As usual when you post a link that's not what your article actually says. Which is why I always tell forum members to actually click on your links and check for themselves. Because you are quite often being dishonest.

The fact that gerrymandering in red states benefits treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans is a given. Millions more Democrats vote in every election but gerrymandering allows treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans to maintain minority rule. That was planned decades ago.

But the article has nothing to do with the House of Representatives. The Supreme Court case in the article is given the opportunity to keep gerrymandering legal or go full blown treason to the Constitution and just let state legislatures pick the winners of elections regardless of who won the most votes and turn states into fiefdoms where legislatures have complete power even over the courts and the state Constitution.

How's that for hating the United States of America and every great thing it has ever stood for. We refuse to live in a democracy if we are going to lose elections.

And this is why they are literally treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans. The Constitution is quite clear. Hold elections, count the votes, announce the winners, and have a peaceful transfer of power. But treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans refuse to live under the Constitution and the rule of law if they lose elections.

But this one does have a comical aspect to it. If the votes are not counted in Cochise County in Arizona it flips a House of Representatives seat to the Democrat.

Republicans in Arizona, Pennsylvania counties decline to certify midterm election results
    TAL AXELROD
    Mon, November 28, 2022 at 6:10 PM

Republican officials in two counties in Arizona and Pennsylvania declined on Monday to certify their midterm election results, with some citing concerns about the integrity of the voting system that have become commonplace among conservatives.

Republicans on the election boards of Cochise County in Arizona and Luzerne County in Pennsylvania voted against motions to certify the election results there.

Though Cochise County residents voted for GOP gubernatorial nominee Kari Lake and GOP Senate nominee Blake Masters, both candidates ultimately lost their statewide races.

Luzerne County residents voted for Democratic gubernatorial nominee Josh Shapiro and GOP Senate nominee Mehmet Oz, with Shapiro ultimately winning his bid and Oz falling short statewide.

MORE: Lake seeks election records in suit against Arizona county

Monday's vote in Cochise could risk the certification of more than 47,000 votes and exposes the county to lawsuits.

At Monday's meeting, Supervisor Tom Crosby proposed leaving the certification tabled until Friday, a motion that fellow Supervisor Peggy Judd seconded.

"This meeting agenda should have provided for interaction between subject matter experts on voter machines and representatives of the secretary of state's office," he said.

Ann English, the board's chair and a Democrat, disagreed, insisting there was "no reason for us to delay" and that "we have heard from every person more than once how they feel about the certification of machines."

"I feel that you both have the information necessary in order to make this decision that's nondiscretionary on our part to certify the election for Cochise County, no matter how you feel about what happened in Maricopa or Pima or Mohave or Apache. We're here to talk about Cochise County and our election," she said.

In a follow-up statement to ABC News, English said that she believes "it was unlawful for the Board to not certify the election as stated in the statutes."

"It is especially troubling to me when the other board members accept unsubstantiated ideas and unverified claims as facts instead of relying on the Arizona State Elections Office who told us the machines had been certified," she said. "Cochise County had an election without problems and our machine count and hand count matched 100%. We had no problems and all these claims are just grandstanding."

Arizona emerged as an epicenter of election misconduct claims in the midterm cycle, with Republican candidates seizing on printer issues in Maricopa County, which is home to Phoenix and about 60% of Arizona's population. Local officials have insisted that the issues did not prevent any voters' ballot from being counted, though Lake has continued to claim the issues cost her support.

Maricopa County officials unanimously voted on Monday to certify their county's results.

Neither Crosby nor Judd immediately responded to requests for comment regarding their votes.

In Luzerne County, two Republican members of the elections board voted against certifying the midterm results, two Democrats voted to certify and one Democratic member abstained.

Luzerne County faced a paper ballot shortage on Election Day, but voting hours were extended to ensure that all ballots could be cast.

The Luzerne County manager announced plans to resign the day after the election.

