Jeremy Bash signed letter claiming laptop had ‘classic earmarks of a Russian information operation’.

President Biden on Friday announced his intent to appoint MSNBC analyst Jeremy Bash, who insisted Hunter Biden’s scandalous laptop was Russian disinformation, to the President’s Intelligence Advisory Board.

The authenticity of Biden's laptop has since been verified by numerous news organizations, but Bash was among more than 50 former intelligence officials who previously signed a letter dismissing it as Russian disinformation ahead of the 2020 presidential election. The letter was widely spread in the media despite there being no evidence to substantiate their claims.

Bash, who is a former Central Intelligence Agency Chief of Staff in addition to his role as an MSNBC pundit, signed the October 2020 letter that attempted to downplay the scandal before Election Day.

The White House says U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham's threat of "riots in the streets" should the Dept. of Justice decide to prosecute Donald Trump proves President Joe Biden's label of "semi-fascism" for the "MAGA Republicans" is correct.

"We have seen MAGA Republicans attack our democracy. We have seen MAGA Republicans take away our rights. Make threats of violence, including this weekend, and that is what the President was referring to when you all asked me last week about the 'semi-fascism' comment," White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told a reporter Monday (video below) when asked about Sen. Graham's threat.

President Biden "was clear, not all Republicans," Jean-Pierre stressed.

"There are some mainstream Republicans he mentioned, governor of Maryland Larry Hogan, and talked about him and what he's been doing."

"But we have seen these MAGA extreme Republicans making these kinds of comments, which is, which is dangerous. And and this is what we are talking about," she said, "when President Biden was making his comments last week."

"Look, this is a president that believes when you are President of the United States, it is your duty, it is your responsibility to have the strongest voice we have when it comes to democracy, when speaking about democracy. And that's what you're going to continue to hear from this President."

Sunday evening in what some, including legal experts saw as a clear threat, Sen. Graham declared, "If there’s a prosecution of Donald Trump for mishandling classified information ... there’ll be riots in the streets.”

Thursday night at a Maryland rally President Biden infuriating the right told supporters, "It’s not just Trump, it’s the entire philosophy that underpins the — I’m going to say something, it’s like semi-fascism.”

“The MAGA Republicans don’t just threaten our personal rights and economic security,” Biden said. “They’re a threat to our very democracy. They refuse to accept the will of the people. They embrace political violence. They don’t believe in democracy.”

“I want to be crystal-clear about what’s on the ballot this year,” Biden continued. “Your right to choose is on the ballot this year. The Social Security you paid for from the time you had a job is on the ballot. The safety of our kids from gun violence is on the ballot.”

“MAGA Republicans don’t have a clue about the power of women. Let me tell you something: They are about to find out.”

President Joe Biden disavowed a popular 2020 far-left rallying cry when he called for more funds for police agencies during remarks from Pennsylvania Tuesday.

In Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, Biden disavowed the “defund the police” movement, citing the country’s crime wave.


“Everybody’s entitled to be treated with dignity, to simple dignity,” Biden said. “The fact is that they want to be able to go to good schools, stay in safe neighborhoods, a decent place to live, and just a fair shot, just a fair shot for their kids.”

The president added many communities are grappling with violent crime. He recalled in his youth, parents were not worried about their kids going out.

Biden said:

For too long, too many families haven’t had that peace of mind. They watch the news and they see kids being gunned down in schools and on the streets. Almost every single night you turn the news on, that’s what you see. They see their neighbors lose their loved ones to drugs like fentanyl, which is a flat killer. They see hate and anger and violence, just walking the streets of America.

And they just want to feel safe again. They want to feel a sense of security. And that’s what my crime plan is all about. You know, I call it the Safer America Plan, and both members of Congress voted for it. It’s based on a simple notion. When it comes to public safety in this nation, the answer is not defund the police, it’s fund the police.

Biden argued police officers are tasked with keeping neighborhoods safe while balancing being “psychologists” and “sociologists.”


He added while there are bad police officers, he beliefs the overwhelming majority of law enforcement officers are good people with dangerous jobs.

“You realize more police officers are killed dealing with domestic violence than anything else?” he asked those in attendance. “Do you realize that? The point is we ask so much of you, so much of you. I’ve not met a cop who likes a bad cop. There’s bad in everything.”

President Joe Biden hit back at comments by Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) in which the senator said “there will be riots” if former President Donald Trump is prosecuted.

Biden delivered a speech in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania on Tuesday. Though he did not address Graham by name, it is clear he was referring to him.


