Lauren Boebert’s Most Glaring Hypocrisy Yet Called Out On Twitter

    1k

Conspiracy theorist Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) is getting slammed on social media for complaining about a problem after she explicitly voted against funding to help solve it.

The far-right lawmaker griped about the nation’s crumbling infrastructure, tweeting about recent rail and highway issues and writing that “stuff like this is going on constantly in America.”

But as her critics were quick to point out, Boebert was among the 200 Republican lawmakers in the House who voted against President Joe Biden’s signature infrastructure package.

The deal, which passed in 2021, provides $1.2 trillion to help repair, replace and modernize the nation’s aging roads, highways, bridges and more ― or exactly what Boebert said is “falling down around us” in a Twitter message posted on Wednesday:

Both specific incidents Boebert complained about were actually caused by accidents rather than aging infrastructure.

The train derailed when it struck a truck, injuring 15 people, while the I-95 collapse was caused when a gasoline tanker truck crashed beneath an overpass and caught fire, killing the driver.

However, her concerns about infrastructure “falling down” are widely shared, with engineers warning that many of the nation’s roads, bridges, waterways and more are in dire need of repair and modernization.

The 2021 infrastructure deal was aimed at addressing exactly that ― yet Boebert voted against it.

The lawmaker’s critics called her out for the glaring hypocrisy:

You're entitled to your opinion but not your facts.

When the circus offered up nothing but the video and testimony that fit the conclusions they had arrived at before the first witness was sworn, and buried the rest in the national archives we all knew what we would see would be nothing but a shit show for liberal cult members.

We didn't watch hearings, we watched a carefully edited, professionally produced, propaganda campaign.

Lauren Boebert compares Donald Trump to disgraced Brazilian ex-president

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) on Friday likened Donald Trump’s plight to that of disgraced Brazilian former President Jair Bolsonaro.

The far-right congresswoman suggested that special counsel Jack Smith’s prosecution of Trump is politically motivated, but she did the former president no favors comparing him to Bolsonaro.

She isn’t the first to make the comparison.

Both leaders are election deniers who inspired failed insurrections after spreading baseless theories of voter fraud.

Bolsonaro was found guilty of abusing his power and misusing public media during last year’s election, and Brazil’s highest electoral court on Friday issued a ruling that bars him for running for public office until 2030.

Brazilian prosecutors alleged that Bolsonaro in July 2022 held a meeting with foreign ambassador in which he spread misinformation about Brazil’s electoral system.

Trump is facing a 37-count indictment over allegations he mishandled classified documents.

“That's EXACTLY what the American liberals are trying to do through the court system here,” Boebert tweeted.

“Unbelievable how liberals use lawfare since they can't win fairly.”

Lauren Boebert cries 'harassment' after Democrat calls her 'rancid on the inside'

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) objected on Monday after a former Colorado state representative said she was "rancid on the inside."

In a tweet on Sunday, Colorado Democratic National Committee member Joe Salazar, a former state lawmaker, blasted Boebert over a photo she posted.

"I really don't care if @laurenboebert has makeup on or doesn't," Salazar wrote. "I don't care if she's well educated or not."

"She is rancid inside and her poison pollutes our society. She needs to be replaced," he continued.

Salazar added a plug for Boebert's potential Democratic opponent, Adam Frisch.

"The misogyny of calling a woman 'rancid' for taking a selfie isn't lost on me," Boebert complained on Monday. "Sadly, this is the harassment so many conservative women go through every day for simply existing."

It was not clear if Boebert had reported the tweet for alleged harassment.

Again the stupid ignorance (two different things) just screams. No one can be impeached just because you don't like them and their policies. You have to be able to prove high crimes or misdemeanors and she does not have a clue.

'There's so many people to impeach': Lauren Boebert admits she can't keep track

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) can't keep track of all the Biden administration officials she wants to impeach.

During an interview with Charlie Kirk, Boebert confused the potential impeachment of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas with the possible impeachment of Attorney General Merrick Garland.

"What can we expect from the House Republican Conference to start putting points on the board here against this crime syndicate?" Kirk asked.

"Well, so Chairman Mark Green (R-TN) already has, excuse me, sorry, I was thinking about Mayorkas for just a second," Boebert said. "There's so many people we want to impeach."

