One way is just flat out simple. It is when the best people you are debating can do is commit an ad hominem logical fallacy by attacking or dismissing the source of info0rmation rather than addressing the actual information. That is always an automatic loser because its a logical fallacy which can never be true. But you can also prove its a loser yourself with this simple test. If what the person attacking and/or dismissing the source is true and the source is no good and the information untrue then it would be a very simple task to prove that. But losers never do that because the vast majority of the time they can't because the information is true and accurate.

And of course the other way to identify losers is a little more complex and something I resort to myself sometimes just for the fun of it. And that is when posters and their socks are reduced to childish name calling and personal attacks. And like I said that is more in the eye of the beholder but at least when I do it I try to back up my name calling and personal attacks with evidence of why I am doing it.

Actually a loser starts a thread stating that they are always right and when they do what others do it is only for"the fun of it"...Get over yourself, you don't impress. Because you or anyone else posts something doesn't make it a "fact". It just means you were able to google a source that supports your contention. The Master of Facts does it all the time. Another way others can tell you've lost is when you actually go and start a thread proclaiming how you've won. Cuz if you actually have to go out of your way to ATTEMPT to point it out, instead of just knowing that others should be able to see it, then you've lost...again.

 

I actually agree with everything you have said here. It is always important to examine the source of information. But when someone simply attacks and/or tries to dismiss the source without ever showing why the information is wrong they are exactly the blind fool you describe clinging to a logical fallacy because they cannot support and/or defend their beliefs.

Now this is actually an example of a different kind of sure loser argument. Because they start with just a blatant lie and then just talk in circles.

For example far from being always right or even thinking that I have always said I am not as smart as I think I am and I have admitted when I have been wrong I believe more than any member of this forum.

And one of the points of this thread is to prove of course simply posting something does not make it a fact or true and accurate. But it something posted is not factual, a bunch of lies, or even just wrong and/or debatable that can be proven.

Now listen Ace I really can't lose this one. First because I cite my examples of how you and M4M are one and the same. So at worst the least I can be is substantially correct because even if I can't prove you are one and the same I can and have proven how you post the same.

I am not proclaiming anything. I am using basic critical thinking skills to prove how not just me but anyone can tell when someone debating them on any given point has already lost the debate.

And I am also using this thread to call attention to some of the most favored responses to arguments and observations that can't be logically and reasonable disputed.
