Well we all saw what happened on Jan 6th 2021. This thread was made before we all witnessed the party of "law and order" actively trying to turn this country into a banana republic.

A Texas Craigslist user who posted a $10,000 hit demand on Georgia election officials and the state governor has been sentenced to two years in prison, according to a new report.

Chad Stark was sentenced Wednesday after the Justice Department uncovered death threats made against Gov. Brian Kemp and judges linked to the 2020 presidential election, Politico reports.

Stark was arrested on federal charges in Travis County, Texas, in January 2022, according to the report. Politico reporter Josh Gerstein, first to report the sentencing, noted this is the first case brought by the Department of Justice's election threats task force.

The indictment accused Stark of searching Craigslist for someone willing to kill for $10,000, court records show.

“Georgia Patriots it’s time to kill [Official A] the Chinese agent - $10,000," the Jan. 5, 2021 post reads, according to the indictment.

“It’s our duty as American patriots to put an end to the lives of these traitors and take back our country by force.”

Stark pleaded guilty earlier this year, according to the Justice Department.

Turning Point USA official charged with campus assault on LGBTQ instructor: report

Kalen D'Almeida, a figure in the far-right student group Turning Point USA, has been charged with assault of an LGBTQ instructor at Arizona State University, reported KPNX's Brahm Resnik on Thursday.

D'Almeida has been charged with misdemeanor harassment, assault and disorderly conduct, according to court documents obtained by Resnik. Also charged is Braden Ellis, who reportedly worked as D'Almeida's videographer.

The attack, which began when TPUSA members confronted the instructor and was caught on film in October, was investigated by ASU police as a possible hate crime, reported 12News at the time.

"ASU security video of the incident released late Friday shows instructor David Boyles appearing to lunge at the TPUSA videographer. He is then shoved to the ground by the TPUSA personality who was peppering Boyles with questions about sexuality. Boyles appears to hit his head on the stone plaza," said that earlier report. "Boyles is a founder of Drag Story Hour. He teaches writing and a course on LGBTQ+ youth in pop culture and politics."

TPUSA, headed up by the right-wing activist Charlie Kirk, was a firm backer of former President Donald Trump, and many of its members have triggered controversy around the country, including a chapter president at the University of Missouri who last year was caught posting racial slurs on Snapchat.

In recent months Fox News, which once worked closely with TPUSA, has appeared to distance itself from the group.

MAGA rioter punched woman 'in the throat' after his sexual advances were denied: Feds

Alan St. Onge (Justice Department exhibit).

Federal prosecutors are arguing that a North Carolina man charged in connection with the January 6 Capitol attack should await trial in jail because he allegedly instigated a bar fight after a woman rejected him, reported CBS News' Scott MacFarlane on Thursday.

35-year-old Alan Michael St. Onge, 35, of Brevard, was initially arrested over the summer, reported WLOS. He was charged with felony civil disorder, trespassing, disorderly conduct, and impeding passage through Capitol grounds.

"Publicly available video shows St. Onge pushing against the barricades along with other rioters shortly before the police line on the east plaza was overrun," a DOJ press statement said at the time of his arrest.

The newly alleged assault incident would constitute a violation of the terms of his release.

According to the filing by the Justice Department in the D.C. District Court, police were called to the 27 Club in Asheville, North Carolina after St. Onge attacked a man and woman who had accosted him for sexual harassment of another woman.

"Victim-1 reported that she observed the defendant harassing another woman at the bar. When the woman denied the defendant's advances, the defendant walked up to Victim-1 and Victim-2 and asked Victim-1 to make a bet on 'who would f--k her first.' Victim-1 responded that the defendant needed to stop harassing the woman. The defendant then picked up an ashtray and threw it at Victim-1, striking her in the chest. Victim-1 threw a cup of water at the defendant, who then punched Victim-1 in the throat, causing scratch marks, bleeding, and bruising to her throat. Victim-2 then intervened and told the defendant to leave Victim-1 alone. The defendant pushed Victim-2 to the ground and began to kick him and stomp on his chest."