"We know that Merrick Garland needs to be impeached," she added. "We need to give jurisdiction to start actually looking into this, just like I did with the impeachment for [President] Joe Biden, giving the Homeland Security Committee jurisdiction for an impeachment inquiry."

Boebert said she would force a vote on the impeachment of Biden if Republicans did not act quickly.

"I still need everyone to continue to put pressure on their members of Congress to make sure that this inquiry actually comes up in the Homeland Security Committee," she explained. "I have been promised that it will."

"Because currently, if we're going to get jerked around and this inquiry doesn't take place, I want due process," she concluded. "So I forced the vote on the House floor and was promised that this would actually take place. If it does not, I will once again call up articles of impeachment and force a straight up and down vote."

Lauren Boebert must 'take credit for stuff she had absolutely nothing to do with' to win again: GOP lawmaker

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) squeaked out a razor-thin victory during the 2022 midterm elections, but that hasn't led her to reconsider he brash and confrontational approach to politics.

NBC News reports that some Republicans are concerned about Boebert heading into 2024, with Democratic rival Adam Frisch seeking a rematch after losing last year by fewer than 600 votes.

One Republican lawmaker tells NBC that Boebert needs to stop acting like herself in order to ensure she gets reelected next year.

"Her ass needs to get home to go campaign," the lawmaker said. "Cut ribbons, go to bar mitzvahs and take credit for stuff she had absolutely nothing to do with."

FROM EARLIER: DeSantis has 'entered a familiar cycle that often ends in collapse': reporter

Dick Wadhams, the former chairman of the Colorado Republican Party, tells NBC that many Republicans in Colorado are "bewildered" by her approach of maximizing controversy on culture-war issues and picking fights with fellow Republicans, despite the fact that voters in her district have signaled that they are growing tired of that approach.

“The perception, whether it’s fair or not, is that Congresswoman Boebert has paid more attention to fighting these battles within the Republican Party than she has paid attention to the district,” he said. “Now, I’m sure her office would refute that. The trouble is it gets obscured by how she conducts herself. And that’s what she’s battling right now.”

Democrat Frisch zeroed in on such criticisms of Boebert during an interview with NBC.

"“People want the circus to stop,” he said. “She’s one of these people that continues to love to get on Twitter and cable news networks and yell and scream.”

Boebert’s Democratic Challenger Triples Her Fundraising As She Battles to Keep Vulnerable Seat

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) has been outraised by her Democratic challenger, whom she defeated in 2022 by only 546 votes, in the last two quarters – by wide margins.

Adam Frisch, who announced he would again challenge Boebert in February, brought in $2.6 million in the second quarter from April through June. Boebert brought in $818,000 in donations, less than a third of the Democrat’s haul, reported the Colorado Sun.

In the first quarters of the year, Frisch raised $1.7 million to Boebert’s $760,000 – despite not campaigning for the full period.

Frisch’s campaign told the Sun that their haul broke a record “for the largest quarterly fundraising for a U.S. House challenger in the year before an election, excluding special elections and self-funded campaigns.”

The Sun also broke down where those donations came from, noting that Frisch – a former Aspen city council member – pulled in more donations from inside Colorado than Boebert did.

“More than one-third of Frisch’s itemized donations so far this year came from Coloradans, compared with 26% of Boebert’s donations. She received 14% of her itemized donations from Texas and 11% from Florida, while Frisch received 12% from California donors and 11% from those in New York,” reported the Sun.

I not only think Boebert is going to be defeated I think the same thing will play out all over the country. Having lived and worked in Colorado and especially working out of Rifle I know most the people there are decent human beings that do not agree with the treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republican extremists. But the problem is most of them don't bother to vote. It takes a lot to get them to decide they have to get off their own personal asses and do do something about it. But thanks to treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republican stupid ignorant nut cases like Boebert it has reached that point

GOP Rep. Lauren Boebert downgraded to toss-up in Colorado reelection duel as Democratic rival beats her in fundraising race

Colorado Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert is now locked in a toss-up fight for reelection as the right-wing firebrand is getting clobbered in the fundraising race by a Democratic rival who came nearly 600 votes of ousting her in the midterms.

