I had today off and I got a ton done! I did launfey, cleaned, baked, and studied. Tonight I think I’ll play some video games.

 

Good enough for a Monday - it's not really over (work, anyway) for another 25 minutes, but it's over...

And I feel soooo... not guilty.

 

It was a normal day.

Started off not on a high note. First I forgot my lunch then couldn’t get logged into my PC. Later found it was related to a stuck keyboard.

Remainder of the day it was business as usual. Dealt with calls during the day. Chatted with my colleague here and there. Had laughs at my expense.

Chatted with financial advisor at lunch and had meeting with CEO beforehand.

Walked cherrypup around block.

I’m laying on couch and just got off work. Going to listen to music and write.

Got dental appt tomorrow.

 

It wan an OK day. Built a house for three princesses out of big legos; saved a princess from the evil slinky; fixed a grilled cheese sandwich; got some cheese snacks then was summarily ignored by a 4 year old while she watched Paw Patrol. Then came the tickle match, which I won, and big hugs before she left.

Then I had my WoW training session. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks?! The tricks just sink in a bit slower is all.

My day was great =) I'm away for work for the whole week, worked 10 hours again then ended my day with a walk with a beautiful view of the river, can't get any closer cause it's flooded out =/ lol still nice tho

 

It was normal day again.

Went to dental cleaning appt this morning then afterwards drove down the street to my orthodontist. Arrived at work about 1 hr and 30 min late. Remainder of the day it was business as usual. Phone calls were slow pretty much. Chatted with colleague next to me as well.

It's a fine Tuesday - did all my regular writing stuff - finished my back east blog for tomorrow. I had a fairly inordinate number of calls from clients asking for service, so I entered tickets for them and they all got taken care of (I get the overflow if the service phones are busy).

It's not just okay, it's great! It's an excellent chance for me to show our very real concern for our clients and interact with them in a positive, rapport building way. I love that aspect of my job. Our clients need a fun, responsive and responsible voice that will tend to their needs.

It's been a great day.

 

Odd, a friend came by to take me to pick up the ring, it looks perfect and she is going to love it. While we were out he got a call that kind of derailed the rest of the day, the idea was I buy lunch since he drove but since he is a volunteer firefighter and there was a hay fire close by he got called. I got to watch in town firefighters try to learn to put down a fire in hay bales. But now I am home waiting on Celia so we can talk more about her going to school because she needs an education no matter what, dinner is ready, I made a roast in my instantpot with the veggies and all that, I grabbed her a slice of cake from a diner she loves, and the fire is lit. One day I will have to get cable btu that would also mean getting a damn television as well.

It's been a standard, pretty easy going day - writing, sent my back east blog to our web developers for posting and had a variety of non-pressing duties to see to.

It was normal day.

Had two company meetings today and was off the phones for about 2 hrs. Overall it was slow. Chatted with colleague next to me and had laughs at my expense. Left late about by 6 min.

Walked cherrypup around block while it was sprinkling rain.

Im laying on couch watching final season of “The Flash”. Will write as well.

 

Sat on my ass all day drinking beer and watching old movies, very productive.

 

It pretty much sucked except for a few lovely moments talking with my love.

 

It was normal day.

This morning I had to drive in the snow and wasn’t expected on our local weather forecast. Chatted with colleague as she was not able to come into office.

As of work it was the same as usual. Phone calls picked up later on. Employer had a chili event in celebration of Super Bowl this weekend. Got to eat lunch for free and vote on best chili. During the event they had Chiefs games broadcasted on screen. Can’t wait for Sunday.

Brought in lunch but forgot to take it home.

Walked cherrypup after work and I melted away later on.

I’m laying on couch and was writing. Will play Witcher 3 later on.

 

It was mostly good - wrote, helped a couple of clients and got my taxes done. Not happy that I owe the Feds around $1400, but there ya go.

Overall, it's been fine.

 

It was again a normal day.

Till 12 pm phone calls were slow then it picked up like usual. Chatted with a colleague a few times during the day. No lunch again as my shift ends at 2 pm.

Walked cherrypup around block after work then cleaned house.

Got a bit aggrevated a piece of mail today from my state. It tells me to pay money due to an overpayment of unemployment from a year ago. Called my local senator to complain which went no where. Will deal with it next week.

For dinner I went to Wendy’s to buy two Bacanators then 7-11 to treat myself to chocolate.

I’m laying on couch listening to music. Will play Witcher 3 later.

 

It was great - way too easy! Handled client calls and got them sorted out - mostly opening tickets for IT service calls (I get overflow calls from the main office phone, so they were either short-handed there or just too busy). Still, I don't mind at all. I know I've said this before, but it's an invaluable way to keep a warm, personal connection with our clientele.

I'm so far ahead on my blogs that I finished Monday's and already started working on next Wednesday's.

And now it's Friday night...

 

As usual a long hard busy day. However very productive and rewarding.

 

I’m taking my dad out to get new shoes today and then hanging out with my kid ☺️
