This is another false narrative we see here all the time. Treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans screaming Robert Mueller found no "collusion" between the Trump campaign and Putin/Russia. Which is a total lie. Mueller found more than 140 instances of members of the Trump campaign colluding with Russians. Including Don Jr meeting with Russian agents to get drift on Hillary Clinton. But as Mueller clearly states in his report they did not look at collusion because it is not a legal term. Instead Mueller had to prove the much higher bar of "conspiracy." Which again as Mueller states in his report they could not do because witnesses lied and destroyed evidence. And he concluded Don Jr was too fucking stupid to know he was breaking the law. Which is the first time I ever saw ignorance of the law be an excuse.

‘Nonsense!’ Jen Psaki and Chris Sununu Clash Over Russian Collusion Narrative
    By Isaac SchorrJun 6th, 2023, 10:34 am
    155 comments

New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu (R) and former White House press secretary turned MSNBC personality Jen Psaki clashed over allegations that Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign colluded with the Russian Government on Monday night.

The conversation began with Psaki asking Sununu if the myriad ongoing investigations into Trump — and possible additional impending indictments of the former president — would harm his political prospects.

Sununu responded, impassionedly, in the negative:

No, no! No, no no. Obviously they don’t. They absolutely don’t matter, no. These indictments, and if I may, accommodation of the media, you’re creating the boy who cried wolf syndrome, right? What happened in New York was wrong. I mean it really was. They’re beating up on Trump for political reasons and everybody sees that. What happened with the Russian “collusion” that never existed effectively exonerated the guy so he can play a victim card. You’ve all created a situation where, what kind of planet are we on where Donald Trump’s become the victim?

At that point, Psaki interjected to object.

“I have to stop you on there because we know very clearly that Putin and the Kremlin did intervene in our election in order to try to help Donald Trump back in 2016. So we know that is true,” said the former Democratic operative. “But you may think that they shouldn’t engage in this as a messaging tool because it’s not helpful to them. Is that what you’re saying?”

Sununu replied by explaining that he was “not gonna relitigate, you know, the Russian collusion nonsense that went on for two years where-” when Psaki interrupted again:

PSAKI: You don’t need to relitigate, It’s been litigated! By lawyers and investigations.”

    SUNUNU: Yeah, yeah it’s nonsense.

PSAKI: That’s arguably not true, but continue.

SUNUNU: Yeah but nobody buys that any attack on Trump is anything but political. You’ve created, everyone has kind of created this scenario and he is playing it to the fullest. He is playing the violin strings better than anyone imagined, which is why his poll numbers, miraculously, are actually going up.

So these candidates are gonna have to get on the stage, talk about what they’re gonna do going forward. Every one of them has to call him out. If you’re not calling out Donald Trump for the non-Republican that he really is, for the mistakes he made in the past, then you don’t deserve to be on the stage. We’re not here to run for vice president, we’re not here to sell books.

Sununu was mulling a bid for the presidency, but announced his decision not to run on Monday, citing his interest in seeing Trump beaten out for the Republican nomination, and for Republicans to retake the White House.

Ah, so dealing with the fall out of an insurrection is nothing by comparison to you.

Either way, you'd whine, so your point is moot! You put party before country.

      The doj has 115,000 employees.
Surely, in two years, they could find someone to file the indictment, don't you think?
      Whatever.

Maybe you should contact Boebert's office and have them get right on it! I'm sure she'd be very happy to help.

MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow helped to boost her network on Monday to a prime time win over Fox News and CNN.

MSNBC averaged 1.86 million total viewers from 8 to 11 p.m. on Monday, while Fox News averaged 1.73 million. MSNBC also won in the key 25-54 age demographic with 170,000 average viewers to Fox’s 119,000. CNN averaged 529,000 total viewers and 126,000 demo viewers, landing in third and second place — respectively.

While CNN beat Fox in the prime time demo average, the network also tied MSNBC for first in the 8 p.m. demo and beat Fox in the 9 p.m. demo. CNN also scored some rare day time wins, beating both Fox and MSNBC in the demo between 8 and 10 a.m.

Maddow had the highest-rated show in prime time with 2.46 million total viewers and 222,000 demo viewers. Fox’s The Five was the highest-rated show for the day with 2.64 million total viewers and 309,000 demo viewers. Fox also won the day, yet again, in both total day averages.

Notably, NewsNation’s Elizabeth Vargas and Chris Cuomo also beat their Newsmax competition in the demo.

MSNBC’s prime time line up swept the competition on Thursday night as news of Donald Trump’s federal indictment broke.

Chris Hayes, Alex Wagner, and Lawrence O’Donnell all won their respective hours between 8 and 11 p.m. in both total viewers and in the key 25-54 age demographic.

MSNBC led prime time averages with 2.43 million total viewers, followed closely by Fox News’s 2.15 million. CNN landed in third place with 1.13 million total viewers — a major boost for the network.

In the demo, MSNBC won prime time with 342,000 viewers, beating CNN’s 256,000. Fox News landed third with 231,000 prime time demo viewers as the network continues to regain viewers lost after Tucker Carlson, who often led cable news in the demo, was fired.