"There have been enough irregularities and enough discrepancies and enough disenfranchisement of disenfranchised voters in this county that I don't understand how we could possibly proceed without seriously considering a re-vote," Board of Elections Vice Chair James Magna, a Republican, said, according to ABC affiliate WNEP.

"We went over everything meticulously as far as the reconciliations, that's any anomalies were pretty much explained. And it was due to the confusion at the polls because of the paper shortage," added Democratic member Audrey Serniak.

MORE: Early voting underway for Georgia Senate runoff election

Daniel Schramm, the Democrat who abstained, said, "My feeling is I needed a little more information."

It is unclear how the county will proceed, though the state could get involved. The Pennsylvania Department of State told ABC News in a statement that it has contacted Luzerne County officials "to inquire about the board's decision and their intended next steps."

Schramm said later Monday that he will next vote to certify the results after he got answers to his specific questions, according to WNEP.

It is traditionally rare for a county to decline to certify elections, though speculation had bubbled prior to the midterms that local Republican officials could push to do so as the belief of widespread voter fraud and election malpractice grows within the GOP, spurred on by former President Donald Trump's baseless attacks on the 2020 election he lost to Joe Biden.

The issues are not anticipated to stop any election victors from being seated, though the moves do open the counties up to litigation, with prominent attorney Marc Elias warning of upcoming lawsuits.

On Monday, his firm said in a statement that they had filed suit against the Cochise County Board of Supervisors.

Officials with the Arizona secretary of state's office did not respond to a request for comment.

This amazes me and Trump is still the leader of the treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republican party. Prior to 2020 Republicans and Democrats used mail in voting in about equal numbers. But now thanks to Traitor Trump and his constant lies Democrats just buried Republicans in mail in voting in both the 2020 and 2022. And that is a big help in them winning elections. Its given the Democrats a huge advantage. And yet Trump keeps it up.

Besieged former President Donald Trump spent Tuesday morning firing off missives on his Truth Social account, lashing out in multiple directions over the loss by Kari Lake in Arizona and a general unhappiness with coverage of his meeting with a notorious anti-Semite.

The former president, who is being harshly criticized for consorting with Holocaust-denier Nick Fuentes, and who is also awaiting what is expected to be a rebuke for the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals over his attempt to avoid being investigated for stealing government documents and hiding them at Mar-a-Lago, also launched a diatribe about mail-in voting.

In one post on Truth Social, he raged, "RINO Karl Rove, a man with a losing record the likes of which few political operatives would be able to get away with, including his loss to me in 2016, fights so hard and so stupidly, but is constantly on Fox News and the once great Wall Street Journal, explaining how things should be done - and he doesn’t have a clue. People can’t stand him, a clone of even more unpopular Paul Ryan, who sadly runs Fox News, now on a very bad path. Rove is a DINIER (sic) of DINIERS (sic), which makes him a fool. WATCH!"

Changing directions, he then wrote, "Our Elections are Rigged. Mail-In Ballots are a total SCAM. How about all of those 'BROKEN' Republican Voting Machine? GET SMART REPUBLICANS, OR YOU WON’T HAVE A PARTY (OR COUNTRY) LEFT!" accompanied by a link to election deniers complaining about the certification of votes in Maricopa County where Republican Kari Lake went down to defeat.

RELATED: The GOP risks a 'full blown MAGA implosion': Newsweek reporter

Taking up mail-in ballots, he warned, "REMEMBER, YOU CAN NEVER HAVE FAIR & FREE ELECTIONS WITH MAIL-IN BALLOTS - NEVER, NEVER, NEVER. WON’T AND CAN’T HAPPEN!!!"