The non-partisan Cook Report downgraded the controversial Trump-loving lawmaker’s seat to “lean Republican” as repeat challenger Adam Frisch continues to build momentum in the western Colorado swing district.

“Boebert (has) avoided taking any steps to moderate her image since coming within 546 votes of losing to (Frisch),” Cook analyst Dave Wasserman wrote in an assessment of the rating shift.

Frisch raised $2.6 million in the just-ended second quarter, outpacing Boebert by a more than 3-1 margin.

It was much the same story in the first three months of 2023, when the former Aspen councilman raked in $1.7 compared to Boebert’s $764,000.

Frisch, a self-styled moderate, took Boebert to a recount in their first race last year, shocking most political analysts who thought she could cruise to reelection after winning the seat in 2020 by a more comfortable 6% margin.

Republicans hold a narrow 10-vote margin in the House, meaning the two parties are likely to battle hard for closely divided districts like CO-03, which covers a vast swath of the western part of the state from liberal ski towns to staunchly conservative rural areas.

Wasserman predicted that Republican groups would pour cash into an effort to sully Frisch as a closet radical leftist despite his effort to stake out political turf to the right of President Joe Biden.

Frisch is also benefiting from Colorado’s rapid move away from the GOP in recent years. Once a swing state, it is now solidly in the blue ledger.

She reveled in her role as one of the rebels who forced House Speaker Kevin McCarthy to make punishing concessions to win the speaker’s gavel after an unusual weeklong drama.

Boebert fervently defends gun rights and makes no secret of her disdain for even common sense gun restrictions even after the mass shootings that have rocked the nation.

She once posed in a Christmas card with her young sons holding assault weapons and recently tossed in the trash a pamphlet presented to her by the mother of one of the victims of the Uvalde school massacre.

Boebert has even stoked controversy with fellow MAGA extremists.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., called her a “little b---h” in a shouting match on the House floor after she accused Boebert of copying her resolution to impeach Biden.

Boebert has also been dogged by some unflattering personal headlines.

She portrays herself as a staunch proponent of family values but recently announced that her 17-year-old son is expecting a child after impregnating his 15-year-old girlfriend.

Boebert, who had her own first child at 18 when she was unmarried, recently announced that she is getting divorced from her husband of 15 years.

Lauren Boebert Says She Threw Away Pin Honoring Uvalde Victim Because Of AirPods

Mon, July 24, 2023 at 12:41 PM MDT

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) is finally explaining why she threw away a pin honoring a young victim of the Uvalde, Texas, school shooting seconds after receiving it.

The pin replicated the green Converse shoes that Maite Rodriguez, 10, was wearing she was killed in the shooting. Those shoes enabled Maite’s family to identify her body after her death.

In a video posted by the account PatriotTakes on Twitter, Boebert apologized for “the appearance” of “disrespecting a child” by throwing the pin into a trash can, but blamed her actions on the fact that she was wearing AirPods and said that the man who handed her the pin was someone who had approached her “aggressively” in the past.

“I was walking, had AirPods in, tried to tell the man that I was occupied, and he continued, and as he was handing me what turned out to be a memorial pin, I recognized him as a man who came at me very aggressively just a few weeks prior during a press conference,” Boebert said. “He was so aggressive that he was apprehended by another member and detained by Capitol Police officers.”

Boebert said she wanted to “make it very clear that I did not want to receive anything that this man had to give me, nor did I know what he was handing me.”

She added that she was “very vocal” about the Uvalde shooting and said that she had meant no disrespect by throwing away the pin.

But Elijah Pelton, the activist who handed Boebert the pin, told the Independent that Boebert has him confused with Jake Burdett, an activist who was pushed out of a press conference by Rep. Clay Higgins (R-La.) in May for asking questions about Boebert’s divorce.

Below is a clip of Boebert throwing away the pin during last week’s encounter, and a close-up of the pin itself, which was attached to a card describing Maite’s story.

'Maui is my home — you don't speak for me': Lauren Boebert slammed over Hawaii fires attack on Biden

Social media users slammed Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) over the far-right congresswoman’s suggestion that President Joe Biden isn’t giving adequate attention to the Maui fires.

Authorities on Sunday confirmed that the Lahaina, Hawaii blaze has killed 93 people and left at least 2,200 buildings damaged or destroyed, The Associated Press reports. The blaze has caused an estimated $6 billion in property damage.

