  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

By now, pretty much everyone knows that Donald Trump announced a bid for the White House in 2024. That much was largely expected. It's interesting, though, that a few implications haven't been mentioned so far. Let's look at them:

    • Nearly everyone knows that Trump says he really won the 2020 election, and that Biden is a usurper. By the same token, there are legions of people who say the same, denying the apparent election results. If that's true, then Trump is ineligible to run again. That's by the 22nd Amendment to the Constitution, which says:

    Twenty-Second Amendment

    Section 1

No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once. But this Article shall not apply to any person holding the office of President when this Article was proposed by the Congress, and shall not prevent any person who may be holding the office of President, or acting as President, during the term within which this Article becomes operative from holding the office of President or acting as President during the remainder of such term.

    Section 2

This article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several States within seven years from the date of its submission to the States by the Congress.

This amendment has been in force since 1951, so it's not exactly news. So if Trump is right and he really were elected in 2020, then if he were to run and win in 2024, that would be null and void by the 22nd Amendment.

    • Let's stipulate that the apparent results of the 2020 election were in fact the real results, and that Trump lost. That means he's eligible to be elected in 2024. But it also indicates one of two possibilities:

§ He (Trump) knew his election claims were false all along. That means that for about two years, he's been spreading a falsehood as truth. Worse, he has convinced untold numbers of people that this falsehood is indeed true. Worse still, this falsehood generated an insurrection in which people were injured and killed. All of this suggests he is not trustworthy and not worthy of the confidence of the electorate. While that doesn't disqualify him legally, it sure doesn't allow for effective, good government in which the people generally trust the leadership (I know: trust everyone, but always cut the cards.)

§ He was told he won the election by one or more unnamed persons when that was not the case, and believed them--indeed, believed them sufficiently that he convinced others, with the same results noted above. That suggests he's incredibly gullible. That sort of gullibility suggests he could compromise the Department of Agriculture, never mind State or Defense. And I think it's safe to say we want leadership who can be trusted to handle confidential information reliably and not fall for two-bit scams.

So where does that leave us? Either Trump is ineligible to be elected again, he has a total disregard for the truth, or he's one of the all-time chumps for a massive con. Pick your poison.

In Shooter's opinion not much of this matters.
Trump has less chance of getting the deplorable nomination than Liz Cheney.
So long as there are other living, breathing, conscious candidates, Trump cannot prevail even to the nomination.

There may be something in what you say. However, it seems to me that underestimating Trump / counting him out is risky. I wouldn't say he's done just yet. We all know the man is amoral and will stop at nothing.

Well, but are you saying the despicables who have obsessed over all things trump for the last 7 years are moral and have limits to what they are willing to do to get Trump?

    1. dudley_tundish
Hardly, but that's a sweeping generalization about many. I'm not gonna get sucked into that one.

Not a trap set for you.
Shooter just wanted to point out that the despicables have demonstrated their lack of morals and ethics over the last 7 years demonizing and attacking Trump.

Trump is running for President in 2024 but not as the republican nominee, Democrats should rejoice since this will allow whomever the Dems nominate an easy path back into the White House.

You're suggesting he may bolt if he doesn't get the Republican nomination? Intriguing, and entirely possible, IMO.

@dudley_tundish There are some rumblings that he will try to make his own MAGA party which would be a complete disaster

On his own MAGA party: that sure wouldn't come as a surprise. On the disaster: it would surely split any Republican vote, meaning Biden or whoever would cakewalk home.

Well, but it would give despicables something else to obsess over.
And expose the true Trump supporters from the deplorable supporters.
Shooter suspects true Trump supporters are a lot less than anyone thinks.

The basic problem with Trump is that he is a narcissist.

    "Overview
Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental health condition
in which people have an unreasonably high sense of their own importance.

They need and seek too much attention and want people to admire them.

People with this disorder may lack the ability to understand or care about the feelings of others. "

"Symptoms include an excessive need for admiration, disregard for others' feelings, an inability to handle any criticism and a sense of entitlement."

Narcissism is extreme self-involvement to the degree that it makes a person ignore the needs of those around them.
While everyone may show occasional narcissistic behavior,
true narcissists frequently disregard others or their feelings.
They also do not understand the effect that their behavior has on other people."

There can't really be more clearer evidence than has been seen in his public utterances ever since he first entered the presidential race as the infamous cunt grabber.

    More recently is the classic:

"If we win I should get all the credit ,
but if we loose I should bear none of the blame".

Who else could even say such a thing with a straight face ?

Of course we all know now that many of
"his candidates" did not win ,
    which means they lost"

But of course the narcissist blames everyone else , INCLUDING
his long suffering slave , his wife.

Of course it was her fault ,
    wasn't it ,
    we all saw that ,
    didn't we ?

if it wasn't made by Mr "ME" Trump ,
    that statement would be unbelievable.