He then fell back on complaining about his presidential election loss to Joe Biden two years ago, with the former president writing, "I was 232-22 in the MIDTERM ELECTIONS, and still have to listen to DEMS, RINOS, and the Fake News explain how poorly I did (Also, 98.6% in Republican Nomination Endorsements!). Without my Endorsement of Republican Candidates, the numbers would have been a disaster. Same for 2018 and the CORRUPT ELECTION OF 2020, where almost everyone won because, and with the help of, ME - EXCEPT ME - and that’s because the Presidential Election was RIGGED & STOLEN!"

An Arizona County’s Refusal to Certify Election Results Could Cost GOP a House Seat

(Bloomberg) -- A rural Arizona county’s refusal to certify the results of the November election could cost Republicans a seat in the US House of Representatives, where they hold a narrow seven-seat majority.

I gotta believe, when push comes to shove and the county is sued by the state and they realize the House seat hangs in the balance, suddenly the vote results will get certified.

Walker is having a pretty rough time down there in Georgia where it turns out he doesn't really live and is a resident of Texas. Meaning he voted illegally in Georgia as well as becoming a candidate. There were already two women telling how the anti-abortion candidate forced them to have abortions, and then another ex came out this week recounting how he beat her up saying his mental illness was never cured as he claims and he is a phony liar totally unfit to be a Senator. Walker also took about five days off from campaigning over Thanksgiving which is a crucial time to be on the trail. And his campaign is broke begging for money getting out spent 2 to 1.

And then to top it off while Walker was hand picked by Trump to run for the Senate Trump does not dare show his face in Georgia because that would be enough to get people to vote against Walker. But former president Obama is welcomed there by the Warnock campaign.

Whee among other things Obama pointed out apparently one of the issues Walker is concentrating on is it better to be a Werewolf or a Vampire referring to one of Walker's recent speeches. And Obama readily admitted he also once pondered that issue; "When I was seven years old."

That does not mean Walker can't win because winning is the only thing that matters to treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans so of course they will vote for a mentally ill, lying, phony, carpet bagging dirt bag like Walker just like they voted for Trump. But Walker is doing everything he can to get Warnock

This should be fun. And who knows maybe the count is off. But if nothing else it will have Boebert twisting in the wind a little longer.

Colorado Secretary of State Announces Recount in Incredibly Tight Boebert, Frisch House Race

Democratic Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold has announced a mandatory recount in District 3’s 27 counties by Dec. 13. The vote differential between Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert and her Democratic opponent Adam Frisch is within 0.5 percent of Boebert’s votes, according to The Hill, making the recount mandatory. State law allows a recount if the difference between votes is within 0.5 percent of the winner’s votes, and Boebert received 50.08 percent of the vote for the House seat, while Frisch lost with 49.92 percent of the vote—a difference of about 550 votes. “The results of the District 3 race reinforce the fact that every vote matters,” Griswold said in a statement, according to The Hill. “Colorado voters have made their voices heard, and I am ordering this recount in accordance with Colorado law to confirm the will of the voters.”

Sen. Raphael Warnock triumphs in Georgia Senate race against Herschel Walker

An astronomical number of voters cast their ballots early in the Georgia runoff election. In fact, as of Monday, 77,000 people who had not voted in the 2022 midterm election in November cast their ballots in the runoff.

According to NBC News and Cook Political Report, incumbent Sen. Rev. Raphael Warnock has won the race against Trump-endorsed NFL veteran Herschel Walker.

The latter had been plagued with a number of scandals and ongoing mockery for bizarre statements he's made in speeches. The comments even led former President Barack Obama to needle the former Heisman Trophy winner for his urgency to talk about the vampire vs. werewolf battle Walker saw in a movie.

Republicans rushed to aid Walker in his race with small rallies outside of his bus driving around the state. Sens. Ted Cruz (R-TX), Lindsey Graham (R-SC), John Kennedy (R-LA), and Tim Scott (R-SC), to name a few.

Toward the end, the polls had Warnock ahead of Walker but still within the margin of error. MSNBC reporters on the ground said that the lines in Democratic strongholds were mostly quiet, while conservative counties have been plagued with lines.