Graham appeared on Fox News on Sunday to address the Department of Justice inquiry into Trump’s improper possession of government documents. Earlier this month, the FBI executed a search warrant at his Mar-a-Lago estate, where agents found a trove of government materials, some of them classified.

“I’ll say this,” Graham stated. “If there is a prosecution of Donald Trump for mishandling classified information after the Clinton debacle, there will be riots in the street.”

Biden referenced the senator’s remarks during his speech.

“By the way, no one expects, politics to be patty-cake,” the president said. “It sometimes gets mean as hell. But the idea you turn on a television and see senior senators and congressmen saying, ‘If such and such happens, there will be blood in the street.’ Where the hell are we?”

The FBI raid on Trump’s Florida estate has enraged Republicans, who regard the search as overreach, if not persecution of the former president. Trump has sued in an effort to prevent federal officials from reviewing the documents. He insists he declassified all government documents in his possession. However, even if this were true, those documents were supposed to have been given to the National Archives when he left office.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre served up a stunning and rare rebuke Wednesday afternoon of several “extreme” MAGA Republican elected officials who are using violent rhetoric and false claims that align with former president Donald Trump’s agenda and actions.

“Representative Paul Gosar (R-AZ) has posted videos depicting him attacking the President and members of Congress,” Jean-Pierre responded to a reporter who asked if President Joe Biden criticizing “MAGA Republicans” and using the term “semi-fascism” to describe their ideology goes against his 2020 campaign promise to be a “uniter.”

“You have Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA),” she continued, who has “publicly expressed support for shooting prominent Democratic elected officials and suggesting physically assaulting transgender school officials,” added Jean-Pierre, who was clearly prepared.

“You have Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC), [who] has said falsely if our election system ‘continues to be rigged and continues to be stolen, then it’s going to lead to one place, and that’s bloodshed.’ And just last week, you had Governor Ron DeSantis suggesting that Dr. Fauci should be physically assaulted. And former President Trump has done the same many, many times.”

The reporter, CBS News chief White House correspondent Nancy Cordes had asked: “Over the past week or so, we’ve heard many Republicans argue that this President ran a uniter. And now he’s calling MAGA Republicans, which is a very large swath of the American populace, ‘semi-fascists.’ He is arguing that they’re a threat to democracy. Does the White House believe that this is a fair criticism by Republicans that this is not unifying language?”

President Biden did not call MAGA Republicans “semi-fascists,” but he did refer to the MAGA ideology as “semi-fascism.”

Calling their violent rhetoric a “dangerous trend that we’re seeing,” Jean-Pierre pointed to a “New York Times headline from this month: ‘As right wing rhetoric escalates, so do threats and violence.’ And so these are things that we have to call out.”

” I was talking about the ‘soul of the nation,’ something the President has talked about since 2017. When he wrote that article in The Atlantic, and he’s called it out then, he called it out January 6, he called it out Inauguration Day. He called it out last week. He called it out yesterday. So there is been a consistent call out from the President, what he’s seeing from an extreme part of this party of the Republican Party. And historians, I would argue, would say the same.”

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre's claim that illegal immigrants aren’t just "walking across" the southern border has sparked anger and shock from Border Patrol agents — who witness hundreds of migrants flooding across the border every single day.

"How out of touch can this administration possibly be?" one agent told Fox News. "Well, I guess this is a new level."

Jean-Pierre was asked on Monday why migrants are allowed to illegally enter the U.S. without being vaccinated for COVID-19 but an unvaccinated foreign national traveling on a plane is not.

"Somebody unvaccinated comes over on a plane. You say that's not OK. Somebody walks into Texas or Arizona unvaccinated, they're allowed to stay? Why?" Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy asked at the White House press briefing.

"But that's not how it works," Jean-Pierre said.

"That's what's happening," Doocy said. "I know that's not what you guys want to happen. But that is what is happening."

"But that's not — it's not like somebody walks over," Jean-Pierre responded.

Jean-Pierre went on to outline what the administration had done in terms of the border, including more DHS funding and cooperation with other countries — contrasting it to what she said was the prior administration’s focus on building a wall.

"It is not that simple. It’s not just that people are walking across the border," she said. "We have a plan in place."

Border Patrol agents are on the front lines dealing with migrants coming across the border in droves. Migrants encountered by Border Patrol are generally processed and released into the U.S. often within hours of apprehensions. Meanwhile, there are more than half a million illegal immigrants who have evaded Border Patrol this fiscal year alone.

Agents were stunned by the remarks.

"There's only two reasons she said that, and that is either she is extremely dumb or she is flat-out lying and hopes America is so stupid we would believe her," one agent told Fox News Digital. "18 USC 1001 says it is a federal crime to knowingly make false statements to the U.S. government. Too bad the government is not held to the same standard as the citizenry, and that is assuming [Jean-Pierre] is not dumb but just a liar."

