodus with this headline: “Democrats Are Jumping Off Biden’s Sinking Ship – Joe’s Latest Poll Has His Own Party Trying To Escape.”

The Patriot Journal also predicts a massive “red wave” in November, noting that the GOP WinRed platform “raked in $170 million” last weekend.

Noteworthy is that according to FiveThirtyEight, Delgado (as of March 9) voted with President Joe Biden 100 percent of the time during the 117th Congress.

Delgado will now pursue the position of lieutenant governor of New York, supporting Hochul, who replaced disgraced former Gov. Andrew Cuomo in August 2021.

Florida Dem’s ‘Embarrassing’ Zoom Call During House Committee Meeting May Violate Ethics Rules, Watchdog Says

A nonprofit good-government group has asked the congressional Committee on Ethics to investigate a Florida Democrat for alleged ethics violations.

Congresswoman Val Demings, D-10th, is campaigning for the Florida Senate seat currently held by Republican Senator Marco Rubio.

The Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust (FACT) claims Congresswoman Demings violated House ethics rules regarding remote participation. House of Representative rules allow representatives to attend proceedings remotely to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Demings availed herself of the ability to remotely attend an April 5 Judiciary Committee meeting.

While remotely participating in the House Judiciary Committee hearing, she simultaneously participated in a remote campaign-related meeting with the Duval County Democratic Black Caucus. That multitasking was captured in videos of both events and drew the nonprofit’s attention.

FACT noted “House ethics rules require strict separation between campaign and official acts” in a letter demanding the House’s Office of Congressional Ethics conduct an immediate investigation of Demings.

“During remarks at the political event, Demings told her audience she was listening to a Judiciary Committee hearing and she was going to cast a vote while she was speaking,” FACT Executive Director Kendra Arnold wrote, before quoting Demings: “Of course I’ve been looking so forward to being with the Duval Caucus, and here I am stuck in a markup in Judiciary so I apologize for the background noise, but of course I am also listening to the hearing there, so I know when it is time for me to vote.”

The good-government group informed the ethics office that Demings stops talking to Florida Democrats after a few minutes, in order to cast her vote on the Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act. Demings may also be heard speaking to the political event during the committee’s recorded vote until Chairman Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., informs Demings she is unmuted.

“Not only was this incident an embarrassing moment for her, and for the House, but a serious rules violation appears to be present as well,” Arnold declared.

 

Voter Trust in Democrats Sinks to New Lows With 6 Months Until Midterms

Voter trust in Democrats' ability to handle rising inflation and rampant crime has sunk to new lows, according to an ABC News/Washington Post poll.

Americans back the Republican Party over the Democratic Party by 19 points on its ability to handle inflation and by 14 points on its ability to handle the economy. The poll notes that 68 percent of likely voters disapprove of President Joe Biden's approach to combating inflation. Democrats also lag behind Republicans by 12 points on their ability to handle crime—the GOP's highest trust rating on the issue since the 1990s.

The poll comes as midterm races have become more competitive in recent weeks. Eleven races moved in favor of Republicans in April, according to the UVA Center for Politics. The party is enjoying its highest levels of voter enthusiasm since 2010.

Democrats for months have polled double digits behind Republicans on issues such as the economy, crime, and immigration, and Biden's presidential approval rating has remained underwater since last year.

The ABC/Post poll surveyed 1,004 adults (including 907 registered voters) between April 24 and 28.

In the last three years, political operative Jason Belton joined a billionaire Democrat's presidential campaign, became a campaign manager for a U.S. Senate race, and won election to a South Carolina Democratic Party leadership position—all while under federal indictment for trafficking nearly nine pounds of cocaine.

According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, Belton and a co-conspirator in February 2017 contacted a drug source in California to request large quantities of cocaine, which they planned to distribute out of Columbia, S.C. Days later, the indictment states, Belton accepted a package containing four kilograms of coke from San Bernardino drug dealer Estevan Ortiz, who is also known as "Stevie," "Wonder," and "Little Man."

