And now @mstrman did you seriously think you could get away with this? Like I keep pointing out you are like a small child with an imaginary friend just making things up.

Let's first hold you to what you originally said.

    And then your challenge.

And my acceptance of your challenge.

And all you come up with is just a link.

But does anything in that link show Democrats rushing the Capitol in 2016? Of course not because you are just making things up like a small child with an imaginary friend in your own little fantasy world.

So first what is the reality? What are you really talking about?

Well that's not too hard since its already on the previous page.

That is nowhere the Capitol and no one was rushing it.

Here's what was really going on according to the link you posted.

And so I will repeat myself.

And now let's get back on topic with more hilarity.

MTG is of course bluffing, She can't get the votes. But its fun to watch the back stabbing, screaming, and Speaker Johnson neutering.

'The clock has started': Marjorie Taylor Greene tells Johnson his days are numbered

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) created more internal drama for her fellow House Republicans on Friday when she filed a motion to vacate the chair of the speaker of the House of Representatives.

While speaking with reporters after filing the motion, Greene sent a pointed message to House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) that his days leading the chamber were numbered.

Greene started by complaining that Johnson had broken his promises to bring back "regular order" to the House of Representatives, and she complained about him forcing members to vote on a massive omnibus spending package that Republicans in the past had scorned.

ALSO READ: Marjorie Taylor Greene to federal election regulators: get bent over ‘MTG’

She then emphasized that, while she respected Johnson personally, she believed that it was time for him to go — although she did acknowledge that there's no immediate timeframe for when the vote would take place.

"The clock has started," she said. "It's time for our conference to choose a new speaker."

Greene also dismissed the possibility that Johnson could save his job by relying on Democratic votes to prevent his ouster.

"I'm not worried about that at all," she said. "I don't think the American people want, Republican voters across the country, want to see a Republican speaker that's held in place by Democrats."

Greene's petition marks the second time in less than a year that a House Republican has moved to oust their own speaker after Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) last year filed a motion to vacate that led to the downfall of former Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA).

Greene has long threatened to oust Johnson should he agree to help send military aid to Ukraine as it tries to fight off an invasion from neighboring Russia.

I am trying to look this up to double check but if I remember my political science correctly if the Republicans lose their majority for any reason that triggers the Democrats going into the majority, Hakeem Jeffries becomes Speaker and re-assigns all the committees with Democratic majorities.

Republican House majority in peril after yet another congressman announces resignation

Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-WI) will resign from his position next month and leave the Republican's House majority "hanging by a thread," according to his press team and reports.

Gallagher, 40, made the unusual mid-term announcement Friday on X, where he disclosed his last day serving Wisconsin's Eighth Congressional district will be April 19.

"Four terms serving Northeast Wisconsin in Congress has been the honor of a lifetime and strengthened my conviction that America is the greatest country in the history of the world," Gallagher said.

"After conversations with my family, I have made the decision to resign my position."

After a spate of early resignations from House Republicans such as Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO), Gallagher's early departure will leave his party with a single vote to spare on upcoming legislation, NBC reports.

The news outlet described Gallagher's announcement as a "blow" for Speaker Mike Johnson, who on Friday received more news of a tenuous hold on power in the form of a motion to vacate him from Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Gallagher's move slashes House Republican's thin majority from 218-213 down to 217-213, which could spell trouble should Democrats unite and vote together. House Republicans could only afford a single defection.

Gallagher, chairman of the select committee investigating the Chinese Communist Party, has reportedly grown frustrated with Republican antics that included the impeachment of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, NBC reports.

The Wisconsin lawmaker received both praise and criticism from fellow lawmakers after he made his official statement.

"An outstanding member," replied Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN). "He contributed much to policy decisions and earned some respect for our nation from around the globe."

"It was an honour to meet you when our Canadian Special Committee on China came to Washington to trade ideas on a difficult and important relationship," added Ken Hardie, a member of Canada's House of Commons. "You have distinguished yourself as a passionate, intelligent advocate on behalf of your constituents and your nation."

    But others wanted answers.

"Imagine not only leaving Republicans with a one seat majortiy [sic] but also your last vote in Congress being in favor of a $1.2 TRILLION omnibus," snapped James Reichart. "You will not be missed!"