Per the filing, a witness then contacted law enforcement and told St. Onge, "If you believe that you are in the right, you'll wait for the police," after which St. Onge fled the scene.

As of press time, more than 1,200 people have been arrested in connection with January 6, making it one of the largest criminal investigations in U.S. history. The charges range from misdemeanor disorderly conduct, to seditious conspiracy convictions against leaders of the far-right Proud Boys and Oath Keepers groups.

Woman attacks Black Hebrew Israelite protest because it's racist against whites: report

A woman who drove her vehicle through a demonstration in Montana held by a sect of the Black Hebrew Israelites, injuring a protester, allegedly told a convenience store clerk that she was upset that the group is racist towards white people, Fox Carolina reported.

Members of the Israel United in Christ, which has been described by The Southern Poverty Law Center as “an extreme and antisemitic sect of Black Hebrew Israelites," were standing on a sidewalk holding signs and preaching through a microphone when the woman drove towards them more than once, resulting in a 45-year-old man sustaining minor injuries.

Genevienne Rancuret, 55, was arrested and charged with eight counts of felony assault with a weapon (her car) and felony criminal mischief and driving under the influence.

Also read: 'Not good legal strategy': CNN panel buries Giuliani's continued smearing of poll workers

“She thought they were being racist against white people. She didn’t appreciate their interpretation of the Bible,” the store clerk said. “She made the comment, ‘While I’m in a Jeep, I should just run them over.’ I did not think she was serious and then she went to the exit and it was pretty obvious she was very serious.”

The clerk went on to say that Rancuret was emotional and crying and appeared to be intoxicated.

The Anti-Defamation League said the sect has referred to Jews as the devil and believes that Judaism is a false religion and Black people, Hispanics and Native Americans are the true descendants of the tribes of Israel.

‘You’re Gonna Get Violence If You Keep This Sh*t Up’: Tucker Carlson Predicts Savagery in Response to Trump Prosecutions

Tucker Carlson railed against the prosecutions of former President Donald Trump and predicted they will lead to violence.

The former Fox News host appeared on Monday’s edition of The Megyn Kelly Show, where both blasted the charges brought against Trump in four jurisdictions. Trump is being prosecuted in two federal cases. One pertains to his effort to overturn the 2020 presidential election after he lost. The other stems from his retention of government documents after he left office. He is also being prosecuted in Georgia for his attempt to subvert the election results in that state. Lastly, he faces charges in New York of falsifying business records to conceal hush money payments.

In all, Trump faces 91 counts and has pleaded not guilty to all of them. He is also facing civil fraud charges in New York.

Megyn Kelly predicted to Carlson that Trump will be found guilty in his federal case regarding the election. She further said if the judge in the case puts Trump in prison while he appeals, “the country’s gonna burn.”

“I’m not calling for violence,” she said. “But there is no way the Trump base is not going to be beside itself with anger at that level of deprivation of being able to simply vote for the candidate of choice. That’s what’s being taken away here.”

It should be noted that Trump may still appear on the ballot if he has been convicted.

Carlson responded by calling violence “the worst thing” before explaining why Trump’s supporters might become violent.

“If you leave people no alternative, then what do you think is gonna happen?” he said. “I mean, the whole point of electoral democracy is that it’s a pressure relief valve that takes people who are very frustrated with the way things are going and gives them a way to express themselves, have their desires heard and ultimately their will done, to be represented in a peaceful way.”

Carlson went on to claim the 2020 election was “unfair” because social media companies suppressed the Hunter Biden laptop story from their platforms. He then agreed with Kelly’s assessment that Trump supporters will react violently:

You’re rigging the election. And they did that. So, if you keep doing that, and people are like, “Wait, I have no economic power. You’ve devalued my currency so it’s like, $11 for a dozen eggs. And my vote doesn’t matter anymore, well then, what do I have? Like, what power do I have?”

And you’re gonna get violence if you keep this shit up. That’s just the truth. And I’m very upset about that. I don’t want that to happen. I think the counter-violence will be much more extreme than the violence, but any rational person can see what’s coming. So, they have to stop this. The charges against Trump are not real. They’re not even for serious crimes.