“3000 destroyed homes. 80 people dead. Where’s Joe Biden? On vacation of course,” she added.

“There is no bottom for this president.”

POLL: Should Trump be allowed to run for office?

The Biden administration on Thursday declared the region a natural disaster area and pledged assistance.

"I want to say a word about the devastating wildfires that have claimed at least 36 lives in Maui, in Hawaii," Biden said at a Thursday event in Salt Lake City. "We have just approved a major disaster declaration of — for Hawaii, which will get aid into the hands of the people desperately needing help now. They've lost — anyone who's lost a loved one, whose home has been damaged or destroyed is going to get help immediately."

Biden said, "we're working as quickly as possible" to fight the fires and evacuate everyone.

He also told the press pool on Sunday, "we're looking into" a trip to Maui.

“There is a total crisis in Maui,” Boebert wrote Saturday on her social media account.

Journalist Ed Krassenstein linked to a CNN report in which Biden pledges to help. “Yes he has,” Krassenstein wrote.

“Boebert is completely clueless,” the group Rocky Mountain Progressives wrote, noting further, “President Biden has already declared Maui a disaster area and is sending emergency supplies and the National Guard. Boebert is trying to use the victims of the Maui victims to her advantage.”

Democratic activist Delilah Asterales, who goes by the handle @HawaiiDelilah on social media replied to Boebert’s post saying: “Maui is my home. You don't speak for me. @POTUS immediately declared a 'major disaster' in Hawaii & ordered all available federal assets to help with response. The head of FEMA is ON THE GROUND in Lahaina with Gov Green to determine immediate & long term needs. You are despicable.”

Asterales added: “A word to voters in Colorado's 3rd District: @AdamForColoradois running to unseat Boebert. I don't know him but I am pretty sure he will not embarrass you or exploit the pain of us in Maui in order to attack Joe Biden. Now is a good time to support him.”

Hawaii Governor Josh Green said in a statement Saturday: “We have the support from every level of government, especially given President Biden’s approval of our disaster declaration request today.”

Honolulu resident Gary Chun posted a comment in solidarity with those in his state: "Rep. Boebert, we in Hawai'i look forward to you and your House Republican colleagues to expedite help to the Maui community affected by this tragedy ... as soon as you get your head out of your ʻākea. Mahalo."

“There is a total crisis in Maui,” she wrote on Saturday in her first tweet addressing the disaster. “3000 destroyed homes. 80 people dead. Where’s Joe Biden? On vacation of course. There is no bottom for this president.”

Biden spent the weekend at his Rehoboth Beach home in Delaware. He approved a major disaster declaration in Maui on Thursday and pledged that “every asset that we have will be available to” the people of Hawaii.

Aid from the disaster declaration “will get aid into the hands of people who desperately need help,” Biden said, promising that “anyone who’s lost a loved one or whose home has been damaged or destroyed is going to get help immediately.”

Federal Emergency Management Agency Administrator Deanne Criswell arrived on Maui over the weekend. Biden said he directed her to streamline requests for aid.

Vice President Kamala Harris said last week that she and Biden weren’t planning to visit the island because “we don’t want to distract from the resources that need to go in to the victims of this tragedy, and of course the needs of the first responders.”

Hawaii Gov. Josh Green (D) said recovery efforts would be lengthy, “but we have the support from every level of government, especially given President Biden’s approval of our disaster declaration request today.”

The death toll from the disaster has climbed to 93 as authorities continue searching in the Lahaina community that was razed by a wildfire last week.

Boebert’s tweet attracted hundreds of critical responses from social media users.

Some noted that Biden had already mobilized support. Others accused Boebert of failing to do anything helpful herself, like providing information about ways to support those on Maui to her millions of followers.

Since the fires began, this is the only mention of #Maui by Lauren Boebert. Not a call for donations. Not a repost of someone gathering care packages for the victims. Not a repost of a go fund me. She doesn’t care about the people or homes destroyed, just scoring #maga points.

Projection to English translation: There is a total crisis in Maui. 3000 destroyed homes. 80 people dead. Joe Biden has declared it a national disaster, FEMA is on the ground. Because, as an adult, he can be in Delaware and still govern. There is no bottom for me.