Fox News still won the day in total day demo and total viewer averages.

I am sure not all would find this entertaining. But MSNBC has of course been on this all day with panels of most their prime time line up and tons of pundits. But about this time its down to just plain comical with the things they are digging out of the indictment. They have Trump's grand proclamations of what Trump was saying in public juxtaposed against Trump's own words in the indictment. And that is something treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans might want to pay attention to. No one has ever seen an indictment with this many direct quotes from Trump his inner circle and lawyers. And the DOJ cannot be putting things in quotes unless they have proof to back them up. Courts do not tolerate that on the part of the government and they will throw your case out of court for it.

Eric Swalwell Tells Medhi Hasan Republicans in Congress ‘Actually Work As a Law Firm’ For Donald Trump
    By Caleb HoweJun 11th, 2023, 9:28 pm

California Democrat and former House Intel Committee member Rep. Eric Swalwell said Sunday that congressional Republicans “act as a law firm” for Donald Trump and are offering defenses the ex-president “doesn’t even want.”

Swalwell joined MSNBC’s Medhi Hasan on Sunday to discuss the criminal indictment of Trump and the reactions to it from Republicans in congress, such as Sen. Lindsey Graham’s on This Week and Rep. Jim Jordan’s on CNN’s State of the Union.

Hasan asked Swalwell whether the “so-called ‘tough on crime’ party” was telling criminals to “just run for president” with their objections to the prosecution of Trump, and Swalwell added that the GOP is “the party of law and disorder, now.”

“And actually, they work as a law firm for Donald Trump, with Jim Jordan being the managing partner,” said Swalwell. “And what’s so striking to me, though, is, and I’ve seen this before as a prosecutor, is that they are offering Donald Trump defenses that he doesn’t even want!”

“I’ve heard, you know, so many different defenses from Lindsey Graham and Jim Jordan, you know, about, you know, the National Archives and the Presidential Records Act,” he said. “But at the end of the day, what Donald Trump is saying is, ‘if I did it, it’s legal, because I did it.’ And that relates to everything. ‘It’s a perfect phone call when I shake down President Zelensky because I’m the one that made the phone call.'”

Swalwell, who tweeted memes on Saturday about his own removal from the Intel committee, rhetorically asked what would be the alternative to prosecution.

“What was the FBI and the Department of Justice to do? To just allow Mar-a-Lago to continue to operate like a Barnes & Noble, where anybody could come in and look at classified documents that Donald Trump had in his possession?” he said.

Republicans ‘brought to their knees’ with ‘Trump’s insatiable appetite for violence’: Nicolle Wallace

    June 12, 2023, 6:14 PM ET

Every day in America, someone is charged with federal crimes and must appear in federal courthouses. There's never any violence or an uprising. But as June 13 approaches, there is a fear that the "thinly veiled threats" about potential violence at the Miami courthouse are more than bluster.

Mary McCord, who previously worked as the acting assistant attorney general for national security at the U.S. Department of Justice, spoke to MSNBC about it on Monday, saying that she was fearful Trump's arraignment could turn into another Jan. 6.

"This is something that's been building up over the years," McCord told MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace. "And you can already see it, if you just kind of compare this type of rhetoric from a few years ago, like pre-2020, to where we are now ... You see a consistent drumbeat of thinly-veiled calls to violence that get thinner and thinner. It seems like elected officials have continued to push the envelope of, you know, what they think they can get by with doing. What will come just short of crossing that line into a threat that is a crime or incitement to imminent violence, which is a crime, and others are not condemning it? So, it normalizes this type of rhetoric; it normalizes this type of violence."

Speaking to The New York Times over the weekend, McCord said that until there is some accountability for those using that kind of rhetoric, including elected officials, it's never going to stop.

"Instead, what happens is the people who listen to it, the people who feel like it's giving them permission to go out and engage in acts of harassment, intimidation, and violence, they're the ones who ultimately pay the price. We've seen that with the thousand prosecutions after Jan. 6th. If there are lone actors or groups that interrupt the judicial proceedings or engage in threats or intimidation near the courthouse, they may be arrested for various crimes they committed. Yet, too often, these elected officials who are really calling for it and normalizing it and giving permission oftentimes go scot-free. So, this is a dangerous spiral that we're in of continuing to escalate this kind of rhetoric that causes real-world actions."

Wallace harkened back to Timothy McVeigh, the Oklahoma City bomber at Waco, watching the drama unfold.

"Now you have a lot of the Jan. 6th enthusiasts pointing back to that and toward tomorrow in Miami," said Wallace. She then quoted people calling for "war" and for "blood." "MAGA will make Waco look like a tea party."

McCord noted that some of the threats could be actionable for the FBI. She's hoping that the mistakes of Jan. 6 helped law enforcement be more prepared to fully mobilize.

"It is surreal to have this conversation in private, having worked in the government," Wallace confessed. (She previously worked for George W. Bush's administration.)