Carlson has repeatedly downplayed the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol riot and even claimed it was perpetrated by the deep state.

Judge Engoron evacuated from court due to fire set hours after Trump testimony: report

    David McAfee

    Fox News/screen grab

Justice Arthur Engoron, the judicial official overseeing the civil fraud case in which Donald Trump has been found liable for fraud in real estate dealings, was reportedly evacuated from the court on Wednesday after a small fire was set in the court four hours after the ex-president testified.

Engoron has tried to use gag orders to protect his staff from potential attacks from Trump fans. Trump has continued to appeal the orders, and has attacked the justice's law clerk when the gag orders are paused.

Now, a fire forced the judge to flee, according to Business Insider's report.

"Four hours after testimony wrapped in the civil fraud trial against Donald Trump and the Trump Organization, the lower Manhattan courthouse was evacuated after someone set papers on fire, then pulled and used multiple fire extinguishers on the same floor as the courtroom," the outlet reported on Wednesday. "The judge in the case, New York Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron, was in his robing room when he heard shouting on the floor, and was safely escorted out of the courthouse."

    It continued:

"The judge was unaware of any specific personal threat at the time he evacuated. Two courthouse officials told Business Insider that the evacuation was prompted by a man creating a small fire by igniting paperwork, and then setting off two or more fire extinguishers. The man, who was not identified and was not a courthouse employee, was arrested, they said."

"Fire and police personnel quickly responded to the incident," according to the Business Insider report. "At around 5 p.m., the judge and other employees of the fourth floor were allowed to go upstairs to collect their belongings before leaving for the day."

The article further states that no one was hurt in the incident.

"It was not immediately clear what prompted the man to set the fire," the report states.

Former Prosecutor On Hunter Biden Case Says She Received Threats, Harassment
    Arthur Delaney
Updated Thu, December 14, 2023 at 6:38 PM MST·4 min read
    209

WASHINGTON — A former federal prosecutor told lawmakers Thursday that she has been receiving threats since Republicans accused her of coddling the president’s son Hunter Biden.

“I have been threatened and harassed, causing me to fear for my own and my family’s safety,” former Assistant U.S. Attorney Lesley Wolf told House members during a closed-door deposition.

“I have no doubt that after today the threats and harassment and my own fear stemming from them will heighten exponentially. This not only scares me, but as someone who loves this country, it also breaks my heart,” Wolf said in an opening statement. “We are living in a day and age where politics and winning seem to be paramount and the truth has become collateral damage.”

Republicans demanded the interview as part of their impeachment inquiry against President Joe Biden. They have accused him of participating in Hunter Biden’s foreign business deals and claimed that the Justice Department has gone easy on his son over unpaid taxes and other alleged crimes.

In recent years, Republicans have had a way of exposing obscure government workers to threats and harassment. Rudy Giuliani, previously an attorney for former President Donald Trump, is currently on trial for defaming two Georgia election workers who said his and Trump’s false voter fraud allegations in 2020 resulted in a deluge of threats that disrupted their lives.

Hunter Biden has been under investigation since 2018, and has been the subject of intense political attention since Trump falsely accused his father of having used the vice presidency in 2015 and 2016 to benefit a Ukrainian gas company that paid the younger Biden millions.

Prosecutors initially sought a plea deal with Hunter Biden on gun and tax charges earlier this year, but the two sides disagreed over the scope of immunity that he would receive from future prosecution. He has since been charged with felonies for alleged tax evasion and illegal gun ownership.

Despite the fact that he faces years in prison if convicted, Republicans have insisted that Hunter Biden has gotten preferential treatment from the Justice Department, especially compared with Trump, who faces federal charges over the attempt to overturn the 2020 election and the hoarding of government documents.

Whistleblowers from the IRS’ criminal division claimed in congressional testimony this year that Wolf blocked them from pursuing certain search warrants and generally disagreed with their plans to be more aggressive in investigating the Biden family.

“She limited what they could do in their investigation,” Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), one of the leaders of the impeachment effort, said on Fox News in June, shortly before requesting a transcribed interview with Wolf and other officials. Jordan subsequently sent Wolf a subpoena.