What are you talking about? He already approved Maui for disaster relief and has been doing all he can up to this point. You want him to do what, land into Maui while the wildfires are still going? Come on Congresswoman, stop using other people’s grief for political gain. That’s… Show more

Boebert is completely clueless. President Biden has already declared Maui a disaster area and is sending emergency supplies and the National Guard. Boebert is trying to use the victims of the Maui victims to her advantage. District 3 for God’s sake vote for Adam Frisch in 2024!

    • Another Republican has jumped into the Colorado House primary to challenge Rep. Lauren Boebert.

    • Grand Junction attorney Jeff Hurd joins financial advisor Russ Andrews in the 3rd District primary.

    • In November 2022, Boebert narrowly won reelection against Adam Frisch in an election night shocker.
Last year, Rep. Lauren Boebert won reelection in what was one of the closest congressional races in the entire country.

So, naturally, Democrats immediately zeroed in on the Colorado Republican's sprawling 3rd congressional district, with the party's 2022 nominee, Adam Frisch, having already announced a rematch earlier this year.

But Boebert will also have to make it through a Republican primary with a new opponent now in the race. Two GOP candidates are now going up against the high-profile conservative congresswoman to secure the party nomination. Boebert first became a national figure due to her gun-themed restaurant, Shooter's Grill, which operated from 2013 until 2022 in Rifle, Colo., along with her outspoken anti-abortion views.

Grand Junction attorney Jeff Hurd, a former board chair of the Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce, jumped into the GOP primary on Wednesday.

"I've decided to enter the race to give Republican primary voters an option and a choice," Hurd told the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel. "This seat is very vulnerable in what would otherwise be a very safe seat (for conservatives). Being a Republican is in my DNA."

"I'm not interested in becoming a social media celebrity or in garnering a lot of press. I'm interested in helping families and helping businesses and helping communities," he continued.

Hurd joins financial advisor Russ Andrews in the GOP primary.

On Andrews' website, a message reads: "I Stand For Freedom, The 2nd Amendment And What's Right For Our Community. Let's Bring Drama Free And Logic Based Solutions Back To Colorado District 3."

In the Democratic primary, Frisch — a former Aspen city councilman — is joined by Grand Junction Mayor Anna Stout and candidates Debby Burnett, David Karpas, and Adam Withrow.

Last November, Boebert defeated Frisch by only 546 votes out of roughly 327,000 ballots cast.

Frisch is running as a moderate in a district that former President Donald Trump won in both 2016 and 2020, and many Republicans believe the conservative lean of the district is poised to give them a boost in a presidential election year.

Nice to see even Republicans see her as toxic! All she's done has been to lie, first about how she had a protest vote that turned out to be because she missed the vote... And then she lied about a bill she voted against, and how it would be good for her district. How do you explain that one?

Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert slightly trails Democratic challenger in Colorado race

The Colorado businessman who almost unseated Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., last year released a poll Tuesday showing him with a 2-point lead over the incumbent.

The poll found that 50% of likely voters in Colorado’s third congressional district would vote for opponent Adam Frisch, versus 48% for Boebert. The poll by Keating Research had a 3.5-point margin of error and was funded by Frisch’s campaign.

"This is the only poll that I have seen with Adam up," said Chris Keating, whose firm conducted the poll. He also said his firm was the only one during the 2022 cycle to predict that Frisch’s race against Boebert would be close. The final margin was 546 votes.

The news comes on the heels of another strong fundraising report from Frisch’s campaign. From Jan. 1 to June 30, Frisch’s campaign raised $4.4 million to Boebert’s $1.6 million, a nearly three-to-one margin, according to records from the Federal Election Commission.

Frisch led Boebert in donations from those who gave under $200, bringing in $2.8 million from smaller donors to Boebert’s roughly $620,000. Frisch spent $2.3 million and has $2.5 million in cash. Boebert spent $912,000 and has $1.4 million.

If you know her district which is just about as red as it gets that's actually huge. And the Democrats have boots on the ground trying to flip voters and find and resister more.

My experience down there is the people around Rifle are definitely very conservative and Republican. But most of them are not stupid ignorant detached from reality extremists. The are still capable of feeling embarrassment and humiliation and Boebert is providing them lots of both.

