Yeah I've encountered this as well. Having a story that is now up in the 90s but within the first several days in the 50s... quite a blow to one's confidence.

 

Been using this thing for years finally figured I'd post something I'd written to find out about the comments thing. So here I am jumping through hoops

I've already had a bad spelling rating so I'm going to give it a couple reads to double check that side of things. Literacy has never been my strong suit

 

I don't know if anyone has ever promoted these ideas but here goes.

1. Daughter is curious about breeding or how a cream pie actually feels and asks Dad and Mom for help.

2. Daughter drugs or ties up Dad in order to get pregnant.

I would write something like these but I can't get the privacy to do it.

 

I write at work. It's the most private place I have lol

 

If you restrict voting to registered users only, then why don't they show up on the vote list? I can understand when anonymous voting is allowed. Even registered users might not be logged in when they read a story and vote. So it makes sense that they might either not have an account or be logged in. But if it is restricted to registered votes, then I would think it would show all votes. How is it decided which votes show up in the votes list?

 

Ok, I want to pose a question to the forum. What would cause you to give a negative vote? I've read several hundred, if not thousand stories on here. Yes, I have given a few negative votes. For me, it has to do with if I have difficulty reading the story.
-Names change throughout the story, called Fred in several paragraphs then is called Scott.
-Story continually jumps around so none of it makes sense.
-If throughout the story there is no sentence structure... at all.
-A lot... and I mean a lot, of spelling and punctuation errors, that make me have to reread over and over.
I read a story and if, I don't like the plot or theme, I just don't vote. I don't think that what the story is about, is the reason for a negative vote. I'm not into beastiality but, I wouldn't give a negative rating if it suddenly appeared. I would just stop reading it. My opinion... What's yours?

 

The tally will adjust itself. Don't get hung up on the numbers too much

 

I have a couple of stories in my head, but would like to hear some advice as to how I should write them
They are both set ina kindof parallel world. Like the earth but different rules apply. (For example: Men live mainly on breastmilk and women on men's cum.)
What is the best way to introduce the different rules of a parallel 'universe'? Is it best to weave it into the story as it goes along, or should one start the story off with laying down the 'rules' of the world?
Which way is easiest to follow for the reader you think?

Thinking about posting some of my stories. I've had 2 non erotic ones published in anthologies. They were both to benefit animal shelters.

 

Has anyone here had luck writing a full length erotic novel. I just completed one under a different pen name and could use some advice.

 

Do you have to mention the age at all? Maybe just dance around that, watch out for those trigger words that make it difficult.