A number of agents Fox spoke with were unsure of whether the comments were borne out of what they saw as ignorance or were a deliberate falsehood.

"She is absolutely ignorant to the reality of all the documented footage or just continuing [Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro] Mayorkas' delusional lie," another agent said. "This administration must believe that the American people are fools like their mainstream media comrades."

"Wow," another said. "It amazes me how so many totally ignorant people are high in government."

Others noted the White House’s general reluctance to visit the border itself — President Biden has not visited the border, and Vice President Kamala Harris' last visit was summer 2021.

"Has [Jean-Pierre] ever visited the actual border to see for herself what is happening? Nope," an agent said.

The comments by agents come a day after National Border Patrol Council president Brandon Judd accused the administration of deflecting on the issue, and said it shows the White House does not care about the border crisis.

"They don't care that hundreds of thousands of people are dying because of drug overdoses because of these illegal immigrants that are coming across the borders illegally, that the cartels then create the opportunities. They don't care what is currently happening. They know that it's not hurting them. So, they're going to continue to lie to the American public," he said.

The controversy comes as the border came close to another 200,000 migrant encounters in July, the fifth month in a row when the numbers have either approached or beaten the 200,000 level.

There have so far been more than 2 million migrant encounters this fiscal year, exceeding the record-setting 1.7 million hit in fiscal year 2021. While some are returned via Title 42 public health restrictions — which the White House is seeking to abolish — most are currently being released into the U.S.

The Biden administration has come under fire for its "root cause" strategy of targeting what it believes are the drivers of migration, like poverty and violence in Central America. Republicans have instead blamed the administration for fueling the crisis with its stopping of Trump-era border policies like wall construction and the "Remain in Mexico" program, as well as lax interior enforcement.

The Biden administration has noted its moves to reduce asylum times and a recent anti-smuggling campaign. But it has repeatedly said that its approach is a long-term strategy and will not lead to results in the short-term — a claim that Jean-Pierre repeated on Monday.

"We have a plan in place. This is not like switching the lights on. Right?" she said. "This is going to take a process. We are fixing a broken system that was actually left by the last administration."

As RedState reported, excerpts from Joe Biden’s “MAGA speech” previewed a gross abuse of the Executive Office of the President. Sure enough, that’s exactly what was delivered as the president appeared in Philidelphia, standing in front of a blood-red background, flanked by Marines.

Lines were crossed that can’t be uncrossed, from the use of the military as props in a blatantly political speech to Biden suggesting that nearly half the country is a “danger” to the republic. This was a speech that went far beyond anything seen in the modern era of presidential addresses.

Of course, because we are dealing with a decrepit, senile old man, things didn’t start off well. The president couldn’t stop coughing as he tried to get into his remarks.

The meat of the speech was no better than Biden’s health. He kept repeating the term “MAGA,” painting those who voted for Donald Trump as evil fascists that pose a direct threat to the very well-being of the nation. That’s ludicrous, and as I’ve shared before, it’s also incredibly dangerous. When you begin attack tens of millions of Americans as scum, suggesting they are going to destroy “our democracy,” that justifies just about anything in response, doesn’t it? Someone is going to get hurt based on his incitement.

It sure feels like Biden wants to provoke some kind of violent response. Why else even give this speech? What did it accomplish? What new was put out on the table? This is the same garbage Biden has been spewing for years, and it’s no more true today than it was when he was campaigning for president.

There’s also an inherent contradiction in what Biden is saying. He continually wants to paint himself as an uniter, while his words and actions exacerbate deep, disturbing divisions.

I’ve seen a lot of national addresses from US presidents over the years, as I’m sure many of you reading this have. I have never seen a speech like this, given under these circumstances. Presidents deliver campaign speeches, but they don’t call national addresses under the guise of their office to do so, and Biden’s attacks on tens of millions of Americans are unprecedented. You’d have to go back to Hillary Clinton’s “basket of deplorables” quip to find something similar in politics, but that was quaint compared to the president’s remarks.

There was one enjoyable part of the speech, though. A heckler decided to become a legend by spoiling Biden’s party.

And that was about it. Really, there was nothing else noteworthy said in this dumpster fire of a speech that broke all traditions and decorum surrounding the Executive Office of the President. It lasted about 25 minutes, with Biden being escorted out by Jill Biden as you’d expect. It was completely unnecessary and represented a rehash of the same trash the White House has been putting out on Twitter. That’s what this was. This was Twitter rage wrapped into a national address, and it was sad and pathetic to witness.
