    Victim suffered face lacerations, fractured eye socked in Bronx carjacking, police say

    A group of six men were caught on video carjacking a driver in New York City last month, with one man stomping of the roof of the vehicle as another man brutally punched the victim in the face, authorities said Wednesday.

    The 53-year-old victim got into an accident with a Lexus SUV on Exterior Street in the Bronx around 6:40 p.m. on March 30, police said. The impact sent both vehicles sliding into an unoccupied Honda sedan parked on the street.


    After the collision, five unknown males and the 23-year-old male driver of the Lexus surrounded the victim’s vehicle, police said.

    Video footage shows one of the males climb on top of the victim’s vehicle as the 23-year-old repeatedly punches the victim in the face. The victim runs from the scene as two of the males enter his van and flee northbound. Police said three of the men fled the scene inside the Honda sedan.

    The 23-year-old Lexus driver, identified as Miquiel Guerrero, remained at the scene and was arrested for robbery, police said.

    The victim was treated at NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi for lacerations to his face and a fractured eye socket.

    If you’ve been reading RedState lately, you are well aware of the insane reactions coming from the left in regards to the probable overturning of Roe v. Wade. One in particular involved Elizabeth Warren, who had a hysterical meltdown in Washington, DC, on Tuesday. You can check out my coverage of that by clicking here.

    One comment, in particular, involved Warren screaming for pro-abortion fanatics to “fight,” and it looks like a group of far-left protesters in Los Angeles took up that mantle. A small riot broke out resulting in a police car being smashed and physical confrontations with police. Here’s the video of Warren followed by several videos of the violence in California.

    Eventually, the police exited their vehicles and things got even more out of control, with objects, including a scooter, being thrown at them. Of course, the left is pretending that the proceeding show of force was completely unprovoked, but the above videos show the police were only responding to violence perpetrated against them.

    Now, I’ve been assured that when a politician calls for their supporters to “fight,” that is a direct call to violence. In fact, one of the phrases that have continuously been used to “prove” that Donald Trump incited January 6th, despite the fact he told people to protest peacefully, is that he asked the crowd to “fight like hell.” Given that new, overly broad standard laid out by Democrats and the media, it is only fair to suggest that Elizabeth Warren is inciting violence when she flails about demanding pro-abortion fanatics “fight.”

    She won’t be treated the same way, though. What you will see instead is a sudden contraction of the standard set forth by herself and others in order to protect leftwing politicians from getting the blame for the violence that follows their rhetoric.
    We aren’t going to let them get away with that. They wanted these to be the new rules, and they are dang sure going to play by them. More violence is almost certain as we approach the official decision from the Supreme Court on Roe. Those of us who have had to hear about January 6th non-stop for over a year will be more than happy to assign that violence to the Democrats who are currently screaming their heads off for people to “fight” and “push back.” If words have consequences, then they have consequences for both sides. The new rules are in effect.

    So when Trump says "fight like hell" he's not encouraging violence, but a democrat used the word "fight" and somehow they are responsible for a riot on the other side of the country!

    But it is interesting that all of the new judges were all asked about Roe during their confirmation, and all of them said they weren't trying to overturn it.

    They lied!

    Republicans have lied about Roe for years, claiming they weren't trying to overturn it...

    The Madison headquarters of Wisconsin Family Action, an anti-abortion group, was reportedly set on fire late Saturday night or early Sunday morning after vandals threw what is believed to be at least one Molotov cocktail at the building.

    Two staffers returned to the building for work mid-Sunday morning when they found the windows on one side of the office were shattered while burned books were scattered across the office, according to a report from Wisconsin State Journal.

    There was an apparent smell of smoke hours after the fire, which reportedly occurred in the building. The report noted that the building was also riddled with graffiti portraying anti-police slogans and the phrase: “If abortions aren’t safe then you aren’t either.”

    The Madison Police Department incident report stated that “Flames were seen coming from the facility shortly after 6 a.m.” The police report also noted that no one was injured. The group’s president also confirmed that no one was injured, according to the publication.

    Law enforcement said the building was hit with a Molotov cocktail, which landed inside the building but did not ignite. Law enforcement believes that a separate fire was started due to the Molotov cocktail not igniting.

    The anti-abortion organization’s president, Julaine Appling, told Madison.com that she and the events coordinator, Diane Westphall, were getting ready for a Mother’s Day brunch in Watertown, Wisconsin when she heard about the incident from a staff member. Appling said that the police were called when a person on their way to the airport saw smoke rising from the building before dawn.

