  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

Shooter's dad had cardiac surgery in 1970. We were told he could very well not survive.
Shooter had cardiac surgery in 2016. They kicked is butt out of the hospital 2 days later.
One of the people in Shooter's rehab class had a heart transplant and she was out of the hospital in 3 days.
Stent procedures are done on an outpatient basis.
Life expectancy for heart transplant patients now is 10-15 years.

Twenty-nine years ago today, Frank Zappa passed away. I first saw him clean cut and shaved on the Steve Allen show playing the bicycle. Later, I saw him long haired and bearded with the Mothers of Invention on the same show. I was an early fan, and where lots of my friends heard noise... I heard Charlie Parker and Diz's style of Bebop, Avant Garde and whole lot of dissonance I'd never heard in music before. I liked what he did, but I never really got it until he conducted the LA Philharmonic. Nowadays when I see 200 Motels, Uncle Meat, or listen to St. Alphonso's Pancake Breakfast, I realize I'm a better music listener because of that weirdo from Antelope Valley. Love ya' Frank.

Carrier USS Enterprise and her task group (Enterprise, Northampton, Chester, Salt Lake City, Balch, Maury, Craven, Gridley, McCall, Dunlap, Benham, Fanning, & Ellet) encountered heavy weather which delayed the refueling operation for the destroyers and delayed the group's scheduled return to Pearl Harbor.

There is a story--apocryphal or not, I'm unsure--that a group of extreme fanatic kamikaze pilots were preparing to take off with the Missouri as their target, and only some vigorous last-minute intervention from Hirohito's brother talked them out of it. If we assume the story is true, and that they had gone on that mission, the world would likely have cheered on the US to do pretty much anything to settle the score for that level of treachery.

Well, @lvx200 the word is, the US didn't have a third bomb. Its why they backed away from their demand of unconditional surrender.
Well, that and that Russia had just declared war and was racing across manchuria ....

@dudley_tundish, I have read, or watched on TV, the same concerning a potential attack on the Missouri. In that regard, the US and allies maintained a strong CAP (Combat Air Patrol) and a surrounding ship picket per the same story.