On Thursday, Wolf joined the ranks of other Justice Department officials who’ve said that politics had nothing to do with their decisions in the Hunter Biden case. She alluded to criticism of the Biden investigation, saying she followed the law with respect to “politically sensitive investigations, election year sensitivities, attorney search warrants, search warrant filter requirements, and professional conduct rules barring contact with represented parties.”

Wolf said in her opening statement that she would not be able to answer most questions from Republicans drilling into details about the case, citing Justice Department policy. She revealed that she had recently left the department, but said her departure had nothing to do with the work. She would have left sooner but stayed “because of my belief that my family and I were safer while I remained an [assistant U.S. attorney].”

Rep. Glenn Ivey (D-Md.), who attended the deposition, said that Republicans peppered Wolf with questions about the Hunter Biden case for hours even though she wasn’t responding in a substantive way.

“They kept showing her documents and things that they knew that she couldn’t comment on, asking her questions about the ongoing investigation, even though they knew she couldn’t comment on it,” Ivey told HuffPost.

Ivey said he did not believe that Republicans deliberately incited harassment against Wolf, but he said it was “irresponsible” for lawmakers to be putting people’s names out in the public to the extent that they have.

“They know at this point that when they put people’s names out there and connect them in these types of investigations, and make suggestions about them being involved in cover-ups and things like that, they know that this is going to be a consequence of that,” Ivey said.

Donna Brazile tears into Reince Priebus after he says Trump voters want 'more blood'

    David Edwards

    ABC/screen grab

Former RNC Chair Reince Priebus clashed with former DNC Chair Donna Brazile over the claim that GOP voters want "more blood" in the 2024 campaign.

During a panel discussion on ABC's This Week program, ABC analyst Averi Harper reflected on Nazi-style rhetoric used in Trump's campaign speeches.

"He has really had this real intense flirtation with authoritarian leaders," Harper said. "He has spoken to and echoed back to lines that have to do with Hitler, right?"

"He did not speak about migrants or immigrants from Europe, right?" she continued. "Poisoning the blood was the phrase he used, which is obviously an incredibly loaded phrase. Like the vermin phrase, the word that he used. And this is rhetoric that he continues to use on the trail."

Host Jonathan Karl recalled that Priebus had tried to convince Trump to condemn former KKK leader David Duke during the 2016 campaign.

"Do you worry that, you know, does he rush us towards this nomination, that he's going off those into those places that you tried to keep him from going?" Karl asked.

"Not particularly, because I think you're all misreading the electorate," Priebus insisted. "I think that the electorate is not looking for less blood. I think they're looking for more blood."

"I think, as I've said before, people are looking for a bigger middle finger this time than they were in 2016," he added.

    Brazile interrupted.

"Mr. Chairman, let me just say this," she began. "You're talking about taking millions of people off their health care, which is Donald Trump. He is pledged to do that. That's blood."

"You're talking about suspending the United States Constitution, something that Donald Trump has said," she noted. "You know what I don't get? I don't get the fact that you're willing to stand up for someone who's praising dictators as he did."

"Listen, what I'm doing here, Donna, OK, I am telling you what the reality on the ground is," Priebus scoffed. "And if you can convince me that those 100,000 [swing voters] are worried about Donald Trump suspending the Constitution."

"You know, even though he said that on multiple occasions," Karl observed.

"You have to be able to convince people that are voting that he means what he says," Priebus argued.

An Arizona man has been charged with making threats against federal officials.

Michael Lee Tomasi, 37, of Rio Verde, was arrested Friday, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.

Tomasi is accused of threatening FBI agents, a judge, and elected officials while he was living in Arizona and Colorado.

According to court records, Tomasi made threats in an online forum called www.patriots.win.

The comments included derogatory remarks about current and former federal officials, who Tomasi said should be tortured and killed, according to a redacted copy of the indictment of Tomasi.

Tomasi also expressed his desire to rape a female member of Congress, the indictment states.

"The threats of violence against public officials alleged in this indictment are abhorrent," said U.S. Attorney General Merrick B. Garland in a statement. "The defendant is specifically charged with threatening to kill FBI agents and other FBI employees just for doing their jobs."