    “What you’re going to see here is a direct threat against us,” Appling said about the attack. “Imagine if somebody had been in the office when this happened. They would have been hurt.”

    The attack comes just days after a draft leaked of a Supreme Court opinion that would overturn the infamous pro-abortion Roe v. Wade decision. The leak has caused radical pro-abortion activists and elected Democrats to take to the streets, trying to make it the “central choice” for the Left to use on the campaign trail before the November midterms.

    A group of radical pro-abortion activists recently gathered outside the homes of multiple U.S. Supreme Court Justice on Saturday to protest the Court’s expected decision to repeal Roe v. Wade. In one instance, radical pro-abortion activists marched in front of Chief Justice John Roberts’ home and reportedly chanted, “Keep abortion safe and legal.” Some other chants included, “Pro-life is a lie, you don’t care if people die.”

    Breitbart News also reported that groups of pro-abortion radicals planned to terrorize Catholic churches during Mass services on Mother’s Day.

    Due to the events, Madison Police Department Chief Shon Barnes reportedly alerted its federal partners and started investigating the arson with Madison Fire Department.

    “It appears a specific non-profit that supports anti-abortion measures was targeted,” Barnes said in the statement.

    Stephanie Fryer, the local law enforcement spokesperson, confirmed to State Journal that arson investigators were the ones to respond to the early morning police call and “are actively working this case at this time.”

    “This is the local manifestation of the anger and the lack of tolerance from the pro-abortion people toward those of us who are pro-life,” said Appling. She added that law enforcement found remnants of at least one Molotov cocktail.

    The city’s mayor, Satya Rhodes-Conway, said that she “understands” why people are afraid and angry that the draft Supreme Court decision was leaked and that “Madison believes strongly in the right to free speech, but it must be exercised nonviolently by all sides in this increasingly contentious debate.”

    Wisconsin’s Democrat Gov. Tony Evers, who is running for reelection, said on Twitter:

    We condemn violence and hatred in all forms, including the actions at Wisconsin Family Action in Madison last night. We reject violence against any person for disagreeing with another’s view.

    Violence is not the way forward. Hurting others is never the answer.

    We will work against overturning Roe and attacks on reproductive rights by leading with empathy and compassion. We will defend what we believe in with our words and our voices—in the streets, in halls of government, and at the ballot box. In Wisconsin, we must lead by example.

    Madison.com noted that in 2012, radical anti-abortion activists threw a firebomb inside Planned Parenthood’s Appleton, Wisconsin location and were sentenced to 11 years in prison.

    The police chief said that the department would provide an update on the situation on Monday at 2 p.m.

    Words matter, right? That’s been the prevailing message of the left for years, but if you thought they’d hold themselves to their own standard, you’d be wrong.

    Alright, no one thought that, so Lori Lightfoot appearing to push for a civil war via a “call to arms” and a challenge to “fight” an unelected body like the Supreme Court isn’t at all surprising. It’s the ultimate cliche given the transparent bias in the news industry but imagine for a second that a Republican put these tweets out.

    Definitionally, a “call to arms” has a very specific meaning. “Arms” means weapons, and Lightfoot is calling to use them to enact a political outcome. There’s a word for that, too, but no doubt the Chicago mayor will claim she meant her tweets in the most peaceful way possible. That makes no sense, though, given the language used, but that will be the excuse, and that’s if the media even press her to give one.

    But let’s talk about the implications here before the above-mentioned excuse is publicly made. How do you “fight” the Supreme Court? It’s not an elected body so voting is out, and there is no scenario where two-thirds of the Senate chooses to remove a sitting Justice. That’s what makes Lightfoot’s comments so egregious. She’s not only using violent rhetoric, but she’s doing so in a situation where the only practical way to carry out her statements is violence.

    So while she’ll claim she didn’t mean it the way it sounds, exactly how did she mean it then? How should people “fight” a non-political body full of lifetime appointments? With what arms? I’d love to think she’ll be made to answer those questions, but she won’t be.

    Republicans can only look on and shake our heads. We are old enough to remember when Sarah Palin was accused of inciting violence because she put targets on a congressional map denoting vulnerable districts. It took years before that story died down. More recently, Donald Trump has been accused of inciting violence because he used the word “fight” in regard to the 2020 election, even while also saying to peacefully protest.

    Lightfoot will not get the same treatment, though. Like Bernie Sanders, who essentially accused Republicans of trying to kill people regarding healthcare spending, she’ll be assigned no responsibility when some crazy person takes her up on her offer.