What's so funny about this is when Muckrakers accused Bobert of having two abortions she of course threatened to sue them for defamation. But she never did because as soon as you file suit the shit gets real and you move to discovery under oath. But Muckrakers turned around and sued her. So the shit is still real and Boebert is trying to run from it.

'Full of falsehoods': Activist slams Lauren Boebert's attempt to evade defamation case

Rep. Lauren Boebert asked a federal court to dismiss a defamation lawsuit filed against her by a North Carolina political activist.

The Silt Republican said Tuesday in a motion to dismiss the case that the plaintiff failed to state a legally sufficient claim and that statements by her that form the basis of the lawsuit are protected by the First Amendment. She also said a new Colorado law that protects people who exercise First Amendment rights from the threat of lawsuits — known as an anti-SLAPP law — calls for the case to be dismissed.

“Plaintiffs’ complaint reflects an ill-advised attempt to regulate the political arena through a strategic lawsuit,” Boebert’s motion says. “Because the First Amendment shields speech made in the ‘highly charged atmosphere’ of ‘an intense political campaign’ from judicial scrutiny … Plaintiffs’ Complaint fails as a matter of law and must be dismissed with prejudice.”

The lawsuit was filed in U.S. District Court of Colorado by David Wheeler, who last year publicized information about Boebert in an effort to derail her reelection bid, and the super PAC American Muckrakers, of which he is president. Wheeler, a Democrat, is a 2024 candidate for North Carolina insurance commissioner.

Wheeler previously brought a similar lawsuit against Boebert in a North Carolina state court last year, but the judge dismissed the case, saying that the proper venue for it was in Colorado. He filed the Colorado suit in June.

Wheeler and Muckrakers, citing sources close to Boebert, published information about Boebert that appeared to run counter to her political stance against abortion, among other allegations. The most notable release of information came in a June 14 press release that attracted national media attention. The group’s claims about Boebert in some cases lacked corroborating evidence or were shown to be false.

Wheeler stands by his allegations that Boebert once worked as a paid escort, had two abortions and used illegal drugs. His defamation suit claims Boebert made “maliciously false statements” about him and American Muckrakers on multiple occasions in media appearances last summer as she pushed back against his allegations, such as when she accused Wheeler of publishing “false statements knowing they were completely fabricated.”

Boebert in her Tuesday motion discusses Wheeler’s allegations at length.

Her statements in defense of herself, such as when she cited Wheeler’s “lies” and stated that his allegations were “completely baseless,” were “reasonable and truthful defenses against Muckrakers and Mr. Wheeler’s extraordinary attacks,” the motion says.

The document addresses specific allegations. Wheeler’s suit accuses her of having used illegal drugs. Her motion alludes to this allegation several times but specifies only that “Wheeler has produced no evidence that Representative Boebert has used illegal drugs” and that she has never been “a drug addict.” Wheeler claimed Boebert once worked as an unlicensed paid escort. Boebert’s motion in several instances exchanges reference to being an “escort,” a legal activity, with being a “prostitute,” an illegal one that doesn’t appear in Wheeler’s allegations.

Newsline sent messages seeking comment from Boebert’s team on Tuesday but did not receive a reply by the time of publication.

A substantial section of Boebert’s motion makes the argument that her statements against Wheeler last year constituted legal “hyperbole,” not defamation.

“Representative Boebert’s statements were made in the context of a heated, partisan, reelection campaign,” it says, noting as a comparison that “The First Amendment was adopted, after all, by colonists whose first major protest of the Stamp Act was to burn effigies of British politicians in central Boston.” She concludes, “Accusations of falsehoods are, for good or ill, a time-worn aspect of American political campaigns. Listeners hear such accusations for what they are: rhetoric, not defamation.”

Wheeler said in an email to Newsline that Boebert’s motion is “full of falsehoods.”

“Boebert doesn’t seem to have read our complaint, nor listened to any of the recordings, nor read the text message or emails we provided as exhibits in our complaint,” Wheeler said. “The recordings, emails, text messages, and other information provided by named sources were the basis for the allegations that she had abortions, was a paid escort, and used drugs and they are named in our complaint.”

Boebert, who represents Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District, was elected in November to a second term, and she is running for reelection in 2024.