"Disappointed," added Neil Thompson. "You should serve out your term."

And the April 19th date is just a giant fuck you on the way out the door. If he left before April 19th it would have required a special election to fill the seat. But according to Wisconsin state law vacancies that occur after April 19th will remain vacant until the November election. So that seat can't be filled.

Gallagher, age 40, announced he would resign his position on April 19. It will leave Republicans with a 217-213 majority in the House, meaning that they cannot afford to lose more than one vote on a party-line vote.

Oh fuck this is so funny. Thanks to Johnson they had to pass the bill before they knew what was in it. And Johnson apparently didn't know what was in the bill himself. Because there are all kinds of things like this for the Democrats in it.

‘We Did Not Authorize This’: Chip Roy Furious After Details Emerge of $1.2T Spending Bill

Some House Republicans were steaming mad after learning about at least one of the provisions in the $1.2 trillion spending bill that was signed into law by President Joe Biden late last night.

House Speaker Mike Johnson came under fire from right-wing Republicans for working with Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer (R-NY) to get the bill passed Friday and avert a government shutdown.

In order to move quickly, Johnson waived the usual 72-hour rule that allows members time to read through the sometimes thousands of pages of an omnibus bill before voting on it. At the end, the bill passed the House with 112 Republicans and 22 Democrats voting against it. It then went on to pass the Democratic-controlled Senate and was signed into law.

MAGA Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) was so spitting mad that she filed a motion to vacate Johnson’s speakership as a “warning” but didn’t fully put it into play.

The morning after the spending bill became law, the Department of Justice announced a new “National Extreme Risk Protection Order Resource Center” that sent some far-right Republicans into a meltdown.

Republican Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) posted to X (formerly Twitter) claiming, “We did not authorize this. And yes, an omnibus with $200 million in it for a new FBI headquarters I might add.”

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) called the “Resource Center” a “Federal Red Flag center,” tweeting, “What the hell is this evil? A Federal Red Flag center; We did not authorize this. Announced, of course, just hours after the omnibus passes.”

Greene also referred to to the center as “a massive Red Flag Operation” put in place to “violate” Americans’ rights.

Conservatives have accused the DOJ of being “weaponized” against Republicans and presumed GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Congress will be in recess for Easter break until April, so any political fallout from the new law will be on hold until then.

This is one of those "You say he's your boyfriend, but he wasn't your boyfriend last night" moments. Sorry, Roy. You did authorize it.

What we have here is a Congressman who just realized that bailing out a sinking ship prevents both sides of the ship from sinking. The idea that half a ship can sink, while the other half can be great again is a uniquely Republican concept.

Its kind of funny because there is a chance the treasonous conservative/America Hating/Republicans will lose their majority making Hakeem Jeffires Speaker. But in the meantime Democrats are in no hurry because Johnson is the next best thing to having a Democratic Speaker.

'Snarling' Mike Johnson may soon 'bare his fangs' at Marjorie Taylor Greene: CNN panel

Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) is showing signs of a fight to save his job from right-wing efforts to vacate his seat, a CNN panel of experts agreed Monday.

On Sunday night, Johnson went on Fox News to blast Marjorie Taylor Greene’s attempt to boot him from the job he’s held for just five months and replace him with a new speaker.

The move comes as resignations among House Republican ranks are set to leave the party with just a single vote majority.

“I think all of my other Republican colleagues recognize this is a distraction from our mission,” Johnson said on Fox about Greene’s motion. “The mission is to save the republic, and the only way we can do that is if we grow the House majority, win the Senate and win the White House. So we don't need any dissension right now.”

CNN host John Berman said he saw signs of anger as Johnson spoke.

“He's sort of saying that with a smile, but I feel like he may not be smiling inside,” he said.

Berman's guests agreed that the speaker was beginning to fight back.

ALSO READ: Marjorie Taylor Greene to federal election regulators: get bent over ‘MTG’

“He's going to have to bare his fangs,” said political commentator Errol Lewis. “He's going to have to snarl a little bit and really finally push back against this group that seems determined to wreck the Republican majority. I mean, they've done everything they could to show that they care more about their issues with their fundraising or whatever it is, their personal agenda, than in sort of supporting the team, supporting the party and holding on to the majority. So they're down to one vote now. If they're going to wait until they're underwater, when Democrats could in fact simply take control of the House, that would be extreme. But that's really where they're heading.”