The ongoing question was always whether Republicans could get voters to care about the race because it would not throw the balance of power to the GOP the way it did in 2020.

The new voting law put in place did have an impact on several voters, one election official told MSNBC earlier on Tuesday that for every two voters she has to tell one person that they're in the wrong place.

Walker held back from campaigning over the Thanksgiving break, spending his time focusing on a single day at the Georgia football game.

NBC News reported Monday that Cobb County Republican Robert Trim, who won a state house seat in November, said he was supporting Walker, but he wasn't convinced Walker could win it. He compared the Walker run to ex-Sen. David Perdue's (R-GA) failed runoff in 2020, where he lost to now Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-GA).

“I don’t feel very confident,” Trim said. “I never have felt confident in where he’s positioned. So I’m probably less confident now than I was before.”

And only by a matter of minutes.

It is a huge win to get that 51 seats which is why treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republican Senators were just pounding the campaign trail with Walker in the final days. Because they know Chuck Schumer and the Democrats are just going to bend them over and make them take it with 51. And I believe especially with judicial appointments which they can no longer stop.

But there's not much they could do for the handpicked Trump candidate that turned out to be the worst in modern history at least.

What is so fucking hilarious abut this is it so much more than just picking up another Senate seat. Progressive/liberal/Democrats had three really big problems with a 50/50 Senate even though they got an historical amount of really huge bills passed. But they could have gotten so much more done but with a 50/50 Senate all committees had to have equal numbers of Democrats and Republicans which allowed the Republicans to shut down all kinds of things. And then all of a sudden Manchin and Sinema because the most powerful Senators because on any given thing they might vote against their own party. So progressive/liberal/Democrats had to be always kissing their assesa. But a 51 seat majority dramatically changes all those problems.

All because Traitor Trump was still pushing his big lie and went out and hand selected candidates he knew would be slaves to him and his treason. And in Trump's mentally ill brain what could be better than a celebrity Black guy to run against another Black guy in Georgia for the Senate. So Trump not only handpicked Herschel Walker, he then endorsed him, and rammed him down the throats of Georgia Republicans against their better sense and will. Just like Trump did in races all over the country most of which were lost because treason just isn't that great of a winning campaign these days. Which is why after all that Trump didn't even dare show his face in Georgia while Walker was going down at his own mentally ill, phony, lying, hypocritical, carpet bagging hands.

Herschel Walker's son says Trump called his father for months demanding that he run, while 'everyone with a brain' begged him not to

    • Herschel Walker, the GOP US Senate candidate in Georgia, lost to his Democratic rival on Tuesday.

    • Walker's son said his father ran after Trump spent months calling and "demanding" that he do so.

    • His son said that "everyone with a brain" urged Walker not to run because of his "insane past."
Herschel Walker's son said his father ran in Georgia's US Senate race after former President Donald Trump spent months demanding that he do so, even as others begged Walker not to enter the race over his "insane past."

The Democrat Raphael Warnock defeated Walker in the Senate runoff election on Tuesday. Walker's campaign had been marked by allegations including that he paid for women to have abortions despite taking a strict stance against abortion access.

His son, Christian Walker, tweeted on Tuesday that his father had rejected calls not to run after Trump repeatedly told him to enter the race.

"The Truth: Trump called my dad for months DEMANDING that he run," Christian Walker said. "Everyone with a brain begged him: 'PLEASE DON'T DO THIS. This is too dirty, you have an insane past… PLEASE DONT DO THIS.' We got the middle finger. He ran."

He also accused the Republican Party of running his father in the election because of his skin color.

"Republicans, we say we don't play 'identity politics' and then you ran this man mainly because he was the same skin color as his opponent with no background other than football," he tweeted. "A boring old Republican could have won."

Christian Walker, who is estranged from his father, publicly criticized Herschel Walker during the campaign. In October, after a report detailed allegations that Herschel Walker had urged and paid for a woman he was dating in 2009 to get an abortion, Christian Walker accused his father of lying and of abusive behavior.

