  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

So Doctor Strange 2 is out on Disney plus. Haven't seen it will this weekend. Heard good things about it. Anyways. With the Multiverse being open that opens a wide range of movies Marvel can do. They already made all 3 Spiderman come together in last Spiderman movie. Ok moving on from that.

Giving that there had been multiple people that had played the same character. Again example spider man.

Can you name a character that had been played by other actors. And can you debate on who and why a actor played that character the best over the rest?

@Prowler86 I wonder if DC is having second thoughts about passing on Grant Gustin who plays him on the TV show and who the fans wanted in the first place.
DC wanted a "name" people would recognize. Well, it's recognizable now.

I would think having an actor in an established role for years would be fine for film. Certainly would have been a better choice.

Rooster Cogburn in True Grit... thought Jeff Bridges did a better job than John Wayne. The Bridges movie was closer to the book especially at the end when Maddy goes looking for Cogburn only to be told he was dead.

The Bridges version is much better. John Wayne gets the nostalgia vote from most people but as an actor in a particular role, Bridges rocked it.

Sean Connery as James Bond was the best, but Daniel Craig is pretty great too.

Having read all the Bond books, Craig is closest to the character personality wise. Timothy Dalton in looks.
Flemming didn't like Connery in the role. Thought he was a little too much of a pretty boy.
Roger Moore was the worst with the cheesy double entendres and winks at the camera. It's like watching Burt Reynolds at his worst.

Totally agree... while some of the cutesy names were in the books, the character in ink was business like and cold. Connery was fun to watch, but Craig had the intensity of a cold, business like agent.

The movies Connery was in where to tongue in cheek, too bad he can't be in one now. But the ones Craig are in are a lot better but still have too much of a superhero feel to them. If you ever find some info vids of old time FBI and KGB spies your jaw would drop. Non dechirp blend in the crowd types. Some just pass info others like one KGB who was incharge of all operations on the east coast was a stone cold killer, his cover was a busboy in a small N.Y. diner.

Several different actors have played Batman, but believe it or not, Robert Pattinson ("that Twilight guy") pulled off the best live action version so far, in the latest movie. On the other hand, I've only seen one person play Tony Stark (Iron Man), but he did such an outstanding job OWNING that role, that I'd have a hard time seeing anyone else play him now.

Rumor has it, Tom Cruise really pushed for that role. That's what the MCU needs, a 5'7" Iron Man.

There was a meme that had the MCU cast if it had happened in the 90s. Tom Cruise was the hypothetical Iron Man. I think Thor was Brad Pitt.

Those early show are good because, like the Twilight Zone they were performed live. Honor Blackman was the one that came up with the leather outfit Diana Rigg made famous. Everyone of Steeds companions, including Linda Thorson brought something different to the series. The best part of the Avengers was it never fell into the campiness that The Saint did or the psychedelic dissociativeness of Dangerman as Mcgoohan moved into the Prisoner. Just my observation, your results may vary.

I tend to agree, but haven't seen enough of the early shows - I liked The Saint, preferred Secret Agent, and The Prisoner was... interesting (I mean, really - who was surprised that they were just a few miles outside of London? So where the fuck was that beach that never ever had any boats go by?)

Wasn't crazy about the New Avengers. Blackman and Rigg became Bond girls - not so much with 'Tara -ra-ra Boom-dee-A' Thorson. Hated 'Mother' - annoying.

I like Christian Bale and Ben Afleck when it came to playing Bruce Wayne as I feel they were more of a philantropist/playboy then other actors.

Michael Keaton is still up their.

George Clooney and Val Kimer are a no go.

Bogart over Cortez as Sam Spade.
Even though the two films were almost identical script wise, Bogart was more vibrant in the role.

Carlos Villarias using the same sets, costumes and script, was a much better Count Dracula (Spanish version, filmed each night after the English cast and crew were done for the day) than Bela Lugosi.

USPS has a fairly inexpensive "Media Rate".
Box them up and either go on line, set up an account (credit card required) or take the box to the nearest P.O.
Make sure you tell them it contains books and you want the media rate.
It won't get there tomorrow but it will get there.

I find great books at bookstores on sale, as well as at garage/estate sales. I prefer to read from a physical book as I’ve been known to go back and verify something previously. It’s easier with an actual book than an e-reader because I tend to remember where physically it was. Using an e-reader, it’s not so easy. Sure I can ‘bookmark’ things but how do I know to do that until later in the book?

@Dearelliot - rather than throw them out, nursing homes, schools, churches, and even Meals on Wheels thrift stories would be thrilled for you to donate them. Libraries will just turn the “donations” out, more likely throw them in the trash.

    Yeah it's actually like this...

I've been trying to post my story and it won't allow me to login if I don't post more than 6 times. I've posted now more than 9 times and it still won't allow me to log in.

I have one killer story to share but I guess I won't be able to get it going on this platform.

Well, there’s a reason and if you’d spent some time reading the Road Map to XNXX and/or the Rules and other comments throughout the Forum, you’d know. Once you hit 6 Messages, you need to wait until the server resets and then you need to log out and log back in.

But no, you’re doing it your way. Fine, but at least make a contribution to the site.

Of course, you COULD always post your story to the Sex Stories thread in the Forum, but I’m guessing that’d be too fucking easy, eh?

Mmm-Hmm... your reasoning and posting so far is absolutely stellar. It's damn shame after 10 posts, you've developed an attitude toward your intended audience freak. I'm sure their comments and likes or lack thereof will reflect that.

Guess I'm showing my age here. Most of the stories today move fast with a lot of cerebral jigsaw puzzle stuff. Back in the 60's and 70's in college I was reading Dashiell Hamett and Raymond Chandler because I was writing... slow plodding detailed novels that was so thick with plot the movie studios had to hire the original authors to do the screenplays. As a result, the films were always close to the book, and the actors cast in the roles became the characters. It's hard to watch Bogart play Sam Spade or Philip Marlowe and not think its him. Just an off the wall observation.