    On Monday evening, radical abortion supporters marched on Samuel Alito’s home. The country is in a dangerous spot, and you’ve got loons like Lightfoot giving a “call to arms” in response. It’s insane, but I don’t think the rhetoric gets any less volatile from here.

    The office for Concerned Women for America (CWA), the nation’s largest public policy women’s organization, was allegedly vandalized Saturday night by a man after a leaked draft opinion that shows the Supreme Court may end federal protections for abortion.

    In a video, an unidentified man is shown ripping the organization's intercom system from the exterior entrance and making inappropriate gestures to the camera multiple times before unzipping his pants to urinate on the door and windows. The video first aired on Tucker Carlson Tonight.

    In an interview with Fox News Digital, CWA President and CEO Penny Nance said the man is a "leftist activist" and has a history of taunting CWA staff.

    "This has been an ongoing issue, but unfortunately, it's escalated," Nance said. "This is an activist who has made it very clear that he doesn't like our position on the issue of life and other issues, including the idea that biological women matter. For the last few weeks, he has harassed our staff, he's thrown things at our building, and he's thrown things on cars inside our secure parking area. But it escalated this weekend."

    Nance, who said the vandalism was discovered on Monday, told Fox News Digital she suspects that the actions taken by the man are in "connection with the leaked opinion" from the Supreme Court. "We've seen him for a while now," Nance said of the man. "He's a leftist activist."

    Nance said the organization is unapologetically pro-life and insisted it's no secret that they are speaking out against abortion.

    "You know, I think this is part of a bigger story about intimidation by the left against people of faith, in this case women of faith, who are standing firm on the issue," she said. "The bottom line is that it does not matter what he or anyone else says. Never back down from defending life."

    "We're not vile, we're not hostile. We're joyful, smiling, happy warriors and we will continue to fight on the side of righteousness and on the side of life," she added.

    Nance told Fox News Digital that a police report regarding the incident was filed. The organization also filed a report on the incident with the FBI, labeling it as a hate crime.

    The attack on the office came less than a week after a leaked draft opinion from the Supreme Court was made public and signaled Roe v. Wade, a 1973 landmark decision which grants federal protections for abortion, could soon be overturned.

    "This has become increasingly difficult and deeply concerning," Nance said of the recent hostility the organization has faced from individuals in the community. "We're beginning to worry about the safety of our employees."

    In a statement to Fox News Digital, Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares, who was informed by CWA of the incident, condemned "intimidation, destruction, or violence" in any form as it relates to political discourse.

    "It’s never acceptable to resort to intimidation, destruction, or violence in our political discourse," Miyares said. "We should embrace diversity of opinion, civil dialogue, and debate, because it is essential to making America a unique and free country."

    The FBI and the Alexandria Police Department did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's requests for comment.

    A California teen convicted of plowing a car into a mother and her 8-month-old son will spend just five months in a diversionary program thanks to Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascon, according to the woman who survived the crash.

    Despite shocking surveillance video of the Aug. 6, 2021, incident, numerous eyewitnesses and initial felony charges, the teen will serve his sentence at a "juvenile probation camp," an alternative sentence less severe than juvenile detention.

    "I thought those were the last moments of our lives; we were dead," the mother, who asked to be identified only as Rachel, wrote in a victim’s impact statement. "That feeling, along with the memory of a car accelerating directly into us, will haunt me forever."

    Gascon’s office said it was looking into the sentencing.

    According to police sources, the driver, 16 at the time of the crime, initially told investigators the victim appeared out of nowhere, and he struck her by accident.

    Multiple videos show the car veering directly at the mother and child while speeding the wrong way down a narrow backstreet with no sidewalks. After mowing them down, the driver attempts to drive away, only to be stopped by another driver who rams the stolen sedan with a pickup.

    Rachel, in her statement, repeatedly called the attack an attempted murder and lambasted Gascon for what she called a policy of seeking juvenile justice with "the lightest touch possible."

    She said the driver got so close she could see the whites of his eyes.

    "As the car approached me and my child, I stopped walking and moved the stroller and myself up against a building on the right side of the road to ensure that we gave the reckless driver plenty of room to pass," Rachel said. "As the car got dangerously close to us, [the juvenile suspect] turned the wheels in our direction and accelerated as he aimed to kill us."

    Rachel said she lived in fear for seven months before the driver was taken into custody and added she will continue to live in fear after his short sentence is complete.

    "I was also told that his record would be wiped clean when he turns 18," she continued. "How on earth can that be? He tried to murder two innocent pedestrians. Murder. And we have video evidence. My child would be dead if I hadn’t been there to protect him."