Greene moved to boot Johnson as speaker last month, furious after she said he sided with Democrats to pass a spending bill and approve funding for Ukraine. No vote on the motion has yet been set.

A similar effort in October booted Rep. Kevin McCarthy from the speaker’s role and opened up weeks of chaos as the House GOP tried to fill the seat.

“Mike Johnson is going to have to face down Marjorie Taylor Greene, Matt Gaetz, the rest of the radicals in his caucus and tell them, we're not going to do this or you're going to have to find another speaker," Lewis said.

Berman added, “You know, Earl brings up a good point. He was sort of half smiling there, but that was more snarling than I feel like I’ve seen from Mike Johnson.”

The Easter Bunny brought the Republicans a basket of goose eggs.

Green, Gaetz, Jordan, and Comer have yet to learn the most fundamental lesson of politics. You have to deliver something. For all the noise they have made, they go back home empty handed. They can try to campaign on the "Send me back and I'll nail the Biden crime family for sure this time" ticket. That's just asking for a challenge from a fellow Republican on the "I won't fuck up things worse than they have" ticket. It's very unlikely the GOP will lose the seats, but just as unlikely this MAGA quartet will return.

They can't boast about any government largesse their districts receive, without everyone pointing out none of them voted for it.

We can expect to see a lot of outside the district money poured into the Republican primaries to make some GOP unknown look like a level headed person.

Mike Johnson says Jan. 6 rioters just 'happened to be walking through the building'

Speaker of the House Mike Johnson says some of the people in the halls of Congress during the January 6, 2021 insurrection were “innocent” and just happened to be there, walking about the building.

Some are viewing his remarks as a further push by Republicans to whitewash the attack, which led to an impeachment of Donald Trump and later criminal charges for the ex-president.

Because of the COVID pandemic, the U.S. Capitol was largely closed to visitors on January 6, and tours were banned for that day. Democrats had raised concerns after they said they saw some Republican members of Congress leading groups of people around the Capitol in the days before the insurrection.

CNN had reported Democrats were “growing concerned about seeing large groups of pro-Trump supporters walking around the Capitol the week around the swearing in of the new Congress leading up to the January 6.”

Speaker Johnson told Newsmax on Monday he was fulfilling the “commitment” he made to release to the public all the video Congress has from the January 6 insurrection, and had recently released 13,000 hours of tape — though he had initially tried to blur the faces of the “innocent.”

“So I made a commitment immediately after I got the gavel that we would start with this and that originally, we were trying to blur some of the faces to protect the innocent, you know, people who were just there and just happened to be walking through the building,” Johnson told Newsmax’s Eric Bolling.

READ MORE: Florida in Play? Biden and Strategists Say Yes as Court Puts Abortion, Marijuana on Ballot

Some critics are comparing Johnson’s remarks to those of Republican members of Congress denying the facts of the insurrection in the days and months after January 6.

U.S. Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) had called the insurrectionists “peaceful protestors” who were being harassed by the Dept. of Justice.

U.S. Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC) had denied the insurrectionists were Trump supporters.

U.S. Rep. Andrew Clyde (R-GA) had said, “If you didn’t know the TV footage was a video from January the 6th, you would actually think it was a normal tourist visit.”

“There was no insurrection,” Clyde insisted in May of 2021. “To call it an insurrection is a bold-faced lie.”

Bloomberg congressional reporter Steven Dennis, reporting at the time on Clyde’s remarks, had noted: “People died, windows were smashed, they were chanting to hang Mike Pence, 140 police officers were wounded, the House, Senate and VP were rushed into hiding, staff cowered for hours in offices. Clyde suggests it was just an unruly mob with some rioters committing ‘vandalism.'”

Others noted the Republican National Committee, under the leadership of then-chair Ronna McDaniel, had called the January 6 insurrection “legitimate political discourse.”

Even the Biden campaign picked up on Johnson’s remarks, responding with video from January 6.