"It is indescribable to have it on live TV and to have been a part of the party that is now part of the rot and threat to domestic security in the United States," Wallace added. I remember, and I think based on his early messages as a candidate, he won't mind if I disclose this for the first time. I remember talking to Chris Christie after Trump said 'Stand back and stand by,' to the Proud Boys. I think him explaining why he wouldn't do it. I understood not just Trump's enthusiasm for the support of anyone and everyone, including David Duke, but Trump's insatiable appetite for violence carried out. And that was the fall of 2016. What it has brought is — it's brought the entire Republican Party to its hands and knees."

She went on to call the GOP "impotent" for being unable to do anything to stop the violence from their own side and, in some cases, their own officials.

"If they decided today, this is not how they want the country to be... it's too late. It's too late. If this is something I could find before I came on the air, do you know what the radicalized extremists found? They're awash in violent tactical instructions on exactly how to carry out retribution for their leader, Donald Trump. What do we do?"

MSNBC’s Psaki Roasts Trump Because Nobody Showed Up To Riot Over His Arrest: ‘Issue With His Political Power’
    By Tommy ChristopherJun 15th, 2023, 2:56 pm

MSNBC host Jen Psaki roasted ex-President Donald Trump because nobody showed up to riot over his arrest, demonstrating he has “issues with his political power.”

Trump was arrested and arraigned Tuesday in Miami after his indictment on 37 counts for violating the Espionage Act, and entered a plea of “not guilty” through his attorney. And while there were a few ostentatious protesters on each side, there was no large-scale protest or unrest.

On Thursday’s edition of MSNBC’s Ana Cabrera Reports, Psaki expanded on her critique of Trump’s aggressive PR strategy, and found a silver lining by saying that while Trump has “called for people to come protest even violently,” few showed up to the courthouse this week:

ANA CABRERA: You write on MSNBC.com. Lest anyone has forgotten, Trump is a former and arguably current reality television creator and star, and he values an aggressive public relations strategy. I wonder, is that aggressive strategy hurting him?

JEN PSAKI: Well, I think it’s too early to know. Ana, I mean, I think there’s a difference between the primary, as Al just said, and also the general election. And we’ve also seen in polling that there are a number of independent voters who do have concerns about the indictment over the handling of classified documents. That doesn’t sit well with them. And that’s a problem for him in a general election.

But I will say, in addition to the money, what is interesting and a good sign, I would say, is I would say, is that even though he has called for his supporters, called for people to come protest even violently, he, they did not show up outside of the Florida courthouse. We saw something similar in New York.

That is an indication of, kind of some issues with his political power, as is the fact that there are some Republican candidates, from Pence to Haley to some degree, to Tim Scott, who are kind of being critical for the first time of Trump in a little bit more of an aggressive way.

Watch above via MSNBC’s Ana Cabrera Reports.

The despicable media predicted riots at the Trump arraignment.

When that didn't happen (well except for one protester who wanted Trump jailed who got himself arrested) the despicables had to find a demon to blame for their exposed propaganda.

Another one of your false illusions of truth. What the media covered was Trump and all the other treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans threatening violence or even civil war. Trump called for violence himself. But he is becoming impotent to get his cult followers to commit violence.

What the national security experts and media fears is not another riot like J6. Its the lone wolf type of attack like we see in Trump inspired mass shootings.

One of the things that has been just fucking hilarious all through the Trump documents case is every time he opens his mouth about why he shouldn't be prosecuted there is dozens of videos and tweets where he is screaming about how he will protect classified material and any one caught with classified material will go to prison. In fact Trump got Congress to increase the sentences for the crimes he is charged with now.

Mehdi Hasan Destroys GOP's Key Pro-Trump Argument In Just 60 Seconds

MSNBC’s Mehdi Hasan needed just 60 seconds to dismantle one of the most common lines of defense used by Donald Trump and his supporters.

It’s the notion that if Trump can be indicted and prosecuted, so can anyone else.

“If they can come for President Trump, they can come for you too,” Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.), a Trump loyalist, wrote on Twitter after the former president was indicted on 37 federal charges in the classified documents scandal.

Some version of that line has been repeated by many others in Trump’s corner.

But Hasan made short work of the argument by listing people the Trump administration sent to prison for the very same charges the former president now faces.

And he did it in a minute:

The fact is, Stumbler was screeching political violence on the part of deplorables at the Trump arraignment. Now that it didn't happen (there's a surprise, NOT) he's dodging faster than a running back hitting the front line.
And all this is a favorite ploy of the left; allege that the right is going violent to get what it wants. The reality is, the left wants to see violence from the right and is willing to sell the idea to the masses.

And the point is not that anyone was predicting violence. Although it could still happen especially with lone world attacks. The point is how what used to be a political party are now treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans calling for violence and even civil war because Trump got indicted.

How can you hate the United States of America more than that?

Shooters own words of violence... Stumbler posted the link above to the original post...

Tell us again how this wasn't a threat?

Either you are truly brainwashed by the despicable American haters on the forum or the dumbest troll ever spawned.
Either way, take the last word, two aspirin, and go to bed.

And are trumptards brainwashed into believing Trump actually won the 2020 election? I still haven't seen trumplicans give a single instance where the Trump admin showed the election was stolen.
So on what did trumplicans base their refusal to certify Biden's victory on Jan 6th?

Surely not just on Trump's say so. Surely not, eh?