"You're not a 'family man' when you left us to bang a bunch of women, threatened to kill us, and had us move over 6 times in 6 months running from your violence," he tweeted.

Christian Walker was otherwise generally quiet through much of the campaign but said on Tuesday on Twitter Spaces that he could speak freely now that the election was over and he didn't risk driving voters to the Democratic candidate, The New York Times reported.

The Times described Christian Walker as a right-wing influencer who has supported Trump.

During the Senate campaign, Herschel Walker was accused of hiding "secret" children and of pressuring two women to have abortions, which he has denied.

An ex-girlfriend also accused him of attacking her after she caught him with another woman. Herschel Walker has not commented publicly on the allegation.

Walker's defeat on Tuesday means the Democratic Party has gained an outright majority in the Senate, with 51 seats compared with 49 for the Republican Party.

They do love reminding us that we live in a republic. It gives them the excuse for overturning the will of the people. They're already doing it with referendums...

You cannot have a "Republic" without democracy and majority rule. And when treasonous conservative/ America Hating/Republicans try to split hairs and say we are not a democracy we are a Constitutional Republic they are either woefully ignorant of what either of those terms mean or just flat out lying.

The Constitution is based on majority rule where in almost all cases all you need is one more vote then your opponent to win. And the same is true with passing legislation.

With only two exceptions. One being the outdated and corrupted electoral college. And the other in the US and some state Senates where they invented a filibuster rule.

So when treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans say we are a Constitutional Republic all they really mean is we demand seniority rule, governed by Sharia For Law For Christians and enforced by the American Taliban at the local level. They sure as fuck don't want a Constitution or a Republic.

But I do have a slightly different take on "referendums." What I am seeing especially after the midterms are treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans panicking trying to find ways to restrict referendums, eliminate them entirely, or just ignore the will of the people who voted for them sometimes even against their own state Constitutions. Because that is another form of democracy they cannot control and the majority of people in a state might vote against them.

Which is the very essence of a case before the Supreme Court right now where treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans in red states are asking the court to rule it is state legislatures that have ultimate power over both the courts and the will of the people. Which would allow them to simply choose who they want to win no matter who the people voted for

Which is why they keep reminding us we live in a republic. It makes it appear that the legislature is the highest political body!

Ohio is one of those states that is making it harder to get things on the ballot. They are proposing a sixty percent majority of signatures, just to get something on the ballot. They want a super majority just to get a chance to vote on it as a simple majority!

Several states are trying to make it harder if not impossible to get referendums on the ballot because they thwart their minority rule. They can gerrymander to keep treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans in control of state legislatures. But residents can defeat them by getting referendums on the ballots and let the true majority decide. And that is threat to their minority rule.

Fox News Guest: MAGA Candidates Did 5 Points Worse In Midterms
When Sen. Romney called Trump a kiss of death, he was right.

    1
    By John Amato — December 11, 2022
On Fox News' Media Buzz, frequent Fox guest Guy Benson said the results of the midterm elections show that Trump-aligned candidates did five points worse than regular Republicans.

The MAGA cultists turned their vitriol against Mitch McConnell and the RNC to blame for their putrid midterm, but the real culprits were Trump and those that blindly support him.

    00:03 00:47

Howard Kurtz did a quick segment on the Republican blame game.

"Nate Cohen, he looked at the numbers and found that Republicans most associated closely with Donald Trump, sort of the MAGA, Trump blessed folks, they on average under-performed by five points, five percentage points across the country," Benson said. "That is a significant penalty, if you will, especially in close races."

"A lot of independents couldn't bring themselves to vote for certain kinds of Republicans," he said.

In response to this, Trump already started his presidential run even before the New Year, and the rest of the MAGA cult are still screaming about non-existent voter fraud and cheating.