    In the harrowing collision, with a wall to one side and the approaching car on the other, Rachel said she lifted her son's stroller straight up just before impact, which she credits for saving him from more severe injuries.

    "George Gascon doesn’t value my life or the life of my child, or any other victim out there and would rather reward the monsters like [the juvenile suspect] by demonstrating to them that their actions have no consequences," Rachel's statement continues. "DA Gascon is telling him and every other thug in LA County that it doesn’t matter if you try to murder people. Why are Gascon’s policies prioritizing the livelihood of rotten monsters when my child, my baby, who is incapable of protecting himself, is left to fend for himself, and is essentially being told his life doesn’t matter?"

    Gascon’s office has come under fire for months for what critics say is a soft approach to prosecuting crime. He has maintained that his reforms are aimed at creating a fairer criminal justice system.

    As he has issued directives handcuffing prosecutors from seeking sentencing enhancements or other stiffer penalties, homicides in Los Angeles have soared, according to city and county law enforcement.

    Roske was armed with a black tactical chest rig, a tactical knife, a Glock 17 pistol with two magazines, pepper spray, zip ties, a hammer, screwdriver, nail punch, crow bar, pistol light, duct tape, hiking boots with padding on the outside of the soles and other items, prosecutors said.​

    Once cops took him into custody and brought him to the local police station, the case was transferred to the FBI, which didn’t immediately return a request for comment. ​

    Police respond to Democrat DA's house after she allegedly goes after husband

    The Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx allegedly slapped her husband during a domestic dispute, according to her spouse.

    A police officer from the Flossmoor Police Department in Illinois was dispatched to a home on June 4 at around 10:00 p.m. in response to a domestic dispute between Kim Foxx and her husband, Kelley Foxx. Kelley Foxx dialed 911 to report a domestic dispute with his wife, according to the police report, which states that the officer was told that the dispute was physical but there were no injuries "yet."

    Fox News obtained the police report through a public records request.

    When the police officer arrived, he activated his body camera and saw Kelley Foxx and Kim Foxx standing on the front step. Kelley told the officer, according to the police report, that "Kimberly got mad about something that was posted on Facebook that he did."

    Kelley claims that Kim Foxx then asked him to leave, which he refused. The situation then became physical, according to Kelley Foxx.

    Paraphrasing what Kelley Foxx said, police wrote in the report "[Kelley Foxx] explained that Kimberly blocked him from leaving a bathroom."

    Kelley also told the police officer that Kim Foxx grabbed his collar and threw his video game controller on the ground.

    "He tried to turn on the TV and Kimberly snatched the controller out of his hand and threw the controller," the report states, paraphrasing what Kelley Foxx said.

    The police officer wrote that Kim Foxx was close enough to Kelley Foxx while he was speaking to him, and could hear Kim Foxx say "all that is true."

    Kelley Foxx then alleged that Kim Foxx slapped him across the left cheek. The officer wrote that he did not "observe any indicators to support his claim of being struck. There was no redness or swelling visible on his face."

    When told by the officer that he didn't see any marks on his face, he responded that he wants to be left alone.

    "She can't come in my personal space and put her hands on me," Kelley said, according to the report.

    The officer asked Kelley Foxx if he felt safe in the house, and he responded that he wanted to make sure someone understands what was going on.

    "I asked him to explain what is happening here meant and he said she is being physically aggressive. He added that he just wanted it to stop," the officer wrote.

    A separate police officer spoke to Kim Foxx, and said that she had an argument with Kelley Foxx and wanted him to leave.

    Police also spoke with the Foxx's 19-year-old child about the incident, who said that she heard a disagreement "but could not tell what was going on and did not see anything."

    Kim Foxx told police, according to the report, that she did put her hands on Kelley Foxx, but it was only to guide him out of the house and says she didn't slap him.

    Kim Foxx and Kelley Foxx both told police they have been together for over 20 years and things have never gotten physical.

    A source inside Foxx's office told Fox News that "we all" knew about the incident right away.

    "We all knew about it right when it happened but we were waiting for the corruption to start. How would they make this go away," the source said. "We’re always told we have to be held to a higher standard, she is our boss."

    The source added that the incident will likely "go away."

    "I’m born and raised here in Chicago, I think it’s going to go away. Like everything else. When the machine democrats get in trouble, they make it go away," the source said.

    In a statement, Kelley Foxx and Kim Foxx told Fox News "This is a personal family matter, and we ask that you provide our family with respect and privacy.