Not that I have anything against such a person. Some of my best friends are autistic, and most of my readers are. They’re probably also transsexuals or have at least thought about it (it is sort of weirdly interesting from an anthropological perspective, sort of like Neanderthals and dinosaurs). And cocaine can’t be any worse than, say, instant coffee, Australian wine or transsexualism.

As for being black, anyone with half a brain identifies as such. Because these days that will get you admitted to medical school (many college applicants do in fact falsely claim to be black) and appointed to the Supreme Court. It also gets you immunity against prosecution for slapping anyone you damn well please at any time you damn well please, and perhaps shooting them too. Soon, it might also get you some reparations green.

Me and my friends that look like America are really excited about our upcoming appointments to the Biden administration. (NB: Mine Microsoft typing program, Word, are sure as hell woke because they see nothing wrong with that sentence or this one.)


We’ll join Biden’s most recent appointment, his new Press Secretary pictured here. She’s a suicide-surviving (give her credit – surviving a suicide attempt is a difficult achievement unless a person has zero competence in operating a gun or mis-operating a bridge) black, lesbian, unmarried mother whose partner – here’s the disgusting part – is a CNN correspondent.

We’ll also join other diversity hires by Biden, whose hiring shows Biden to be a great president committed to finding people who are the most qualified for the job and whose alphabet-ed-ness is just a nice sidelight for which he and they should be congratulated as wonderful people.

Here are a few other examples, though space does not permit a comprehensive list.

There’s his appointment of the LGBTQ activist in the title picture above (yes, really!) to the Office of Nuclear Energy. This person advertises that they are “animal roleplay enthusiasts.” (The tail is a nice touch, huh?) And yes, this individual uses “they” and “them” as first person singular pronouns; they apparently has a mouse in their pocket, or something worse.

Next up is his Vice President who’s a half-black, seven-eighths-autistic woman with Tourette’s Syndrome.

Then there’s his nominee for the Supreme Court named Brown-Jackson, known to at least Biden as Black-Woman, though she herself is apparently unsure about the woman part since she’s not a biologist.


There’s not actually a current vacancy at the Supreme Court, but no matter. What’s important is that with the giggly aid of that loquacious Vice President there is currently a Democrat majority in the Senate to confirm her. They might in fact confirm and warehouse a few dozen, which will come in handy if they accomplish their mission that is in progress at the homes of the conservative Justices.

Biden’s other judicial appointments are 65% POC’s, 73% women and 100% far left.


Let’s not forget Biden’s Assistant Secretary of Health, the transsexual who says “there is no argument” among doctors that defenseless children should receive irreversible hormones and puberty blocker drugs to groom them for transsexuality. (He/she is lying; there is a hot debate within medicine and psychiatry about such treatment, and it has been discontinued in much of Europe including Sweden after tragic outcomes).

Another recent appointment is an odd 33-year-old woman to head the newly created Disinformation Governance Board (“Ministry of Truth” was already spoken for by George Orwell) who made and published on YouTube a cringeworthy Mary Poppins video about disinformation while dismissing the Hunter Biden laptop story as Russian disinformation.


Let’s be serious for a moment even if she can’t be. First, I’ll admit that the title of this column is false. It’s Biden’s son Hunter that has some of those traits, not his nominee for the CIA, insofar as we know. But it’s telling that you thought the title might be accurate.

Importantly, one statement I made at the outset is true. I have no objection to people for their bedroom habits or bad singing, and I pay no attention to skin colors. (I’m told that paying no attention to skin colors makes me racist under the new rules. I’m supposed to take note of skin colors so that I can discriminate in favor of POCs and against whites and Asians.)

What I do object to is the abolition of merit. High level government posts are very important and difficult jobs. Some of these people no doubt perform those jobs ably, but some probably don’t. When you hire people on the basis of skin color and sexual habits, rather than merit, that happens. Moreover, abolishing merit has a snowballing effect. When people realize that they are not rewarded for being meritorious, fewer and fewer will go to the effort of it.

Americans deserve the best qualified people serving in their government. I strongly suspect that Biden’s obsession with gender and race means we’re not getting them there, and soon won’t get them anywhere.