On Monday, Tomasi entered a plea of not guilty on all counts. He faces decades in prison and hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines if convicted.

Government official forced to flee after Trump fans shared address online: court filing

A government official was forced to flee his home after one former President Donald Trump’s supporters shared his address online, according to information revealed in an unredacted gag order issued Wednesday.

The new version of Judge Tanya Chutkan’s partial gag order was released by a federal appeals court in Trump’s Washington D.C. election interference case, the Messenger was first to report.

The original 68-page order, issued a three-judge panel of the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals on Dec. 8, included three pages with blacked out information, the Messenger notes.

Multiple state and local officials faced security threats after they were targeted by Trump or his supporters, the new version shows.

That blacked-out portion also details a state official who decided to stop making public comments after Trump tweeted about him because it was “the safest thing to do.”

These anecdotes were presented to the panel as they considered whether or not to uphold the judge's October gag order against Trump, which they ultimately decided to do.

Trump has appealed the ruling, but remains free to criticize the Biden Administration, the Justice department, and Special Counsel Jack Smith’s team.

The former president has pleaded not guilty to felony charges that he obstructed the 2020 presidential election.

This one will be first in need of review. This is just a small sampling of the treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republican's reaction when they believed the Supreme Court justices were threatened when they overturned Roe v Wade. And rightly so threatening violence against judges for their decisions is not acceptable and people who do it need to be put in jail.

But now lets look at how deafening their silence is now.

'Behead judges': Here are Trump supporters' violent threats in wake of Colorado ruling

In just 24 hours after the Colorado Supreme Court issued a ruling that blocked former President Donald Trump from the state’s electoral ballot, a flood of violent and hate-filled messages hit the judges.

Among them were outright death threats, with addresses and other personal details being widely shared.

"What do you call 7 justices from the Colorado Supreme Court at the bottom of the ocean?" a social media user asked. "A good start."

Many of the comments, first reported by NBC News, were posted in response to Trump’s responses to the ruling on his Truth Social platform.

"This ends when we kill these f---ers," a post on a pro-Trump internet forum wrote.

The nonpartisan group Advance Democracy, which conducts public interest research, issued a report into the messages, It found justices’ home and office addresses, email addresses and phone numbers posted online.

Messages detailed in the group’s reports on the threats included mentions of weapons including hollow-point bullets, rifles, rope and bombs.

"Kill judges. Behead judges. Roundhouse kick a judge into the concrete," one online post read.

Another read, "Slam dunk a judge's baby into the trashcan."

Similar threats were targeted at Trump’s perceived enemies after the FBI searched his Mar-a-Lago home and after every one of his indictments. In Fulton County, jury members had to be protected after a flood of hate hit them following his arraignment on racketeering charges. Their home addresses were posted online.

A federal appeals court mentioned the pattern of threats when it upheld a gag order against Trump in his election interference case earlier this month.

“We are seeing significant violent language and threats being made against the Colorado justices and others perceived to be behind yesterday’s Colorado Supreme Court ruling," Daniel J. Jones, a former FBI investigator and the president of Advance Democracy, told NBC News.

"The normalization of this type of violent rhetoric — and lack of remedial action by social media entities — is cause for significant concern."

"Trump’s statements, which have sought to delegitimize and politicize the actions of the courts, is serving as a key driver of the violent rhetoric. Political leaders on both sides of the political aisle need to speak out against these calls for violence, and social media platforms need to reassess their role in hosting and promoting this rhetoric.”

And if people went through this thread they will see nearly countless examples of treasonous conservative/Ame4rica Hating/Republicans threatening judges, court workers, prosecutors, law enforcement, politicians, and even election workers with violence every time they are even perceived to be ruling against Trump. And you never see the right wing members condemning that. In fact in many cases they support and advocate for violence to protect their Chosen One Traitor Trump.

Brilliant. Oh, bravo american hater! Well played!
We could point out the deafening silence last summer.
Or crawl down into the archives to post the condemnation of violence, but it would be a waste of time.
    Point fail.
