There's no point in trying to reason with people like this. They are a drag on society, but we've always had to deal with this sort of thing, throughout history. The only difference now is modern communications lets them gather in large groups. Of course, large groups is a good way to spread a communicable disease, so we should see group size gradually decline as the herd is thinned.

Well, I think, yes and no. Because I've had two initial vax and two boosters, I have a better (not total) chance of surviving a covid infection, but with a heart condition and diabetes I'm still way at risk. There's the theraputic pill, thankfully, that may save my ass if I catch the infection early enough. Another reason to vax the "herd" is to reduce the likelyhood of an even more deadly variant, immune to the vax, from killing me and another million of us.

Well, Shooter has had cardiac surgery, in fact his family are the poster family for cardiac disease. He's also an old fart so yeah, vaccination is a thing for both of us.
The thing is, vaccination has never been mandatory before with more serious diseases but now people are losing their jobs and being denied medical care for refusing a vaccine rushed into circulation without the usual testing and safeguards.

But what it really amounts to is people being so brainwashed that they're now so afraid of dying they quit living.

And you have to ask yourself; why the obsessive push to vaccinate people now, especially when they don't want to?
Is it just the evolution of society, you know, moving from no bicycle helmets to warnings not to drink the battery fluid, or is there something sinister at work here.
